Great bed very comfortable. Loved the shuttle service to the town center (book ahead on site). Terrace food was SO good!! Convenient access to the train station too.

Loved the amenities including the pool, sauna and salt room. Didn’t really know how to use the ice room.

Spa services needed reservation days ahead such as manicure pedicure massage so didn’t get any (also quite expensive)

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations after traveling from the US for 36 hours we couldn’t wait to get to our room since we were traveling with our 2 year old. Vittoria at the front desk and her co worker couldn’t have been sweeter to our daughter at check in. They were super friendly and even gave our daughter a toy to play with. The room is super and the view is spectacular do yourself a favor and stay here on your visit to Milan. 🫶🫶

Amazing rooms, breakfast is a buffet style and you can order omelette or other eggy things. They offered to make us a packed lunch for our coach tour to Como but we declined as we were leaving at that moment. Staff were great and the rooms spotless.

Great hotel and very convenient as we are traveling around Italy via train. Breakfast options although not very extensive it was delicious

This is our second time staying here, and it's been wonderful! The location is hard to beat, so close to Milan Centrale and it's where most of the day trips meet in the morning. Our kids love the pool and the gym, a good way to spend the late afternoon after all the sightseeing and shopping. The shuttle bus service has also saved us a lot of taxi money and time. Definitely a hotel to recommend to those coming to Milan!

We stayed at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia Milan for four nights. Chiara, Gabriel at the front desk have been super friendly and helpful. Veronica from Guest Services was amazing. All staff always try their best to help and accommodate no matter how busy they are. The breakfast is very good. Location is very central and super convenient. Will definitely be staying at the Excelsior next time i am in Milan. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is excellent and everything was very clean. The reception area is beautifully designed and gives a luxurious first impression.

We arrived at 4:30 PM, but unfortunately, our room (Atelier Suite) was not ready yet. Check-in is officially from 3:00 PM, so waiting 30–40 minutes was disappointing—especially for a 5-star hotel. This was actually the first time I’ve experienced something like this at a luxury property.

Originally, I considered giving fewer stars because of the delay. However, the kind lady at the restaurant offered us complimentary coffee and drinks while we waited. That thoughtful gesture made up for the inconvenience.

The room was very clean and spacious, but the minibar only had drinks—not really snacks or chocolates. Also, the tables had visible cracks, and the room had a poor view, facing a wall in the corner of the building.

On a positive note: the staff were very friendly, and the valet parking service was truly exceptional. They even brought the car right to the entrance, fully ready to go. It made the experience very smooth and pleasant.

As a lovely surprise, the hotel provided a small birthday cake for me, since my birthday was a few days after the stay. Thank you again for this thoughtful touch—it really meant a lot.

Breakfast was also good, though I didn’t enjoy the omelette and scrambled eggs. They tasted artificial, almost like they came from a box or bottle.

In summary, I would rate this hotel 4.1 stars. But due to the amazing valet team and small thoughtful gestures like the birthday cake, I’ll round it up to 4.5. I would stay here again—provided I don’t have to wait an hour or two hour for my room.

What I appreciated most during my stay was the spacious room and the outstanding valet service. These guys truly elevate the overall experience and make both the hotel and the car part of the luxury.

Great location, amazing staff, modern facilities

Great 5 stars hotel just next to the central Milan train station. I highly appreciated the shuttle bus services back and forth to the city centre which solving all my transportation issues.

The rooms clearly need renovation. Carpet and bathroom junction are worn out, old. That being said, the rooms were clean and the service was excellent. Fabio checked us in, explained a map of Milan beautifully, upgraded our room twice (we only had Gold status). And even gave us complementary breakfast. There was an issue with complementary breakfast (which was good, especially the a la carte items), where staff apparently had not talked to each other so we were told we didn't have it. But the staff handled it well and we had no issues.
We were celebrating our anniversary and a bottle of prosecco and lemon pie were waiting for us (i had emailed). Overall, very nice experience! I would come back.

One bummer was that the terrace was closed due to a private event. That wasn't nice.
