I was looking for a nice cool place for a drink when I passed by Hotel Bernini Palace. In the hotel lobby, there is the terrific Bernini Lounge Bar. Historical hotel right in the heart of Florence. We walked everywhere during our entire visit. You can get to all the major attractions easily. This is an okay hotel. I was not amazed by it as it was very cold in the hotel room and it was not possible to turn on the heating. The room was a little small. It is however placed very central and there was clean and nice to be. Breakfast was okay, very standard.

This is Florentine service at its best. I was there with friends to celebrate a special day and the staff at the Lungarno were brilliant. I stayed there for 2 days & a night. The place is quite small & cozy.. The room was quite and furniture was clean. Bed& pillows were comfy, clean and got a good night sleep. Bathroom was sparkling clean, shower was good as well. Water Temp was controllable and pressure was great to have a nice massaging effect while under hot shower. Very nice hotel and pool area! Unfortunately the toilet in our room wasn't functioning, but we were moved to a new room the following day when they had availablity. We luckily got a compensation for the first night. Location is quite nice as one would expect to be further from the city with the amazing view, but it's only a 20 min walk to Porta Romana.
