I loved everything about the room: amazing suite with ton of space, (very) high ceilings decorated with a XVII century fresco, a renovated bathroom with a huge tub as I requested. Staff were very attentive and kind. Delicious (included) breakfast with unlimited drinks. The hotel is steps away of the Cathedral, the train station and various landmarks. Plenty of nightlife in the old town but no noise at all in the room.

The Panoramic Suite and Triple Deluxe Room are perfect for three people, and the location is wonderful. I definitely want to come back here again!

First piece of advice dont rely.on google maps - get a map from the tourist board which if you are going in the right direction, you will pass. Hotel really is only a 7 minute walk from the station and once in the right road, easy to find. Take the lift to the 1st floor whete a charming woman, or equally charmig gentleman will greet you. We had room no.1 which had beautiful 16th century frescos on the ceiling and walls. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom with its quant "pull out wrsp around" shower. Breakfast was typical Italien, so sweet. It was served to your table and consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, pastry and slice of cake with a choice of hot drinks. 2 very good restaurants on the doorstep. Overall an excellent stay and highly recommended.

Excellent service and rooms are very clean. The breakfast is traditional Italian food and drinks. 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Highly recommend staying in a room with a painting on the wall or ceiling.

Loved my stay here. Only complaint was that the rooms were a bit hot with no AC. This wasn't the fault of the hotel, as they made it clear there was no AC. Just something to keep in mind. Rooms were clean, and staff were some of the nicest I've ever encountered at a hotel. Would highly recommend because of the staff alone, but the location was also lovely, and the rooms had everything I needed

A nice place - the single room is tiny and feels a bit like a prison cell. But the room is very clean, tidy and the shower and the toilet is super tiny, but very tidy with nice fittings.
Location is fantastic, 6 min to the Main station and 6 min to Piazza Duomo.

I tried to like it, but...
Well, first to the positives: Hotel Burchianti is situated right between S.M.N. train station (Firenze's main station) and the historic center. Plus, the staff are friendly and helpful, and their English excellent. Breakfast is also good for Italian standards.
Not so good: It's a bit difficult to find at first...
Bad: My room. Unfortunately, I cheaped out on this booking, which meant that I was stuck in Room 9 (the prison cell-like room you see in some other reviews). Including no window view at all, and the window wasn't even that useful for letting in fresh air. The mattress was pretty worn, too, and everything was quite small, especially the bathroom. No hotel freebies, but a typically-priced (read: overpriced) minibar. You also heard everything going on in the corridor. To conclude, not 3 stars at all!
On a side note: As a German, I enjoyed "beer" being on the list of "soft drinks" on the minibar price list.

However, the next time I will visit Firenze, I will most probably go for another place, as I just can't bring myself to like a hotel that has rooms that seem to range from "slightly improved prison cell" to "renaissance castle bedroom" in quality.

Beautiful stunning boutique accommodation with amazing quality service. Each room is different and special. Superb service and amazing breakfast. Recommended!

Amazingly friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Rooms with frescoes are totally beautiful. It's like waking up in a gallery. very close to the city center. Had a great stay there.

The hotel has a perfect location - between train station and main areas of attractions. Occupies an old building but equipped with all necessary technical means. Lift, perfectly working appliances and plumbing in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent Breakfast, great bed linen, cleaning every day. Internet is stable, in the evening slows down somewhat, but not to the "falling out". Tea, coffee, water available around the clock. A very warm atmosphere.
