Reviews
The rooms were very clean and specious the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter left her phone in the Taxi one day and the front desck receptionist Elisa went out of her way to find it.
Carlo is another receptionist at the hotel and I can’t tell you enough about his warm and friendly personality. He helped us with planning day trips and gave us really good suggestions.
Overall I think this hotel is 5 star and more.
Because it’s small it’s more personal and cozy, plus the location is so perfect and close to town center. I will for sure stay there next time.
There is nothing in Florence that compares to this beautiful hotel with respect to quality & price.
we came from a long journey and quite frustrated from previous hiccups in our trip. As soon as we stepped in, Claudia welcomed us with a very warm and hospitable smile, made us feel like home and as if she was welcoming back old friends. Truly 5*.
Room was elegant and spacious, very well cleaned, Housekeeping also really good.
Breakfast could use some improvements, (add Nutella) but this didn't take away from the hotel's charm.
Everyone was very friendly throughout and made us feel very welcome. Great job guys!🙏
The rooms and rooms are beautiful. Looks very luxurious and clean. They got a bunch of sitting areas where u can sit and just relax.
We were give a free upgrade upon arrival and the staff are very courteous and pleasant.
Breakfast was a treat. Plenty of variety from cheese, pastry, meats, and quiches.
I just wish they had a bar to serve drinks to really enjoy the nice rooms to relax while sipping cocktails. Not a show stopper though.
Would highly recommend for those looking to relax and enjoy Florence.
This exceptional hotel is a hidden gem (luckily for us!). It is located in the heart of Florence very close to all attractions yet quiet and away from big gatherings and crowded areas.
The hotel is an old 1860 Palanca family house that was previously a 3 star hotel. The hotel went through full renovation and what a MASTERPIECE 5 star hotel it became.
We had the master suite which is reasonably priced. The room features the original ceilings of the house (hand painted 😍😍) and lots of previous century architecture features.
The furniture is very Scandinavian and minimalistic yet powerful and makes a statement.
The Scandinavian influence can be seen across the whole building, the designer chose Scandinavian because it connects well with the history of the house.
We were welcomed by the staff who were nothing less than perfect. They demonstrated what the true meaning of hospitality is. Helpful, kind, welcoming and want to assist in any way they could to make our stay unforgettable. And boy, oh it was a stay to remember (our last 2 nights of our honeymoon).
The bar area (and the music room attached to it are magnificent) both feature also the original hand painted ceilings with big windows and beautiful fishbone floors (which are also featured in all the rooms).
If you fancy a drink, the drinks are AMAZING accompanied with the homemade snacks.
To Dimora Palanca team, thank you so much for your hospitality, for having us stay in your hotel and for the amazing unforgettable experience we had. ❤️
We will be coming to visit again for sure.
