The David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem1 / 20

Wow wow wow Mamilla. Your service and luxury are truly unmatched in Jerusalem. Mamilla has everything you could want during a visit to Jerusalem- wonderful location close and walkable to the old city, kind employees, luxurious rooms, and delicious food. In particular, Rania is an absolute superstar. You will probably see her walking around at breakfast, introducing herself and getting to know you with...
I was fortunate enough to spend a few days at this lovely jewel 💎 of a hotel 🏨 right next to the old city and next to the mamilla mall. I have only good things to say about this wonderful Hotel including its wonderful staff that are always accommodating for any needs you might have and especially the concierge desk Savana and team. When you are traveling to Jerusalem it's good to have a concierge...
The service is beyond expectations It is so genuine,so warm ,so gentle ! This is by far the best hotel in Jerusalem! From the Valet at the entrance, and by the wonderful Bisan at the reception to all the waiters, cleaners, spa team etc.. Don't even bother to dine outside the hotel, they got great food and the service ...already said.. We enjoyed every minute! Thank you
We had the best stay at the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem! Everything was perfect (breakfast, Shabbat dinner, room, etc), but what we needed to accentuate here was the exceptional service. A shout-out to Rania who checked on us every single morning during breakfast, making sure we were happy (and we were!); to Stefan and Ella (concierge) who are so patient and don't rush you when you need information...
We are happy to write a review of the hotel but we need to clarify our credit card bill from the hotel first. We've sent an email but haven't heard back yet. This is our first priority. Our dates of our stay were June 13 -14, 2023. Our bill is listed under our last name noted above.
We loved this hotel and its staff, especially the concierge team who are incredible! Stephan is hands down one of the best concierge I have seen, with prompt attention to emails and great suggestions! Our room was lovely with a great living room and bathroom and modern aesthetic. The decorations are minimalist in the rooms, functional. Overall, the hotel has a modern vibe and is in a great location...

Excellent. Yael in customer services particularly helpful , professional, and kind.
Due to the situation we could not check in in this hotel. Therefore they made a reservation for us in the Leonard Plaza hotel. Same price same service. Perfect!!
Very nice hotel, good location and good service
It doesn't have a pool, the double bed they gave us was a bed that was pushed together, uncomfortable!
Hotel has a nice, superficial appearance, inside and out. Public spaces are nice. It is also an 8-minute walk to the Damascus Gate entrance to the old city. Good sized guest room, clean and comfortable. Nice amenities. Poor download WIFI and almost no upload at all. Hotel could use a good refresh- an older place that cosmetic changes do not cover up the poor maintenance and aging of the property. Few...
A basic hotel, with a low maintenance level. For example, the TV and the safe in our room did not work.. Breakfast was good and the location is good: next to the light train and within a 20 minutes walk to the Old City.

We were very pleased with our stay in Dan. We've ordered a family room and were upgraded to a suite. Service was good, the room was very clean. Breakfeast is good but there is room for improvement. The pool was heated and the music was just as loud as needed. We will definetly come back.
Wonderful hotel with indoor and outdoor pools , spa and great gym. The breakfast is World Class. Enjoyed every minute.
Was amazing pool was great food was amazing service as well rooms are big and elegant loved everything about this hotel would definitely go back. Went for birthday they upgraded the room which was so great. I personally loved everything about this hotel even at dinner and breakfast the staff was just great.
It was such a lovely stay ! I love Jerusalem! Will be visiting this gem next time I’m in town. Thank you! Lovely staff. Thank you for the hospitality of the amazing team especially the lovely receptionist who gave me super nice recommendations
The ambience, decor, amenities and staff are all lovely. The view is great too. The food was plentiful and tasty with many healthy options. The kitchen and wait staff were very accommodating. The train is a few minute walk to the light rail which can take you to the city center in 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend
Stephanie is amazing!! She is so clean and sweet always helping us w a smile!! Every time I came back into my room after her it was as if I am walking in for the first time!! She truly is the reason I am writing this review!! The food was great and the entire hotel is!! I kept putting my electronic key next to my phone and the front desk always helped me w a smile
Sadly, I thought the customer service was lacking. Our room did not match the picture advertised. We were very disappointed. And although the room was changed we strongly suspect it again was wrong as again nothing like the picture advertised. Reported the iron not working on our floor and waited over an hour for an iron promised but no show. Next day we found the iron repaired but was not informed...

polite staff at desk. Lady at breakfast desk did not allow me and my partner in for breakfast because it was fifteen minutes to ten, even though we had paid for bed and breakfast. All we wanted was a coffee and croissant
I was very happy staying at the hotel
Standard of big hotels, large rooms, large swimming pool, very good breakfast…… very reasonable price 👍, I recommend this hotel 😊
Had an amazing stay Old style rooms but very nice and comfortable very nice lounge
Food pretty simple. Television doesn't work well, the guy at the reception told me that he can do nothing for me and proposed me to pay 250 nis more to have Television.
Room looks a little bit rundown but it was spacious and the ensuite bathtub made for a great way to relax after an entire day of walking around in the city. It was located a little distance from the Tram stop, so if you dont know the shortcut, it could take a while to see and walk to the hotel. Breakfast selection and variety was great, enjoyed the meals thoroughly. Location was near the civic centre...

Helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Decor in the room could do with a bit of a refresh but all good clean and lovely.
Great value for money Very comfortable hotel. Very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing with plenty cupboard and storage space and excellent bathroom. The hotel is large with plenty space to sit and relax and the breakfast and food is excellent. This is our second stay as we were also there in the summer and would definately go again.
We enjoy this hotel!!!! We came here in the summer for a family wedding. The staff was very caring and helpful. Breakfasts were great, location amazing, and everyone enjoyed the stay. We just came back for another trip and so appreciate the staff. Housekeeping was a bit forgetful this time. We overall were pleased!
We had a wonderful time at this hotel.  The service is great and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel for people visiting Jerusalem
Disapointing all around The Leonardo Plaza is a dated hotel and has been for too many years. Furniture in the bar area is dirty stained and furniture in the hotel rooms is scratched and old. The hotel needs an upgrade in all areas. The outdoor area is also quite dirty. Staff too need to be upgraded. When I arrived the two guys at the reception desk were fighting. Bathroom flooded after each bath . Only one chair per room . No table available at the room .
Located in the beautiful and historic German Quarter. Lovely, comfortable and stylish rooms, friendly staff and excellent food.
Overall it was nice, we asked for a few requests and didn't get a response. And early in the morning the cleaners woke us up. It wasn't nice. There is room for improvement.

Very nice hotel, welcoming staff, needs a little refreshment
Perfect hotel to stay in Jerusalem, with a high level of service. The renovated rooms are really nice. I always enjoy coming here, talking to Mr Allayan which is really professional and Mishleen Z who does her best to serve clients. The whole team is amazing and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. The pool is awesome. Most of the tourists are American, British, Australian. I will always come back to...
My stay at the inbal hotel was truly outstanding! Not only did it offer a fantastic location just a 12-minute walk from Mamilla, but the breakfast experience was a highlight in itself. The breakfast spread was a culinary delight, featuring a real honeycomb pancake/waffle station, made-to-order omelets, and an array of other mouthwatering options. To top it off, the cappuccino and latte station added...
The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff are great. The location was also excellent. On the downside, it’s more suited to families, very busy and loud and the pool was chaotic. Also, the spa staff were a bit unhelpful so we didn’t bother. Felt a little over priced compared to the quality of the other places we stayed at during our visit to Israel which cost less.
Great location, nice facility, friendly staff, Over the top breakfast with more delicious food that anyone can hope for. A wheel of cheese. Honey, straight from the honey comb and much more. The Shabbos dinner was so good and there was so much food, it bordered on being obscene. Definitely worth the stay.
Good location, lots of tour groups stay here. Good breakfast though the evening buffet is expensive ($100 USD per person). On a six-day stay we NEVER got a bottle of water (others did), the toilet did not flush properly, the carpet was never vacuumed, rarely got a full set of new towels and the dirty glasses were not removed until we complained. We chose to take my son & his friends a total of 10 people to the Waldorf instead of David Citadel, for the Friday night meal, because the Waldorf offers waiter service. But that was a huge mistake. The hotel was super clean, the staff were extremely nice and helpful They really stepped up their game on Shabbat and holiday meals So many choices to choose from and the quality of the food amazing From lamb chops to Veil and Great chicken options Highly recommend
What a world-class experience! The stay was fantastic, and the staff were amazing. As we arrived, we were greeted warmly and welcomed with refreshments at the restaurant "on the house". Perfect location for visiting the Old City. Lots of dining and shopping steps away from the hotel. Gym/Spa on property was great, roof restaurant/bar has incredible views at night.

Love the Mamilla! Best location! It was a great location and a beautiful hotel. And great staff and yummy food. But it was right on a busy street which didn’t disturb my sleep but you heard a lot of street noise so only reason didn’t give 5 starts.

The hotel is in good location. The breakfast and dinner is good with many choices. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy (little small) but we did not mind because we hardly spent any time in our rooms.
The rooms were very nice with all the amenities that you could need. It was great being close to the shuk and the old city. Location was great but staff was extremely rude. The room size was good but the bed were very uncomfortable and blankets were too small for single person. We stayed here for 3 days and I barely slept due to uncomfortable bed and loud noise in the hallway/rooms. Location of the hotel is great and you can take the bus outside of the hotel to the Damascus gate which was quite convenient.
Great! Best view, poor breakfast, very friendly employees! Very good shower!
This journey was not just a physical journey. It was a pilgrimage of the soul. I walked ancient streets, touched stones that had heard prayers for centuries, and prostrated myself in places where heaven met earth. Each step in Jerusalem was like leafing through a living chapter of the Bible—but not as a reader… as part of the story. On the Via Dolorosa, I felt the weight of the cross. Each stone...
Amazing location. Yes, the hotel does look a little worse for wear on the outside but the rooms are clean, the bed comfy, and the internet is fast — everything we needed. Breakfast is not extravagant but has the essentials that we were satisfied with.

Great location - very nice hotel. Easy access to the city. Staff was excellent. Food service very good and a great bar. Would definitely return and we do recommend staying here. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed. Bath and shower very good as well
Nice hotel, and convenient location I spent the Shabbat in the LS hotel and enjoyed the hotel very much. Since there were not many businesses open, they (Reme, I think, but my spelling could be wrong) offered me breakfast that I didn't reserve. The staff were very friendly, greeted me wherever I saw them.
Modern hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants (but they are not next door). Pleasant sitting areas on first level; friendly staff; comfortable beds. Rooms and bathrooms are small. I stayed here for the David project because our flight got cancelled so we had to stay an extra day in Jerusalem.
