The staff was very kind, and the check-in went smoothly. The rooms are good and clean, but the walls are a bit thin, so in the morning it was a bit noisy. I liked the breakfast, but there was no meat at all (but there were eggs, fish, shakshouka, and sweets, so it was bot bad). Overall, I think it was totally acceptable for the price.

I brought my birthright trip here. Not only were we robbed by the staff, there were thousands if room issues. There were leaks in the ceiling that was solved with a bucket, they removed drains from bathtubs rather than fixing the plumbing. The desk staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. The key cards to your room can open every other door, that is if the locks actually work. Instead of a three bed bedroom they give you a sofa. They served raw chicken for dinner. I could go on and on. You literally couldn’t pay me to stay here, find another hotel.

We arrived late in the evening after 23:00 on Sunday April 2, 2023. The gentleman at the counter did not speak English at all. I used Google translator to tell him this, but he kept speaking Hebrew without using a translator. He finally called someone who spoke some English.
The English speaking person that he called told us we had to pay again, and a higher rate than what we paid online for the room. We respectfully let him know that we already paid online. He told us that the websites don't pay him, so we have to reach out to the website and ask for a refund to get our money back and that he is going to charge our credit card. He also told us that the rate is 70% more than what we paid.
We told him No Thank You and let him know that we are not going to do this and that we expect a room at the correct rate. We payed 104 Euro online and he was trying to charge us 175 Euro.
After some conflict and debate he understood that we were not going anywhere and expect the room at the rate we already paid, we came to a compromise. It was almost midnight at this point.
Obviously this is not the best experience at check-in.
The next morning there was an English speaking person at the front desk who apologized about our experience and let us know that the correct rate is being used and a receipt will be emailed to us.
No receipt was emailed. We are keeping an eye on our credit card to see if any charges come up..
Also, the pillows are terrible, the hallways need some serious cleaning, and some of the staff smoke in the dining room. The water that was in the lobby for drinking had rotten fruit in it and tasted so awful I felt sick after. When I told the nice gentleman at the counter in the morning about the water at 08:00 it was still there when we checked out at 11:30..
Overall I give this experience very low marks.

It was an ok hotel, but the bathroom was annoying. The shower flooded easily and we didn't get good towels but had to ask. Toilet paper was also a question. It was like they tried to be a good hotel but it was just decent. The chef was very good though 😊👍

Good value for money. Very good and a lot of food for breakfast.

The location is excellent, the rooms were spacious enough, and the staff were by and large very pleasant. The breakfast was also great.
But I really wanted to leave an honest review here because they have suddenly changed the pricing for this hotel. If you see a ton of great reviews, be aware. When we stayed at this hotel a month ago, it cost about 250nis a night - around $70, which was a GREAT price for a central location. And for 250nis, with breakfast included, you forgive a lot of sins.
Now they seem to have jacked the prices up to 500-600 nis (depending on if you want breakfast), literally double what they were. And I have to be honest, this isn't a great hotel. Not all the rooms have bathtubs (we had 3 rooms, and only one had a bath), not all have easy chairs, and the rooms were all underheated in the middle of the winter. The hotel provides a small space heater, but it's not enough to get the entire room warm. The windows don't close well, so there was a lot of cold air coming in.
Plus, half the rooms face onto a pub where people are partying late into the night. With modern windows, this probably wouldn't be an issue - I've been in some lovely hotels in downtown areas where you were sealed in and the outside noise didn't matter - but in this case, our rooms were all very loud all night.
I feel like this hotel deliberately kept the prices low for a while to get great reviews. And now they've jacked the prices up, hoping to cash in. For the prices they're charging now, you can definitely find a better hotel in central Jerusalem. I don't recommend you stay here unless it's truly a bargain.

Staff had "no-service" attitude. Room Was large, but dirty: Old tissue on bathroom floor, spilled instant coffee on desk. Dining room floor sticky, staircase between ground floor and dining room filthy. Elevator broke down Saturday morning , repaired only Tuesday morning - nobody cares.

Stayed three nights was modern hotel. It must be understaffed, had to depart at 5am and there were no staffembers had to let myself out and left a note

The location of this hotel is great. It's a bit noisy outside. There is an Irish bub on the other side of a narrow street where music from 90s is played till late so forget about en early night. Breakfast was excellent. A lot of good food.
