The waiter was very pushy about the tip in a rude way. He mentioned sarcastically, "The tip is NOT included" I am a tour boat captain in Florida. Our community is tour based, and most rely on gratuities. Usually, even though not the norm here I'll leave at least 15%. It's tough work. I get it, but don't get pushy . It's very rude. Wonderful service and food. A very luxurious experience! We were met off the ferry in Capri and pampered with Prosecco and breakfast while our room was being prepared. Stayed here in September 2025 Loved it, definitely a go to every year!! Retro style, felt a bit 'old' but super accommodating and felt like a family run hotel, comfortable, non pretentious. Overall good experience but the hotel could use a renovation. The service was great, so can’t complain about that. The breakfast was OK. The location is a quick walk to food and shopping. For the price this is a good option but don’t expect it to be a five star hotel. Do not try to walk to the hotel from the port under any circumstance with luggage.

Antonio Nocera, the hotel manager welcomed us and helped me when I wasn’t well. Motion sickness from a boat cruise left me weak. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the patio of this beautiful hotel! Highly recommend because of the view and outstanding attention. In a time when there’s so much self-service, this place was a treat!

We had an amazing stay here this past week! We arrived from Positano, took the ferry to Capri. The hotel is just across the street from the ferry and extremely convenient to get to. Even without any porters and several bags. You just walk up a small hill to get to the front entrance. The view from the Terrace restaurant where there is breakfast in the morning is it beautiful and overlook the port....

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of September 2021 and had a wonderful experience. I met the owner who was sitting in his office with his adorable dog San Felice and we discovered its a family run business and the owner and his son are almost always on site. Beautiful and reasonably priced hotel on Capri. After taking a quick taxi ride from the marina, it was a simple 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff identified a wonderful restaurant for us. I will look here first the next time we go to Capri.

Stay here !!! Just an amazing property !! The room, the staff, the food , the view all outstanding !!! It’s about a 5 minute walk from the square which we liked it made for a very peaceful experience.
