Hotel Fiera in Bologna

On the second day, when I went to my room in the evening, I discovered that my door was open. Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but the door handle was broken, and it was impossible to lock the door. As the hotel was complete, I had to spend a night in a room that could not be locked, before getting a new room the following day. When I asked for compensation for my bad experience due to the staff breaking the lock during cleaning, the receptionist laughed at me.

Conclusion: If the staff puts your belongings in a situation where they could be stolen, do not expect any remorse from them. In particular, someone left the door open after getting into my room (probably for cleaning), realized that the door could no longer be closed, and left it physically open for the day.

Horrible place, from mold in the bathroom to the staff gaslighting you. We were promised the spa would be for just us. we even were given a little tour. then he closed the door and within 10min people would be starting to walk in. then when we walked out and called reception from our room he just dropped the phone and his manager came over and told us we made it all up and never was promised to us private. then straight up just hang up on us. Very rude staff!!! would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We choose this hotel for the 2nd or 3rd time to stay overnight, because it is close to the highway (on our way south) and had an excellent service and nice rooms before. This year was for sure the last time we spent here. Drunken people rummaging in front of the entrance, our floor was a complete mess (construction area) and our room was somehow shabby. However, the guy at the desk was really nice during check-in.

The hotel itself is okay with friendly staff and clean rooms, but the location is in a really unsafe area. There are always groups of men loitering around the entrance to the hotel and will harass women as they walk past. The surrounding area has a lot of abandoned buildings. I felt very unsafe staying here, and recommend female travelers to stay closer to the city center or south side of the city.

We stayed one night after a long journey and I haven't slept worse.. Outside the hotel there was a panic, from 5 o'clock in the morning the commotion was unbelievable, we couldn't sleep, it doesn't have air conditioning and we ran out of the hot and despite all that we could open the only window it had because the mosquitoes would eat us.. the tv didn't work, the toilet was very small with no window and ventilation..
even the cheapest toilet paper they found they put because as soon as you hold it it disintegrates in your hands, one of the worst places and hotels, and we paid 80€ for this bad experience, if they told me to go again for free I wouldn't go. .Don't make the mistake of choosing it.. the only positive was the receptionist, and he spoke good english..
