All hotels of Capri have a compromise. The location is smack in the middle of the main town, but I would stay on the coastline next time, unless you are planning on shopping. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel La Scalinatella. I will return here next time I visit Capri. Room 62 had a great seafront view, and a comfortable bed. They have very attentive and friendly staff working here, and most importantly a good quality and diverse breakfast menu.

This hotel was perfect for a 5 night stay. It has a shuttle from the port $7 per person. Which Capri is limited on taxis and quite frankly taxis are expensive and not super friendly. The hotel also provides free shuttle to and from the city center which saves you at least $25 each way from the hotel each day. We booked our double room with sea view via booking.com at Hotel Weber Ambassador with breakfast included. It was a walking distance down to the beach. They also offer pickup shuttle from and to the port with fees. We stayed at La Residenza for the last part of our honeymoon and wish we got there sooner! Everything about the hotel is class and is in a perfect location in the heart of Capri. They even upgraded us to a suite upon arrival. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Very nice view of the hotel and traditional decor, but it is overpriced for what it offers. For a latte macchiato you pay 12 euros, which was not really reflected in the quality. The service in the caffe was also not very accommodating. Whether this applies to overnight guests, however, I can not evaluate.

Came for drinks before dinner. This place has unbelievable decor. The view is outstanding. The drinks are pricey at about $30 each but they do give olives, nuts, and chips which are delicious. The chef brought us some special sides as well which was unexpected but absolutely delicious. Looking forward to coming back.

Historic luxury hotel along cliff with romantic atmosphere and excellent service. I have surprised my wife with a Stunning and charming sea views studio with traditionally elegant style. Everything was above all of our expectation for three night in Sep 2019. But be aware, everything here is pricy but you got what you paid for.

Nice clean hotel, the floor has gorgeous tiles but floor can be cold. No bed room slippers provided. The bathroom has no counter only a pedestal sink. The room has little soundproofing. We stayed here for 2 nights in April and loved it. Totally worth the extra $$$ to get a room with a sea view. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The rooms are quite comfortable, including well-provisioned bathrooms. The hotel includes a large pool that's illuminated in bright colors at night. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged transport for us, gave us detailed walking directions, and recommended excellent restaurants off the beaten path.
