Grand Hotel Adriatico, Florence1 / 50

Florence, Via Maso Finiguerra, 9 🧭 Map
Location is okay, but need 15-20 mins walk to the attractions. However, it is near to train station, abt 5 mins walk. Room is clean, everything is good.
It's quite good Many restaurants around And self service laundry
There is a laundry shop right next to the hotel if you need, which is also very convenient. Plenty of dining options steps away, I would recommend the Maso, which has an extensive variety with reasonable prices
Overall, it's not a terrible experience. However, the rooms are very dated, and the service is definitely not up to a 4* standard. The area is a little dodgy but is in walking distance of the town centre
Good location. Love the spacious comfort room . Room had 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Very spacious toilet . Generous toiletries. Breakfast served from 7am. Friendly hotel staff. Highly recommend
The hotel is very well located: literally 5 minutes walk from the station, but in a quiet place. Breakfast is rather weak for a hotel of this class, everything else corresponds to 4 stars

Lovely traditional decor throughout the hotel. The staff made a repair in our room with no issues or questions. Having such a great hotel room to return to each day was an important part of enjoying our stay in Florence
Excellent location - walking distance from the train station and most prominent attractions. Professional, friendly, English-speaking staff. Outstanding breakfast with a beautiful view (be sure to go on the terrace)
They also have a top floor restaurant which we didn’t try but looked quite sharp. The room had everything we needed and more, and the photographs inside the hotel were loaded with history and beauty
The breakfast room on the 5 th floor has fantastic views and lovely food. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my Italian holiday
This place feels special from the moment you walk in. It had a delightful terrace with some of the best views in town where you can have drinks at night and breakfast in the morning
Absolutely beautiful hotel close to the sights. Beautiful rooms with plenty of space and complimentary water, soft drink and tea/coffee plus milk sachets

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A huge plus for a European hotel was the excellent air conditioning in our room. There were a couple of tiny hiccups
The Wi-Fi, which was excellent for most of our visit, cut out on our last morning, though in fairness, I had used a lot of data. Also, the TV in our room wasn't working
Honestly, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, pushing us to spend more time enjoying the beautiful city around us. Overall, I couldn't be happier with our choice
Everything was excellent, flawless really. We got a big cozy room and the breakfast had a wide variety of foods. The location is great, as it's close to the train station
A fantastic stay at Hotel Machiavelli! The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to all the major attractions
We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony that had a stunning view of the Duomo, and a full moon made it absolutely magical for photos

this hotel was truly a gem to come too! Spacious, centrally located, EXCELLENT and attentive staff, and just 10 walk from Firenze SMN station. Simply the best and I will book here again on my future trips to Florence
This truly is a 5-star hotel, exceeding expectations in every way. The property is stunningly beautiful and impeccably clean. The service was exceptional, with staff demonstrating genuine kindness
It may be worth asking about that when making a reservation. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lovely rooftop patio where you can dine and enjoy the amazing city views
The hotel's location is ideal. We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond with thoughtful surprises and gestures
The hotel retains all the splendour of the original family's palace residence, complemented by friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble
I stayed at this beautiful hotel in Florence two years ago, and my experience was absolutely unforgettable. Upon check-in, the receptionist, Francesco, warmly welcomed me and went above and beyond by upgrading my room

Florence, Via Della Scala 7 🧭 Map
Hotel is well located in central Florence with easy access to all major attractions/areas of interest. The room was spacious with a recently renovated bathroom, which was appreciated
The hotel offered great accessibility to the city. It was near the main train station, which made traveling convenient, but not too near to the busy areas. The hotel is in a quiet street 50m away from the nearest square
Fabulous hotel in superb location. We really couldn't ask for more. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the pool was fantastic - very much needed in the hot temperatures as was the air conditioning in the bedroom
Food was great, although the menu remained constant for breakfast for our 5 days stay. Rooms are functional, artistic but not luxurious, we could not find an iron or an iron stand for example
You wouldn’t not imagine yourself staying full day in the hotel, which is nice as this invites you to explore the city. Room furniture is not super comfortable, but our room had nice terrace
Didn't get to try the outside terrace or rooftop bar due to the poor weather but looked like they would be a lovely place when the sun shines. Delicious breakfast with good choices

Then there is the most dynamic group of concierge professionals you will find in Florence, who not only have a pulse on everything and anything you need, but happen to be a group of gentlemen that you enjoy their company just sitting and talking about life, as I so thoroughly enjoyed every single day of my trip Bottom line… The Westin Excelsior is indeed a 5+ star hotel that I hate to admit it, has...
A beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence. The room was amazing and the surroundings were magnificent. The staff were fantastic and the bar area was amazing with a live Piano play on each evening
During my stay, the hotel was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Half of the entrance was sealed, the lobby became smaller, and the rooftop restaurant with a view was closed
Due to my platinum status, I was upgraded to an Arno view room, and I must say everything about it was stunning. The room, the view and the little touches that the team has put into making our stay memorable
They have a chef who makes the most fantastic omlettes, and the stocking of the buffet breakfast is done maticuloulsly. Our go-to hotel from now on when we will inevitably return to Florence
We had a few drinks at the bar and the service team were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good as well, they had a small section of Asian food, which is quite rare in Europe

One thing to note: after taking the elevator to the guest floors, there are still a few steps to climb—so it might not be the best choice for those with mobility issues
Excelent location, great staff, a good breakfast. But an excelent price/quality relation. I recomend!!
The hotel has a great location with good service, and it's close to major attractions. However, the rooms are a bit dimly lit, and the facilities are somewhat outdated
2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it. It didn't ruin the experience, but it's a bit annoying for sure
Very convenient location and nice staff. Breakfast is ok even if the organisation and product choice could be improved. The room was simple but ok and clean
Located right in the centre of Florence and within walking distance to the S M Novella train station. Loved our stay, especially the convenient location. Charming historical hotel whose age did not bother too much

Few blocks away from the heart of the center
Staff very helpful and friendly. Reception staff very welcoming. Umbrellas were provided when it was raining. Santa Cocktail Club at the Bar begins at 6:30pm. Tables outside (more for smokers) and a few inside
I highly recommend watching a sunset from the upstairs terrace. We bought a bottle of wine from the bar and brought our own snacks, then spent an hour with the 360-degree panoramic view of the Duomo and surrounding city
Breakfast room is lovely, with a great meals. Roof top is great with views of the Duomo, the piazza of the famous and amazing church of Santa Maria novella. It's a fast, easy walk from the train station
A stunning hotel! Their front desk was very professional and greeted us as soon as we walked into the hotel. Friendly staff and excellent location in the heart of everything! Delicious breakfast and drinks
We much enjoyed two nights stay in the Santa Maria Novella on October 2024 Three rooms in Villa were very spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The hotel itself is lovely, classy, classic but new

Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy, Florence1 / 25

Florence, Piazza Della Repubblica 7 🧭 Map
We have been to Florence before and stayed at the Four Seasons, which is also lovely but not centrally located
The central location put the Savoy, in our opinion, especially when factored with the great service and beautiful accommodation, above that other experience
The staff of the property were each very friendly and helpful, offering ideas for restaurants and places to see, even offering to unpack and then repack our suitcases. We did not encounter one person who did not smile
’ We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom suite which included a large living room, bedroom, and beautifully appointed bathroom. The high ceilings of our room were lovely and the decor of the spaces were lovely
My makeup was placed on a fresh linen. This shows an attention to detail which we have not experienced at our other ‘five star’ hotels’ this stay and it has made a big difference in my opinion of the hotel
Here is where the small details stood out: upon arriving back to our suite I found that each pair of my reading glasses was placed on a small cleaning cloth. Bookmarks were carefully placed in our books

Florence, Via Dei Banchi 2 🧭 Map
Centrally located, beautiful rooms, 2 free waters per day in a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, set in a beautiful room, with art painted on the ceilings!
Charming, historic hotel in the heart of Florence. Easy walk to all the main attractions. Beautiful interior design with amazing views. Very nice, affordable breakfast
Some of rooms are oddly configured since they were put into original villa but al in all a good place to stay
The rooms would benefit from renovation but the hotel itself has a history and a nice soul, and the staff conveys a caring atmosphere
From big (packing up breakfast boxes for us all for early morning departures) to small (loaning some packing tape so I could try to get a suitcase through one more flight) they do it all
As a radical night owl, I absolutely loved it that tea, coffee, and tasty biscuits were available in the breakfast hall 24/7 for self-service

The hotel is close to the train terminal and very quiet. Porter took our bags and showed us to our room in a beautiful annex. High quality furnishings and architecture. The web site doesn’t do it justice
The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom amenities are convenient and practical. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay in Florence. The only downside was the average breakfast
Great hotel for the price you pay. A four star hotel is a fair rating considering the quality of amenities and services. Definitely an older hotel but kept clean and tidy
Just a 5-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and close to the city’s main attractions, this hotel is ideally located
We had a family room (1 king + 2 singles) and it was wonderful. We were here when it was a heat wave 37C outside but the rooms were 20C very nice. The buffet in the morning was top notch
Really close proximity to the center of the city although that comes with a lot of people and noise as soon as you go out the door. The staff was friendly and listened to our requests

Florence, Via Della Scala 1 🧭 Map
Hotels of this style in Europe are not staffed all the time, like in the US. This one had a policy that you had to call prior if you were going to be checking in later than 8pm
Adorable, amazing location, super friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet, great value. Our room was super quiet and dark- able.
The Tourist house was very charming, while the furnishings were old, the price was right and the location was excellent. The bathroom was good to great
When the person came to let us in, they were very helpful and friendly, even though we didn't follow their rules and call ahead
We didn't have a phone, so we weren't able to call. Instead we had to ask a local Gelateria to use their phone
I recommend everyone to go to this hotel, the cleanliness, the punctuality of the delivery room, but, above all, to the point where it is and the price, I recommend to the owners to modernize a little bit the structure.

The reception team was very helpful, providing useful information and answering all our questions with a friendly attitude. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made our stay even more enjoyable
Overall, this hotel offered everything we needed for a comfortable, hassle-free city stay
In the end, we stayed on the 17 Dec 2021 for two nights. On arrival we were greeted with a huge warm welcome and felt completely cared for from beginning to end
The breakfast and room service menu are limited and not worth it. The street side room was very noisy with late night revelers and pedestrian activities. We enjoyed massages at the spa
the spa jets for the foot bath only working on two, ordering a breakfast yoghurt without nuts and recieving it with 2/3 nuts and room wise: the wardrobe door not closing all the way, the mini fridge not being cold enough (personal preference of mince so do take with a grain of salt) and the shower having mild rust on the outside but other than that everything really was amazing

On the second night, it continued, and it was even worse than the first night. I don’t know if I am allergic to the detergent used in the bathroom. I asked the room attendant to flush the shower room
On the third night, it was still the same. Halfway through the shower, I started to have tears and runny nose, and I couldn’t open my eyes. Fortunately, I only stayed for three nights
I’m not sure what someone else that wrote a bad review about the breakfast was expecting but my wife and I were very pleased
Regis Venice, left us with a great impression, we thought that St. Regis Florence would be just as good, but it was not what we expected. We stayed for three nights in a row
Incredible experience and staff. We arrived early and they contacted the staff immediately and prioritized cleaning our room so we could check-in early. Breakfast was delightful and set in a beautiful room on a balcony
Regis Florence was nothing short of exceptional. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the Arno River—a picture-perfect location to immerse ourselves in the beauty of Florence

Moreover, the hotel was also located in the city center. The only downside was the noise coming from the bathroom of the neighbours during their early check out
Hotel reception staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, AC was good, showers and restrooms were good. 11 of us arrived after travelling from the states. There were adults and children 10 to 15
The service and attention to detail was impressive, made even more so by the very reasonable rates. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect for our walking tours. We will stay here next time in Florence.
They made accommodations for all of us and made several recommendations regarding the foods. Everyone got something different and we shared family style. Each meal was prepared to perfection
The food came out all at once (for a large party very impressive) all hot and delicious. The suggestions from the staff was enough fill everyone and also leave room for some delicious desserts

You can walk anywhere in Florence from here! As other reviews have said, yes it can be noisy, however, I feel everything else about the hotel makes up for that. One of the best hotels we've stayed at thus far on our trip
Location- 5 minutes walking distance from Florence station. Breakfast- Simple and decent Cleanliness- It’s an old hotel but the cleanliness is well maintained. We enjoy our two nights here!
The breakfast buffet was great, we were able to refill our water anytime with a machine on the 1st floor. I’d definitely choose to stay here again if I ever come back to Florence

"The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the central market, restaurants and the train station, and can be reached within walking distance
Facilities: A little old, but still in line with Florence Hygiene: Not bad, a little old, but generally clean Service: The service attitude is very good and all questions are answered patiently
Nice hotel. Within walking distance of the train station and just round the corner from the central market. Good sized rooms with plenty of storage space. Only let down was that WiFi is extra.
The hotel is located in the old town of Florence, very close to Santa Maria Novella Station, and within walking distance to major attractions. The hotel breakfast is also very good.
