Florence, Viale Ludovico Ariosto 13 🧭 Map
Great location, only 15min walk to Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful rooms, lovely garden and great service. Dog friendly! We stayed for 1 night in 7/2022
Beautiful & clean room. We left before the start of breakfast — our to-go breakfast boxes were already ready by the time we came downstairs and our taxi was waiting for us. Grazie for the great service Horto Convento staff :)
We had a wonderful stay! The location provides easy access to everything we wanted to do but was also a quiet oasis. The staff is lovely!
Stayed here for three nights. Absolute hidden gem and very aesthetically pleasing property. Rooms were clean, with excellent facilities. Open buffet breakfast included in the price. HUDA and RAHA were amazing and made us feel like VIPs. Only downside I could think of is that the rooms aren’t well sound-proofed (due to the fact that it is a very historical building).
This is a lovely hotel in the hip area of the city. There are many wine bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The room is quite spacious except the bathroom that was really compact. Our room had a beautiful view of the pool, trees and the big compound wall covered with foliage. Since it's an old convent the building structure looked very charming. You can see the beautiful roof...

This is such a fantastic hotel. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. It was so quiet and clean with amazing aircon in each room. The building is secure and has a lift. The location is the best! Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for on the best nights sleeps while traveling through Italy for 6 weeks.
We really enjoyed our stay in Florence at Relais Uffizi! It was truly a wonderful room, great breakfast and sitting area, and most of all the accommodating staff. First we needed help maneuvering in Florence during a busy time and they sent someone who walked to our car and drove it for us to the hotel and then parked it (that was special). Next we left over $700, license and money belt in the room...
Very nice and cosy hotel in the centre of Firenze ..... To be recommended !
Great Location. Staff is eager to please. Older building in the center of the old coty
This hotel is a gem. Finding it is a bit tricky, since it is located down a side alley where cars are unable to fit. The place itself is very cozy, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are the best part though... they're very spacious with high ceilings, and the hotel is extremely quiet. Breakfast was great, with an assortment of foods in an intimate room (and the staff members are always willing to...
We enjoyed this hotel very much. It was a little difficult to get to in a car, but it is in a fantastic location for enjoying everything Florence has to offer. The room was comfortable and the service was exceptional.

Just a 5 minute walk from the train station and right smack in the middle of Florence. Easy access to all attractions. Friendly and professional service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet is outstanding and way above average. Aria rooftop bar is magical. Great cocktail program.
My wife and I and other family members were fortunate enough to have spent a few days in Florence on holiday at this wonderful hotel. We were all very impressed with the hotel including the rooms, the service and best breakfast we ever had. All people at the hotel were so very helpful and pleasant. The rooftop bar was a real treat with the wonderful view and again excellent service. We look forward...
This hotel was absolutely lovely. It is well located near the Duomo, shopping, restaurants, etc. It is decorated beautifully. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are nice, but some may be on the smaller side. It may be worth asking about that when making a reservation. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lovely rooftop patio where you can dine and enjoy the amazing city...
We stayed here at the end of our trip and wish we had a longer time here. The room, location, and staff were nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views can’t be topped. The concierge, Michele, was a highlight of our trip! He was incredibly helpful in providing recommendations and helping book excursions. Dimitri, the bar manager, was amazing as well. We miss this hotel so...
The hotel did not disappoint… the accommodations and location were excellent! Everyone was welcoming and helpful especially the concierge Cecilia who assisted with dinner recommendations and reservations along with securing an itinerary and travel amongst the cities in Tuscany. Made our trip more enjoyable and stress free.
We thought the Firenze Palazzo Gaddi was one of the very best hotels in the world. Everything about it was exceptional. When we arrived we were given such a wonderfully warm, special reception. The staff are all amazing, helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spotless with the most comfortable beds of any hotel we have ever visited. And the Presidential Suite has to be the most...

Location was excellent and the staff was great. If you would like a quieter stay do not stay on the top floor with the roof top terrace entrance. However the views there are amazing and cocktails good. Breakfast was decent but convenient.
Loved our stay in Florence. The hotel is central and walking distance to everything. The room was spacious, clean and very charming. Loved the rooftop terrace with the bar. You have a nice view of the city from there. We were able to walk around every day to different restaurants, piazzas, shopping and even a close by laundromat. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s also really close to...
This hotel is very centrally located to Florence’s main sites. The front desk and concierge were helpful at all hours of the day and the interior is very nice and clean. Complimentary water provided in the room and shampoo for the shower, but no other toiletries provided and only one pack of coffee given per day (instead of one for each guest). Negatives would be the shower, which has extra plumbing...
Perfect hotel at a perfect location. Booked last minute and the staff were helpful and efficient. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing. You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel. Since it is so close to the busiest part of the city, you do get some loud noises (Ferrari starting up, tourists yelling outside) leaking into the room, but for most part it was a very peaceful and comfortable...
We just left this wonderful hotel, and I do have to say, they were an absolute gem. Centrally located in the heart of the area, it's a small walk to everywhere. Kudos to every department, from the front desk being so friendly to the freshly baked breakfast bread, Danishes, and delicious breakfast, all up to the housekeeping being observant to all small details. The rooftop bar was a great experience...
Great Hotel, we had a very good stay in here. The rooftop was top notch. As always we ask locals for advice and we asked Mike for recommendations and he told us about La Chicca Boutique Restaurant and we had the best meal of our stay in there. Our stay was perfect! We had this great receptionist to welcome us, she spoke Portuguese which made it even better. Room was clean and spacious. Location is excellent, everything was in walking distance. And the breakfast team is just the best, seriously, we have never been to a hotel with such a wonderful team. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable
This was by far my favorite hotel during our trip to Italy. We got a room with outdoor seating (not really a 'balcony' per se), the bed was large and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was AMAZING as there was a lot of options to choose from - croissants, cheeses, meats, fruits, toasts, all kinds of breakfast pastries, etc. etc.! The cocktail bar was also amazing too - though kind of pricey...
Everything was excellent. Starting from the *exceptional* reception, to the attention from the staff at all points, including trying to fix some issues my mother in law had with her mobility problems. A step above and beyond, to be honest. Breakfast was very good (really, amazing scrambled eggs, the best I have had by far, so good the tray was almost always empty :D). Another good thing... close to...
Because it was a special occasion, we reserved one hour for private use of the spa. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, comfy chairs and listening to relaxing music. We also used their laundry services and our clothes returned that evening...
This hotel is perfect for access to train station/ bus station which was vital as we did not have a car. It is in a great area with a quiet, local feel with some great restaurant choices and bars. I had booked a balcony room but on arrival, our room did not have a view. We mentioned to reception and they were extremely helpful and we moved room early the next morning. Mi fiancé and I really liked it because the staff was truly friendly and the pool was like a hidden gem in the center of Florence. Breakfast was awesome, they do a great job here.
Nice hotel. Very good location, everything interesting is in 5 to 10min walking distance. Nice pool in the backyard, few shade seating places thought. But perfect for hot days. The hotel is old and would need some renewal but overall its ok. Rooms are nice, ours was spread on 2 floors. Parking is expensive (25-35 € per day) but they pick up and bring the car to the hotel entrance. Breakfast was sufficient...
Location and restaurant is great, the room not so much, but then again you are not travelling to Florence to stay in the room that much. The roof top terrace is beautiful!

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are of a high standard and very clean. We were sent here as our flight was cancelled.
My husband and I were traveling through three cities in Italy and Starhotel was our favorite stay. Our room was spacious and packed with all needed essentials. The service was excellent, everyone was attentive and prompt. The hotel is also conveniently located two tram stops away from the train station and a 20-minute walk or 15-minute bus ride to main touristic area.
The staff (including housekeeping) are great, helpful and available 24/7, and the location is pretty good, a short walk from the main station, and right by a tram station with a very regular service that will put you in the train station and main tourist areas in 10 minutes. There are also some very good restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel. However, the hotel rooms and facilities are nowhere...
As a business hotel, they have clean rooms. Very professional service. The best location in the center. Helpful staff, in bar kitchen, reception...everywhere. The good thing is you have an access to the gym where you can find a very good massage chair.

What an amazing stay ! Thanks so much Mirko and Valentina for your help on the whole journey. My friend & I stayed at this VERY central hotel last week, and have had super help from the team. It’s clean, central, nice breakfast & smiling team. Definitely recommending It :)
A very lovely hotel (part of the RoomMate chain) and well located for all the sights. It is about 20 minutes walk from the main train station, 10 from the Central Market and 20 from the Duomo. The hotel is stylish and the staff are friendly and helpful and speak a range of languages. Some of the rooms on the 3rd floor have a view of the Duomo etc. Worth asking for one. Breakfast served until 12
Room & bed were great and location is excellent, just 10min from the Cathedral. Breakfast was a mess as we had to wait 15min before we could order, not sure if it was covid related as they seemed understaffed but that was less professional. Don't have drinks in the lobby, a tiny beer costs 5euro, the same one in the bar across the street is 2euro and has a nicer terrace.
My mom and I did a two-week trip throughout Italy during the second half of January and our experience at this hotel was by far the best. It’s location is walking distance to everything we wanted to see and not close enough to the center of all the attractions where noise and pedestrian traffic would be a nuisance. While the rooms and everything were excellent as one could hope for and expect from...

Fantastic hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is diversified and generous with very nice and tasty food. Would like to thank everybody there for their kindness Luca, Emmo, Nicola, Karen, Dina, and all others which I don't know their names. I recommend it strongly, and would like to stay there again.
Centrally located. Steps from the train station and all the attractions. The rooms were beautiful. Lots of amenities. The service was amazing. The nightly "welcome drink" and breakfast was wonderful. Little gifts with hand-written notes left in the room overnight was a wonderful touch. Will definitely be back. All for such an affordable price too.
Had an amazing stay here! Well worth it. Breakfast was great. Service is equally good. They have Welcome Drinks from 5:30 to 8:30 every day for their new guests 🙌
This is a hotel I will recommend to everyone who visit Florence. The location is great, close to many attractions and the main train station. This was an amazing hotel. The service, the cleanliness, the helpfulness were all fabulous. At the front desk, David and Giovanni were the most wonderful people. Hotel is clean and good location. You can go anywhere from hotel by walk and take a rest and go out again. People at the hotel are very kind.
The hotel was a great location, walking distance to all the sites but far enough away from the busiest parts of the city to have a calm and relaxing experience. We stayed in the small double room which was smaller than expected and unfortunately the one window gave view to the back stairwell. Had we been staying more than one night, I would have asked to change rooms but for one night it was fine...
The rooms where very clean and large, the front desk service was very nice as well, and the morning breakfast was delicious. I have no bad things to say about my stay in this hotel. They even give out free ice cream in the lobby!
Nice room. Clean, safe, and great location. Good breakfast included and the Popsicles for guests were a nice touch when returning to your room after a long hot day of touring Florence and the surrounding area.
Excellent location in the city center and sight seeings. The superior room with balcony is a spacious room just as the walk-in bathroom. We had an very early check-out and we got 2 bags of take away breakfast from the hotel.
I have checked in today - booked 2 rooms. They were in different floors and when they moved us the 2nd room has turned out to be small. They have now offered us a different room with a view. Room does not have coffee or tea, no chest of draws and no cupboards. They have however brought us a kettle with tea bags and cups. They offered us a welcome drink in the evening. Breakfast spread was great.

I was here with the whole family, 5 adults and 2 young kids, and had a great time. Ideally located in the city center, you can park your car (the hotel provides a fairly priced deal) and get it back when you checkout. Highly tecommended, in particular the renovated rooms.

Location is excellent, staff attentive. Beautiful roof terrace that is always accessible even out of season and we could take our own bottle of wine. Staff provided glasses and couldn’t be more helpful.
Good option for a business trip. The main feature is the central localization.
We had such a lovely time during our stay at Torre Guelfa! Large and spacious room, and very warm. The hotel was based in close proximity to all major attractions which was pretty great as we were travelling with baby so we had the pram with us. Breakfast was fab! Lots of yummy food!! The Torre Guelfa is a nice hotel, with a good breakfast, attentive service, and a central location. But, what sets it apart is the "torre" or tower. In addition, they have seating and a bartender. We took advantage of the tower...
