We had a nice stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Florence Metropole. The executive lounge was definitely an added bonus! Just some small pointers that made this stay slightly disappointing. 1) parking costs 10 euro. now you might tell me, bro, 10 euro!!! that's nothing. And you might be right, but still, it just seems like a small way for this hotel to make another 10 euro per customer when the parking...
It happened to be my birthday when I checked into the Hilton Hotel. Even though I hadn't informed them in advance, the hotel still prepared a surprise for me and gave me two bar drink coupons.
Dear DoubleTree by Hilton Florence Team, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful service during my recent stay. Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free. The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my...
We got a small hotel just outside Florence. We booked two rooms, one for me and one for my teens. The room was pretty big, and the bed was great, super comfy and cozy. The room and bathroom were clean too. Just a small thing, my kids' room (403) smelled really bad from the toilet, stinking up the whole room. But we called, and the guy came and took care of it. He cleaned it with some stuff and sprayed...
Reception staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean and well appointed but tea and coffee supplies were not replenished nor were the bathroom supplies. In one room the air conditioning was not working but was quickly rectified when reported. A very nice bar area but very understaffed for the number of residents. We would expect a hotel of this standard to have enthusiastic staff but they didn...
Excellent staff. Rooms are as expected; old and tiny. That is more of a Florence thing as it's a city built on top of several different era ruins from its past. I love it here and I'll come back here. I'm not quite sure about the Hilton Honors benefits though. I have been questioning whether it's worth it so far. Im planning on using my Amex card benefits more going forward

There are cockroaches in the room, the bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work at all, and we informed the staff on the first day, but they still ignored it. Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly. It’s a hollow hotel that’s all show, pretending to be luxurious.
This is the best hotel we stayed in Italy, with amazing attention to details, including room facilities where you will be amazed by the set up of the bathtub, the concierge, Cosmo, who can book you any restaurant in the city and grant you VIP treatment in The Mall Firenza, the doorman’s hospitality is also amazing, plus it is in the center of of city where all the hot spots are in walking distance...
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Cleanliness excellent services professional and kind staff. My favorite hotel in Florence
The location is good, the service is good, and the bathroom is a bit small.
Beautiful hotel, great location
The suite we booked is in Rococo style. It's very beautiful and clean. It has an excellent location. There's also a super delicious dessert shop called Iginio Massari opposite. I've been to Florence many times and this hotel is my favorite.

We only stopped in for a drink after dinner but beautiful hotel, bar and lobby. Can’t speak about the rooms but I’m sure they’re beautiful. Centrally located in Florence on Borgo Pinti. Hope to stay here one day
Perfection - From the moment we walked in to the moment we left you guys knew are name and we’re nothing but polite and professional through out are whole stay! On top of that the hotel was amazing, clean and perfectly located. The hotel is beautiful and the garden is a great place to walk around too. The hotel is a simple 10 minutes walk to a majority of the major sites.
We had an amazing stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The rooms are absolutely beautiful – spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. What really made our stay outstanding, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, professional...
I booked one night through AMEX with an upgrade to a suite, four categories above the standard room, exactly as shown in the photos. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the welcome we received was exceptional. Because the specific treatment I requested was not available, the hotel generously sent many beautiful gifts to the room. The suite itself was extremely luxurious and comfortable. There was...
Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is truly exceptional. We stayed in both a historic room and a newly renovated room—each one was incredible in its own way. The staff is extremely attentive, and the entire property is absolutely stunning. It’s a short walk to the city center, yet it feels peaceful, quiet, and completely removed from the noise. The gardens are gorgeous, serene, and beautifully maintained....

Great, clean hotel in the city with everything in walking distance and allowing one to explore. Bar at top floor was excellent...the bartender knows how to make drinks. A definite must .
Staff was outstanding. Amazing service and very accommodating. Located is a very central spot, tons of things to do that are all walking distance. Breakfast was excellent as well. There is also a very well appointed bar and fantastic lounge area.
This hotel was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The service and attention to detail was beyond exceptional. The staff is professional and ready to help at any moment. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. Looking forward to future visits!
The hotel is a nice boutique hotel. Breakfast is great. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a good location, right next to the old bridge; there are security staff at the door, so it's safe; the hotel is stylishly decorated inside and outside, and the rooms are nice. We booked what seems to be a gallery room. Although the layout is a little small, the facilities are complete and the hygiene is not bad. The room type and layout are classic and retro. Hotel Firenze Number Nine is a true 5-star gem in the heart of Florence. It’s just a 7-minute walk to the Duomo and about 15 minutes to Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Accademia. The location is surrounded by excellent local restaurants away from the typical tourist traps. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They really went above and beyond trying to accommodate...
This hotel is an absolute gem! Staff, in particular Saeed, are super helpful. I normally only stay at larger chain hotels, but after staying at Hotel No. 9 I will look for more brands like this. The entire hotel is very well kept and elegant. The location is great, near great restaurants and shopping. Stay here when in Florence.
It's a bit different from how it used to be, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are well-cleaned. The absolute best part? The Duomo is just a 5-minute walk away, haha! Other spots are also easily accessible. The Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, and getting around to all the tourist sites is super convenient. I'm thoroughly satisfied.
This hotel doesn't live up to its five-star reputation. The location is okay (though Florence is small, so walking distance isn't all that far), but everything else is just okay. The service, in particular, is rather arrogant. They think they're a five-star hotel, so they're full of formalities. For example, they ask you to sit away during check-in and then bring it back after you're done, which actually...
I don’t often write reviews but this hotel warrants one! We arrived in the hotel lobby at around midnight with our two daughters. Overpriced and not worth it. Everything just feels like a constant money grab. First Marriott property I’ve been to where you must sign a bill for every free breakfast. Clearly just trying to get people to tip the staff (tip for self service buffet). Also, butler service doesn’t really mean much unless you want your clothes pressed. Otherwise, you’re getting the same service from the Excelsior across...
If I could give 6 stars.. I would! We just left a total of 7 nights at this fabulous hotel, and I will treasure the memories that we made for the rest of our lives! Easily the best St. Regis we’ve stayed at and one of the most exceptional hotels anywhere. Staying here is every bit as historic and immersive an experience as exploring the city’s landmarks. The rooms are named after Florentine sites, decorated with frescoes and classic furniture yet fully modern in comfort. Because the previous stop, St. Regis Venice, left us with a great impression, we thought that St. Regis Florence would be just as good, but it was not what we expected. The hotel is not far from the train station and various attractions. I didn't take public transportation for two days. The room is quite large and the area is well divided. Excellent service through and through. A hotel that treats its clients like royalty with their attention to courtesy, friendliness and total availability to assist at all times. Very good and considerate staff. Always available. Awesome design and very good lighting and landscaping, albeit a questionable caliber of guests (some hotel guests were staring at me in a way that makes me feel unease and somewhat uncomfortable), but i understand totally it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. I have had the opportunity to try several hotel breakfasts during my travels and the one at Palazzo Montebello did not match the hotel’s standard. There wasn’t much variety. This is a review for a recent July stay at Palazzo Montebello. As someone who frequently travels for work in the US, I was impressed by the professional service at this property, despite it not being part of a major hotel chain and being an independent property. Great location, beautiful rooms, exceptional service. We had an amazing stay during our time in Florence.
This is Florentine service at its best. I was there with friends to celebrate a special day and the staff at the Lungarno were brilliant. This hotel was spectacular, and the owner put a lot of work into makeing it unique it's some of a kind... (you have to visit it, to see what I mean by that! ) The room that we had was only slightly lacking, not the best views and didn't offer a hot water or coffee maker. Amazing restaurant and breakfast service. The reception service is top, everyone is very good, especially Mr. Paolo, always very attentive to making guests feel at home. COMPLIMENTS

Hotel La Gemma was beautiful. Very convenient location and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
The room is small. Although there is a window, it is closed because it is a bit noisy facing the street. The room is stuffy and obviously much more humid than hotels in Milan and Rome. When checking in, they offered a welcome drink but it was charged. It was a bit strange to wait for a long time in the lounge. The overall hygiene is OK. The biggest feeling is that it is small, stuffy and humid.
A beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence.
The rooms are small , is not quite a luxury 5 stars hotel. But location is the best.
The La Gemma is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Staff was very helpful & gave us a nice upgrade when we checked in for our second stay there. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful, and spoke English well. The room was compact, but I personally didn't mind. Stylish interior. Free drinks in the minibar.
The room is too small and the whole hotel smells like toilet. The room also smells like toilet. The location is really good, but if you mind the smell and size, I don't recommend this hotel. The service attitude is good.
The hotel's Wi-Fi signal is very poor. Although the hotel staff is very active in dealing with it, they still can't change this.
The location is very convenient, the service is also very good, and the minibar is free. If you like design and art-type hotels, you can explore it, it’s not bad.

Plenty of space for our family of 4, lovely patio off of the room. Convenient location to the bus stop which connected us to the city center. Breakfast was yummy and had great beverage selection. Would stay again!
The stay and service at this hotel were phenomenal!!! Last week was truly Fantastic. The hospitality and friendliness truly surpassed me. I still feel very relaxed since returning to the Netherlands, and this hotel certainly contributed to that. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to return for my next stay when I'm in Florence.
Exceptional Stay at Hotel Grifone Firenze! Our stay at Grifone Firenze was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel right at home with their friendly smiles and professional service. The staff and crew were incredibly helpful, offering 24/7 support for anything we needed during our stay. The hotel maintains excellent hygiene standards, and every space — from...
The hotel was overall a good choice – clean, nice and comfortable. We stayed on the 4th floor with a beautiful view. The staff were super friendly, spoke English with us and gave us such good vibes throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and quite varied, with plenty of options. Another big plus was the free and unlimited water available in the hotel – very convenient. Location is also good,...
Very nice and quiet place to relax and chill
We had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby...

It is very close to the Uffizi Gallery and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
Ideal location in Florence and easy to find. Breakfast was simple but did the job.
The hotel has a truly artistic atmosphere, and is within walking distance of many famous attractions. The front desk service was excellent, proactively introducing attractions and providing maps. The walkway steps have transparent ramps, making it easy to pull luggage.
The hotel is located in the very center of Florence. There is a parking lot nearby - paid - but very convenient.
Well located right in the city center and buses pass right outside. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety. The streets are very noisy at night and you can hear everything, but that's not the hotel's fault.
The room is very clean, the breakfast is very good, the location is very good, the attractions can be reached on foot, and the breakfast is delicious. The steak in Florence is delicious, almost every restaurant is good
