Inexpensive accomodations in Florence

It happened to be my birthday when I checked into the Hilton Hotel. Even though I hadn't informed them in advance, the hotel still prepared a surprise for me and gave me two bar drink coupons.

The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my luggage and were very supportive during both check-in and check-out

We chose this hotel because it was only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made it very convenient for staying in Florence the night before our flight home

The staff of the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed that they had a shuttle that would take us to the tram to get down to the city center

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

We had a good time at this hotel. Hotel is walking distance to the touristy Florence area and a 15 min walk to the train station. Highlight was them having a nice cozy area on the rooftop with a small pool

Have good facilities include gym, the rooftop pool and bar is the highlight of the hotel, beautiful view of Firenze and sunset, they serve a small buffet with drink for euro 20 on thursday, a must to go

They would call cabs for us any time we needed and addressed any of our needs. My only complaint was that the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses were very thin and you could feel the springs

Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It’s a bit outside of city center so may need a cab if unable to walk 25 min. The front desk staff were always so kind and helpful

Had a constant challenge to get milk and coffee replaced every day! The swimming pool was closed and this was not made obvious at time of booking and felt misled

Her assistance, from providing clear directions to the entrance over the phone, to warmly welcoming us, facilitating our seamless check-in, and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay, was truly remarkable

The breakfast was excellent!! Location was perfect; we took the train in and just hopped across the street. Leaving the next day was also very convenient. We will use this hotel again on our next visit

They held our luggage for about 5 hours before check-in so we could tour Florence without carrying our luggage around. The room was great! The A/C worked extremely well

We stayed only one night, but we loved the hotel. The two ladies in the reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beyond of our expectation. Room was comfortable and clean

The room was much bigger than I expected, the bathroom was also big, the amenities were really on point. To anyone travelling to Firenze, I strongly recommend this place

There is a shuttle service to the centre and back for those who do not wish to walk. It costs around 8€ to get from the hotel to the city center The room is spacious, clean, and feels very authentic

From the moment we had arrived, we were smitten by very helpful (travel agency did not make our reservation clear), knowledgeable (thanks for all the recommendations from where to go and where to eat as a family) and ultimately extremely caring staff

Note that the hotel area is serene and quiet, not suitable if you're looking for a wild time The hotel is right outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet close enough to walk to the center

Finally the staff is awesome very friendly, eager to help. The shuttle service to Florence is nice. Very nearby you have the michelangiolo plaza from which you have even better views of Florence

Absolutely wonderful both the hotel and the restaurant! I booked this hotel for our belated honeymoon trip and my wife and I agree that this is the best place we have stayed at in many years

Since I was badly hurt and unable to leave Florence, I needed to extend my stay. The staff understood my situation and upgraded my room to a more spacious one, which made it much easier for the doctors to visit me

The breakfast was good; the server even came over to ask what kind of coffee I'd prefer. If your budget allows, I'd recommend booking a larger room, as the economy room is truly tiny

Unsure of what to do, I returned to the hotel to ask for help, at least for some ice to treat the injury. The staff were supportive, even though my stay had ended

I was traveling alone in Florence, and unfortunately, on the last day of my planned stay, I sprained my ankle badly on the street

The location is quite convenient, just across the road and around the corner from the station. However, the check-in process was quite slow. We arrived early, but our room wasn't ready, so we went out to explore

The man ( I believe his name was Francesco) was very helpful though! They give you a free drink to enjoy on the patio, which is really relaxing and is beautifully landscaped

The hotel is also near most of the attractions and is about a 15 minute walk to the city center. This is a cheaper hotel so it obviously won't be that great of quality

The breakfast was exceptional, would've been nice if the host would've made the coffee from the espresso station instead of the coffee machine, but other than that our room was clean and the view was fantastic! I would love to come back in the near future

Also had their A/C turned off because apparently it got cool at night so they just said to open the windows. But mosquitos would enter if I did that, so I found that suggestion weird. But a nice stay for a great price!

Fresh towels daily, and in a wonderful old building. Showers could use some anti mildew cleaning. Short walk to train station and short walk to any tourist attraction

My wife and I together with two friends stayed here for four nights on the 20th April. We had two large rooms overlooking the square at the front of the hotel

The location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and most attractions are within easy walking distance. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm room, which was quite spacious and had two bathrooms.

The hostel is conveniently located (Florence isn't that big anyway). The room was very spacious, and I really enjoyed the vibe of guests from all over the world mingling and conversing.

The service was incredibly attentive, and the room was excellent and immaculately clean. This was hands down the most satisfying stay of our entire Italy trip!

theres a kitchen and a garden, kitchen provides free pasta, vegetables, pasta sauce, and many more. bar open 24/7. good place!

The hotel is very close to the metro station and most of the walkable locations, such as the santa maria

Centrally located which makes visiting the city easy. The staff was fantastic! They suggested places to eat that were more local than tourist which was nice

Fisnik, one of the hotel staff replied and checked out the rates for courier service and sent me the relevant form to fill out so that he could send the charger back to me in Denmark, where I lived

It was such a relief to get my charger back again and I am so thankful for Fisnik who has simply been most helpful, fantastic and service oriented

I found the price too expensive and suggested that he just use the ordinary mail and he promptly did that

There was a distinct sewage smell throughout the entire hotel during our stay and there seemed to be a problem with the toilet running constantly. Great places to go for food all around the hotel

The one and only downside to this apartment was the air con, it was ridiculously warm on a night and although the apartment is comfortable it didn't make for a great night's sleep. Other rooms may be different though

Love the location The first time we had a great room, big bed and nice bathroom. The second time, a double bed, made sleeping very difficult. The toilet and shower were down 5 stairs and the sink was on the main level

They even offer an afternoon tea with baked goods for free! The only tricky thing is opening the shower. Also the internet is a bit slow

Strategic location near everything, big and clean rooms, a fantastic all day bistro in the same building, but l'll not come again, as it's very difficult to sleep at nights due to the high temperature in rooms even there are a/c, but centraly controlled keeping the temperature higher than 27-28 C

Me and my partner stayed here in May, staff were lovely, location was great and rooms were clean. Definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast included with a nice array of bread, croissants, cake, yogurt, cold meats

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Staff were so polite and professional, easy location within walking distance to all the main sites. The room itself is simple and has everything you need for a short stay

There is also a beautiful courtyard to sit in and enjoy. Reception is 24/7 which allowed us to come and go easily and felt very safe. Would recommend if you’re visiting Florence!

A Great place to stay, friendly staff (they speak English and Spanish), close to the center 15 minutes walking to The Duomo and 10 minutes ride from Stazione SMN, they have a gran variety of pastry for breakfast, and the room for 3 was comfy

I'm just going to the university canteen which is better than the other that I know of, is also a great place to study; the bathrooms next to the cafeteria are cold and rather ugly, like a subway.

The room is spacious, has a balcony, and the toilet has a bathtub, but the equipment is a bit old. There is billiards to play downstairs. The location is not very convenient

Good location, free breakfast and price is good enough. The owner is very nice, he just don't know how to speak English much, but it's normal in Italy.

You need to take the subway for 40-50 minutes and walk for 5-10 minutes to get to the hotel. Not convenient for tourists without cars

It is a nice place to stay. The owners are all really nice, but the air conditioning was out on my unit while I was here.
