Where to stay in Jerusalem

A basic hotel, with a low maintenance level. For example, the TV and the safe in our room did not work.. Breakfast was good and the location is good: next to the light train and within a 20 minutes walk to the Old City.

Sadly, I thought the customer service was lacking. Our room did not match the picture advertised. We were very disappointed. And although the room was changed we strongly suspect it again was wrong as again nothing like the picture advertised. Hotel was spacious and perfect for our large group. The buffet breakfast and dinner option an excellent way to start and end the day. The gym, pool, sauna, steam room are a bit outdated but still great for using.

The meal hall is set up in a very chaotic manner, people walking all over eachother to get to items and we often found ourselves having to search for cutlery. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the indoor pool was nice as well, especially since it is open until 9pm.

The room was ok, but cleanliness needs to be maintained, and some staff needs to be trained in how to greet and smile at the guests when they are on duty. Food was good tho.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff are great. The location was also excellent. On the downside, it’s more suited to families, very busy and loud and the pool was chaotic. Also, the spa staff were a bit unhelpful so we didn’t bother. Felt a little over priced compared to the quality of the other places we stayed at during our visit to Israel which cost less.

As part of a tour, this hotel was in a good location. We loved the elevators. You could select the floor prior to entering the elevator and system would take you directly there. Administrators, front desk, staff, and caretakers were helpful going above and beyond to make my superfast and very tight-schedule in Jerusalem possible. Rooms were neat, clean, and pre-cooled - good for instantly sleeping in my case. I couldn't go for breakfast due to time constraints but the lobby smelled so nice that I have no doubt whatever was inside was amazing! (P.s. 80% of taste is smell)....

We had afternoon tea to celebrate a family graduation. Unfortunately the afternoon tea itself was a little underwhelming. The scones and cakes were good and the sandwiches were OK. Was there for a breakfast celebration. This hill top is not just historically important for the jewish people, it also has a view of the Temple Mount with panoramic vies if the old city amd modern extension of Jerusalem.

Overall, my stay was good. Great wifi, comfortable bed, and decent shower/bathroom. Food was okay as well. Elevators are fairly small, but stairs are easily accessible. Sink pressure works great and service was excellent also. The shower temperature is very sensitive though. It may not be the nicest place ever, but I did not have any major complaints.

Wonderful stay in a great section of the city. Just a 15 minute walk to Jaffa gate, and situated between lovely gardens, shopping, and restaurants. Extremely family friendly. Small hotel in the center of the city. Small rooms but reasonably clean and maintained. My only issues are the lack of free parking. The hotel has a small parking garage where you are charged ₪50.00 per day.. oh well Breakfast was good coffee machines etc. Staff is friendly. Amazing location with multiple time for Holy Mass. We were able to make a 6:30pm mass after a long day of sight seeing in Old City Jerusalem.
