Excellent hotel if your in 20s-30s. Rey modern, incredible vibe, extremely friendly staff. Great rooftop pool and bar. That said, the rooms are TINY and barely fit the bed. The shower is literally 2ftx2ft and I had to T-Rex it. For couples in their 40s+, either get the biggest suite they have or stay elsewhere. If your 20’s-30’s, you’ll LOVE this place!
Great hotel. The pool and lobby were great places to hang out. Two negative points: - the bed was really hard - they advertise a laundry self-service but 3/5 dryers were not working and 2/5 washing machine as well. The dryers that were ‘functioning’ did not dry anything so we had to get out in Florence to find another laundry service that we paid for and took 1-2 hours of our time. I would recommend...
Amazing hotel! Super friendly staff and amazing facilities. The roof top pool and bar was offers a stunning view of Florence. We got an incredible experience for very reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent brand for shampoo and body balm. The ceiling was tall so it feels very spacious. Definitely will come back!
Very nice hotel, there's a lot going on. the room was clean, except for the bed sheet which had a blood stain. the staff is friendly, the only maintenance is very slow. they were supposed to come in 10 minutes, but realistically it took him a good hour to come and look at the electrical problem in the room. very nice view on the terrace with the pool. good cocktails and very friendly service. the journey...
This hotel is a wonderful choice for a comfortable stay, with a great vibe throughout. One of the highlights is the stunning rooftop lounge and pool area, offering breathtaking views of the city. There’s also a lovely café with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the service is excellent. Hotel provides washing and drying machines, which is incredibly convenient. There are quiet...
I stayed here for three nights and was having an amazing time. Appreciate all the staff's efforts in creating such a friendly vibe! The room, the gym, the laundry system, and the rooftop bar are all fabulous. The WiFi connection is great for digital nomads, and the co-working space is super cozy. I specifically appreciate the eco-friendly design everywhere, including the showers. I will miss this beautiful...

1. Location 2. Cleanliness 3. Courtesy In no particular order, these are the top qualities, this hotel has. I booked a 1 night stay on Christmas eve and I was really surprised because for what I have paid (very economical) given it is holiday season, it was beyond expectation. The breakfast was abundant and had lots of options, plus the staff were really accomodating and hospitable. I Will stay again...
This was probably the fanciest place we stayed in Italy. Nice hot shower. They like their twin size beds so you have to push those together if you want to be close to your partner.
★★★★★ Exceptional Service and Care Beyond Expectations! I had an unexpected health issue during my stay at the hotel, and I cannot thank Barbara at the front desk enough for her kindness and professionalism. She went above and beyond to ensure I received the help I needed, arranging for a private doctor to visit me in my room and even organizing the pickup of my medication from a local pharmacy. ...
Room was nice. the shower was awesome. Very wet and humid in Venice when we were there. NO Room AC was not something we expected. Made the visit not as nice as we would have liked. I guess the Italian government mandated the AC restrictions on October 14 across the board. Not the hotels fault by any means, just would have been nice to have been informed.
Lobby and 0 floor corridors leading to restaurants tastefully and elegantly decorated. Restaurants had good ambience, and quality if not outstanding food. Restaurant service quick and efficient but a bit abrupt. Restrooms clean and befitting a 5 star hotel. Rooms were found in dated, narrow corridors showing some age and separated into different wings. Inside the rooms, everything seemed to be in...
Great hotel and room. Excellent stay but if you're looking to do any tours, the meeting place is far and will require a taxi/Uber. Now there is lots to see on walking distance. No complaints about the hotel. Was clean and beautiful

One of the staff members, Yukiko was so friendly and helped us with any questions we had. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was nice and had a good selection. Hotel is right next to the central train station and walking distance to the main attractions.
I had an excellent stay at the Ambasciatori Hotel in Florence! The location is unbeatable, right across from the train station and within walking distance of major attractions. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details like complimentary refreshments and a large balcony offering fantastic views. The breakfast was superb, offering a variety of fresh options, and the...
The experience at C-Ambasciatori Hotel in Florence had its ups and downs, so it’s worth booking with clear expectations. It might be a good choice if you're prioritizing value for the location. Pros: The hotel’s location is a big win—it's within walking distance of Florence’s main sights and just inside the ZTL zone, so getting around is easy. Public transport options like the tram and train are conveniently...
Great location and breakfast. the hotel is next to the train station. I got a single room (one double bed) and the room was spacious. Even though it’s next to the elevator, the room was quiet. It faces the back of the hotel, so no views but also no road noise. The bed was a little hard though. Breakfast was great. The room has air condition.
The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and competent both at the reception and at breakfast. The central location makes it possible to reach the main sights on foot. ATTENTION in front of the building, increased pickpocketing and scammers are to be expected due to the proximity to the main train station.
Amazing hotel. Modern and clean. located in front of the main train station (which can be seen as positive or negative)

Very friendly and helpful staff. My room was pretty large with beautiful design and large bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent in in a beautiful dining room. one minute to rich train station. Just try to avoid walking to Fiume-Nazionale intersection through Fiume. there are garbage cans at the intersection and sometimes smells bad.
Conveniently located near the train station and a short walk to the city center. As part of a Collette travel group, I was split from my small group due to the hotels to buildings. My initial room on the top floor of the main build had unexpected stairs as soon as you opened the door, which I almost tripped down and only a skylight – no window – which made me feel claustrophobic and dizzy. I requested...
This is an elegant, Old World hotel within 15 - 20 mins walk from most of the shopping and tourist areas. Lots of wonderful shops and restaurants close by. The rooms are beautiful with lots of polished wood and marble. But the bed was uncomfortable, and the staff were clearly fed up from dealing with tourists. We did not choose this hotel as we were traveling with a tour group company who booked the...
Nice friendly staff. 1st day we had to leave very early, kindly enough to give us packed breakfast. Large rooms and lovely ambience. Near public transport & the train station · Near the city center; shopping. Convenient and good.
Great hotel. The location couldn't be better, across the street from the train station but tucked away in an alley so you don't have the impression that you are close to the train station. Classic hotel breakfast when it comes to continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. In the room, you get everything you need, if anyone needs a huge TV. Very modern, clean place to stay. Many msjor sites are in walking distance. Light rail literally out front. Staff were all very accomodating.
We booked here last minute on the first day of our honeymoon in florence after another hotel let us down. The reception staff at star hotel were amazing from the moment we arrived. We were warmly greeted with genuine smiles, respected and the communication was brilliant. But When they learned why we were booking at their hotel at such short notice, they turned the dial upto 11!. They are absolute...
Beautiful hotel. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Thank you for a very pleasurable stay at a very “potentially” stressful period (our flights were cancelled) travelling with our 1 year old. Restaurant food was delicious also! Would highly recommend staying and/or eating here. It’s worth it! … and walking distance to the city center.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms are of a high standard and very clean. We were sent here as our flight was cancelled.
My husband and I were traveling through three cities in Italy and Starhotel was our favorite stay. Our room was spacious and packed with all needed essentials. The service was excellent, everyone was attentive and prompt. The hotel is also conveniently located two tram stops away from the train station and a 20-minute walk or 15-minute bus ride to main touristic area.
The staff (including housekeeping) are great, helpful and available 24/7, and the location is pretty good, a short walk from the main station, and right by a tram station with a very regular service that will put you in the train station and main tourist areas in 10 minutes. There are also some very good restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel. However, the hotel rooms and facilities are nowhere...

We didn't stay at this hotel, but wandered in off the square to take a look around. A beautiful mix of modern amenities and ancient ruins, the lobby desk is adorned with 2 massive chandeliers and there are plenty of small quiet spaces to sit with windows overlooking the cathedral (and free wifi!).
Excellent location - walking distance from the train station and most prominent attractions. Professional, friendly, English-speaking staff. Outstanding breakfast with a beautiful view (be sure to go on the terrace). Great service for the room. Lovely traditional decor throughout the hotel. Absolutely beautiful hotel close to the sights. Beautiful rooms with plenty of space and complimentary water, soft drink and tea/coffee plus milk sachets. The breakfast room on the 5 th floor has fantastic views and lovely food. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my Italian holiday. I definitely will stay here again!
This place feels special from the moment you walk in. It had a delightful terrace with some of the best views in town where you can have drinks at night and breakfast in the morning. They also have a top floor restaurant which we didn’t try but looked quite sharp. The room had everything we needed and more, and the photographs inside the hotel were loaded with history and beauty. My wife and I were super excited checking into the hotel… It was extremely nice, and though the room is dark (as I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews), it has an old-world charm that we both thought was great… Not at all a negative. Amazing hotel and an even better staff! Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. From the front desk, housekeepers, bellmen, and restaurant/bar staff! This was a wonderful and relaxing stay experience in Firenze, Italy. The front desk concierge was always helpful, pleasant and very friendly and assisted us with all of our questions about best places to eat, to how to get to the train station and getting us a taxi when needed. The location is in walking distance of the train station and downtown shops. The staff was very attentive to our needs....
Really nice business hotel with very spacious rooms. The lobby has a coffee machine that guests can utilise as there's no kettle or coffee in the rooms. The staff are courteous and were quick to ensure our stay was trouble-free.
Very nice hotel. Clean, tidy, friendly staff, abundant breakfast. You have free coffee and tea all day. Small complaint that water is charged. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. A little work on the bathroom.
The room was a bit noisy because of the tramway line in front of the hotel. The bedroom and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast excellent with quality food. Located near the train station.
The hotel is in an okay location, close to the train station but not too close to the attractions that we wanted to see. The hotel does need a bit of maintenance though especially in the bathroom. Nice size of room. Breakfast was also really good.

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The bar and pool area were fantastic (looks like the pictures). Cleanliness was also good. The only downside is that the rooms and general common areas need attention and are old and worn.
Overall a very good stay, beds are very comfortable and the food & amenities are good. I would like them to upgrade the facilities in the gym and make it a bit more modern. 5 stars!
They had a really good selection of breakfast that came included with our stay. It was probably the best value for our entire family trip. 134 euro with breakfast included. Can't beat that.
It is a clean hotel with rather big parking that made the stay much better because we were traveling by car. The room was very clean and there were amenities like toothbrush, shaving kit, and water. stay in town. we stayed for a couple of nights Dec 21-23. they were doing renovations. So there was no access to the executive level and the rooms & although we seemed to have gotten an updated room it was small and had no view. Personally it was one of the worst Hilton’s I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was terrible and so weak. definitely not Hilton quality status. Shameful
The staff of the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed that they had a shuttle that would take us to the tram to get down to the city center. The hotel is located a bit outside the center, near the airport and they have a free shuttle bus into the center. A clean hotel and friendly staff.

Cleanish hotel, ample parking, however the walls are thin. I could hear the person in the next room snoring. Lord have mercy on him . Also there are no outlets by the bed for overnight phone charging or to plug in cpap Machines etc.
Polite service. Clean and beautiful. Restaurant inside is also very nice and not that expensive. I will visit again!
A very clean, modern and beautiful hotel: clean rooms, good personnel, very good breakfast choice. Easy to reach from "Firenze Rifredi" train station, even by foot, and a 10 minutes cab ride from downtown Florence.
Excelent service, perfect hotel! Comfy rooms and also clean, great breakfast service, can't ask for more... wait! Button srvice! :)
It is a nice place after you figure out how everything works in the room. Not very intuitive use of simple things like the toilet room's door knob and other things (I won't spoil it to you guys. Location is excellent, staff attentive. Beautiful roof terrace that is always accessible even out of season and we could take our own bottle of wine. Staff provided glasses and couldn’t be more helpful.
We had such a lovely time during our stay at Torre Guelfa! Large and spacious room, and very warm. The hotel was based in close proximity to all major attractions which was pretty great as we were travelling with baby so we had the pram with us. Breakfast was fab! Lots of yummy food!! All fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend!! Xoxo
The Torre Guelfa is a nice hotel, with a good breakfast, attentive service, and a central location. But, what sets it apart is the "torre" or tower. The hotel is one of the few buildings in central Florence with its own tower. And, you can take the easy climb up to the top of the tower for a commanding view of the city. In addition, they have seating and a bartender. We took advantage of the tower...

Awesome hotel at a convenient spot. The fact that you can walk to most of the touristic places and avoid any disruption due to closed streets for cars thanks to a parking lot next door is extremely convenient. Also the staff is highly supportive and helpful, Claudia, Simona, July and Francesca made our stay feel like home.
I would give five stars, if there wasn't the shower :/ While the bathroom is big, clean and nice, the shower just doesn't keep a steady temperature. So without touching anything, it goes from warm to burning hot intermittently.
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged to stay at. Just a few steps from Florence city center, NH hotel is an amazing place, with clean and well presented rooms and high quality of service. Front desk was extremely efficient, hospitable and helpful. Highly recommended.
Great place to stay when in Florence. Close to all downtown attractions with large rooms (our even had the balcony with beautiful view) and great all inclusive breakfast (separate charge) and very friendly staff. Got with Amex Platinum hotel credit to use toward dining, etc. Location is one tram stop away from Florence main rail station which is a plus. A block away from the river!

This hotel is stunning! Art lines the hallways, and even the bathrooms feel like historical, artful design. The front desk staff was accommodating and courteous, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The air conditioning in the room never quite got cool enough for us, but we're American, so we knew what to expect. (Bring a fan!) Overall, a beautiful spot in an ideal location along the river and near...
Excellent location for a first-time stay in Florence. An 11-minute walk from the train station and close to major attractions on either side of the river. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was impeccable and breakfast was plentiful. I met some businessmen who have been staying here twice a year for 20+ years, and I can see why. Will stay again.
walkable distance to all attractions. No matter where you visit, take any road in the direction of the hotel and you will reach it.

I like the high room temperature in this hotel. Esp in winter, it’s crucial to stay warm and comfy. I don’t like that there’s no kettle in the rooms. To use boiled water (for drinking or tea), you have to pay 1.00 euro per fill. For a 4-star hotel, it’s a bit disappointing. If the electricity system in the old building can’t handle kettles, then offer hot water downstairs for free.
Rooms: good, but the HVAC systems were wonky. The showers are small squares. The toilet is placed weirdly in the corner; might be hard for some larger persons to use these toilets. Otherwise quite nice; beds are very firm, and the pillows are of a good quality. Service: no major complaints, but no major compliments. Location: not great, but for the price it works out alright. There is a train...
I was thinking for a while whether to stay at this hotel, carefully reading the bad reviews. But I risked it and had a pleasant surprise. The hotel is clean, and the price is affordable. I chose it because it is very easy to get to the center with a tram directly from the station next to the hotel. The rooms are very clean and new. The air conditioning works very well. Now, at breakfast, the variety...
Not a four star hotel at all!!!! We stayed here one night because our flight was cancelled. It was enough to be sure that we aren’t coming back. First, the transfer driver was extremely rude and unfriendly. Second they made us wait 1 hour to get the double room. In the restaurant they refused to give us food (we had a voucher) because according to them the kitchen was already closed. They said the...
Located around the corner from the orange line tram stop of Emmanuel Vittorio II, the hotel is steps away from easy access to shopping, food, and gorgeous scenery. The rooms are clean and bright with plenty of space to relax before or after exploring beautiful Firenze. Hotel Raffaelo is not amidst the bustle of the tourist hotspots so, while access is easy, the location provides plenty of quiet for...
Spend an involuntary night here because BA can’t manage their booking! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was boxy but functional. The bed and pillow were very comfortable, better than some more expensive hotels. Food was mediocre. Location is poor but you could get the tram into town.
