A fantastic stay at Hotel Machiavelli! The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to all the major attractions. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony that had a stunning view of the Duomo, and a full moon made it absolutely magical for photos. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A huge plus for a European...
Saw a lot of mixed reviews before I stayed here on my holiday so wasn’t sure what to expect but was really pleasantly surprised by my stay. Rooms were nice and cool. Bathroom was a little bit small but not really an issue at all. All staff were really friendly and the location of the hotel was ideal as it’s a few minutes walk from all kinds of attractions and restaurants. Also the roof top bar was...
Front office staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storing options was very helpful. Quadrapul room was super big and comfortable. Although one of the cot was a creaky. Front-office staff were very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant options near by. Good breakfast options. About 5-7 min away from the station. Price could be little cheaper.
Conveniently located 1 block away from the train station. The staff is professional and pleasant. The rooms were super clean. Bathrooms are small. The breakfast offered a nice array of options with delicious coffee. Walking distance to many places we wanted to visit.
I have really enjoyed my stay here. Hotel stuff was extremely friendly and made everything clear from the beginning. The room was exactly like in the pictures, although a more spacious shower would've been great. The location was perfect and the windows really covered any noise outside once closed. The rooftop terrace was a nice touch and I found it really nice that they had 2 bottles of water in the...
Perfect location to do some tourist destinations. Rooms were clean and bigger than expected. Staff were super friendly, and I enjoyed the breakfast. Rooftop bar adds a nice touch with a stunning view.

The hotel has a great location with good service, and it's close to major attractions. However, the rooms are a bit dimly lit, and the facilities are somewhat outdated. Thankfully, the bathroom has been renovated with a proper wet/dry separation. One thing to note: after taking the elevator to the guest floors, there are still a few steps to climb—so it might not be the best choice for those with mobility...
It was exactly as you expect 3star hotel to be, a bit worn out, but has it's charm. my room was simple, but tidy. Main inconvenience was the bathroom, although clean, it has two downsides: 1) the shower is quite small and when you get inside the curtain is always sticking to you. 2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it. It didn't ruin...
Very convenient location and nice staff. Breakfast is ok even if the organisation and product choice could be improved. The room was simple but ok and clean
Nice place, excellent location, happy breakfast totally recommended
Location and service is great, especially hostess, but breakfast is really poor and hotel is too old, everything looks so worn out
Room were small, difficult to open big suitcases. However location is exceptional and very try convenient
Pompei ruins and dining within walking distance You could eat off the floors, even in the hallways. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, night when we arrived and the next morning.
Excelent location, great staff, a good breakfast. But an excelent price/quality relation. I recomend!!

It was okay. Room is a bit old and they can improve their breakfast as well. Located near tram station. Getting to city center is easy
Small, old fashioned room. Super friendly staff, and transit nearby. Small washroom. Could use better lighting. Very very weak wifi. Breakfast buffet with lots of option. Overall, budget friendly is what it is. Its not very close to the city so a lot of time wasted commuting from hotel to attractions.
Hotel clean and above average. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the WiFi in the room out of order for the duration of stay.. The location was quiet being next to a hospital and a university. There was good metro connection to the town a short walk away. But no restraunts nearby. We were advised to get our dinner in town before heading home to the hotel for the night
The hotel was very good. Actually it was a way better than our expectations. With air conditioning in the room, it was like a dream when you come from hot humid weather outside in the afternoon. With basic breakfast in the morning we were puzzled in the beginning. Since we were comparing that to the German, English or even American way of breakfast which is like a huge party of food. Later on, we have...
I was here for one night, single room. I can't complain about nothing if not for the coffee. Building is old, but I have not heard bad smells like other reviews said, or had any other problems. The breakfast was excellent (except the coffee)
Convenient Hotel for the location and proximity to public transportation. The staff were kind. Could really be a three star hotel with a small restayling

Stayed here twice. Charming, historic hotel in the heart of Florence. Easy walk to all the main attractions. Fabulous staff. Beautiful interior design with amazing views. Very nice, affordable breakfast. Would highly recommend!
Location is just superb! 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral and 10 minutes walk to Uffizi. The rooms would benefit from renovation but the hotel itself has a history and a nice soul, and the staff conveys a caring atmosphere. As a radical night owl, I absolutely loved it that tea, coffee, and tasty biscuits were available in the breakfast hall 24/7 for self-service. And if all people in the service industry...
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the main attractions in Florence. Second best thing about this hotel is it's history. Look it up. It's an old palace that was converted into a commercial hotel. The service was also very good. They allowed us to leave our luggage both before and after checkout times in their luggage room for free, which was very...

Hotel Paris is a gem in the heart of Florence. Housed in two historic palaces combined into one, it offers a unique atmosphere that transports you back 700 years. The building is rich in character, and the 8EU (Adult) breakfast was a lovely daily treat. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Duomo and within walking distance of so many iconic sights. You’re truly at the center of it all...
It's close to the station and the view from the room was amazing! The room was quite spacious and had a separate bathroom and shower room, as well as two toilets, which was very helpful! The furniture in the room was stylish and I was very satisfied. I was also happy that they opened the breakfast area where we could eat free coffee and snacks, and I was able to enjoy cappuccino and cocoa. The pistachio...

We needed an inexpensive night at good place in Firenze. This filled our needs perfectly. It's located near main railway station, and was just suitable. We had our room straight away when we arrived before noon, nad had opportunity to rest few minutes before heading to town. Room was very plain and small, but clean. One couldn't expect more for this price.
A very quiet place, nothing fancy, but adequate for a few days. The breakfast was basic, without much variety, but adequate. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi didn't work.
Absolute shithole, quite literally raw sewage leaking from the macerator. Internet down for three days. Noisy as hell despite being the only one staying here.
Adorable, amazing location, super friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet, great value. Our room was super quiet and dark- able.
Basic budget hotel, clean & well equipped. Okay for our 2-day stay in Florence, close to station and for sightseeing. Breakfast not really up to much, hoped for toast or ham& cheese rolls.
The Tourist house was very charming, while the furnishings were old, the price was right and the location was excellent. The bathroom was good to great. Hotels of this style in Europe are not staffed all the time, like in the US. This one had a policy that you had to call prior if you were going to be checking in later than 8pm. Charming hotel, quietly located near the city center. Accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious. The staff is charming. Having breakfast in the garden is a real delight.
Great hotel in Florence! 24hr front desk, great breakfast with plenty of options, beautiful green space in the interior, plus nice sized room. Right by a bus stop and park. Mile walk to the Uffizi gallery.
This place is clean with good location, security and breakfast. The clerk was helpful. Only issue was with mosquitoes. There is a bus to the Central train station but it's walking distance anyways. Everything in Florence is also walking duy
Good day, this is one of the best hotel that we stayed in, from the Amazing and Beautiful structure going to the best service coming from Mr. Adriane at the reception and the owner is very Accommodating, our is one of the best in that hotel and the breakfast outside the garden is WoW
The hotel has a lot of charm and the rooms are all unique. It’s in a great location and is close to excellent restaurants and main attractions. We stayed here for five nights while visiting Florence. The hotel is in a good location with a vast array of restaurants nearby, we particularly liked Il Vegano nearby which was terrific value and great food. The hotel is located in the old town of Florence, very close to Santa Maria Novella Station, and within walking distance to major attractions. The hotel breakfast is also very good.
The hotel is in a good and convenient location, but the room is small and old, the surrounding environment is noisy, and the price is expensive
Facilities: A little old, but still in line with Florence Hygiene: Not bad, a little old, but generally clean Service: The service attitude is very good and all questions are answered patiently
The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. The location is extremely advantageous. There are many shops around. Trains and trams are within walking distance. There are supermarkets and restaurants. The breakfast is rich, delicious and nutritious.
"The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the central market, restaurants and the train station, and can be reached within walking distance. The internal environment is quiet and clean, and the overall accommodation experience is very comfortable. Highly recommended!"
I stayed here when I was in Florence. The room was so nice, perfect for a solo traveler, and the staff were lovely. The location was great, and the breakfast was also great, so I was very satisfied. I'll definitely stay here again when I go to Florence.

The hotel is cheap, clean, well located and the staff friendly. The breakfast is correct (the coffee machine might need a clean!) The major inconvenience (in our room at least) would have to the noise coming from the pipes and the general sound insulation.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Florence. Very nice and spacious rooms. Nice service. The breakfasts were absolutely great. Inside a beautiful but smaller garden. Elevator available as well as paid valet parking. I highly recommend a stay for just one day.
The hotel was right in the centre. It was well equipped, new air-condition was convenient in hot days, bed is so comfortable that I claim it was my best sleep in hotel ever. Hotel continental breakfast was the other best experience in this hotel as there is plenty of delicious items you could wonder (do not expect hot eggs) with the pretty view of the city. As the hotel is right in the centre you can...
Great value for money! Breakfast is above expectation, savory and sweet food, fruits and good coffee too. Highly recommend it!
Unprofessional conduct, although polite and friendly! Here is my story of three days there: When I was checking in,the A/C was already broken and no one told me! The hotel is ok, but honestly the rooms are not as nice as in the pictures. It is very well located though. If you have a car don’t go there! They have a valet service to park your car that is terrible! They are always super late, not friendly and responsible for any damage they can do to the car.
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location between Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. Comfortable rooms, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It's on the top floor of the building, which is quite common with traditional Florentine hotels, so I'd recommend that you take the lift (quite small, which again is quite frequent with old Florentine buildings). The restaurant is excellent, with...

This hotel is very close to the city center. And the stuff was very nice. We arrived early and parked our car there after we checked out.
The hotel is located half an hour's walk from the train station, a little less to Santa Maria del Fiore. Right next to the hotel there is a bus stop, from where a bus goes directly to the train station (relevant if you have a lot of luggage with you, the narrow streets of Florence are not conducive to walking with luggage). My room was large, spacious, beautiful. Breakfast can be rated at 7.5/10. I...
I stay at this hotel almost every time I bring a group to Florence for business. The price is quite reasonable. The rooms are a bit dated, but I guess that adds to the character of the building. When you step into the hotel, it feels like you have stepped back in time. As for customer service, most of the staff need training and are a bit impatient. But the people outside the hotel are very polite...
Enjoyed my stay! However, I recommend reaching out to the hotel before arriving to ask for rooms not on the ground floor as it might be noisy since 5 close to the lobby. Luckily, I got a quit room on the 1st floor, so I enjoyed a pleasant stay 🙏
About 20mins walk to the city center, which is convenient.
Elegant and beautiful interior. It’s great to have the showering machine in bathroom.
Perfect location for my trip to Tuscany. Very comfortable. The lady at reception was wonderful. Helpful informative and spoke perfect English.
I visited the hotel with my family. The staff was very friendly and kind. The triple room was big, clean and the beds was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Extremely friendly. We especially profited from the luggage storage when we explored the city pre and post checkout. The service certainly added to an even more wonderful Florence experience.
W O N D E R F U L Best location ever and cannot be better service. Breakfast buffet included, staff even book us the pcr for 250km from Florence. The moment they saw my wife pregnant they changed our room to a better one free of charge just to make her comfortable.
The location of the Hotel Maxim Axial is the key factor, centrally located just next to the Florence Cathedral. The hotel is quite old, entrance is just a small walkway. Check in was quick, staff is super friendly. Rooms are not too spacious but makes your stay comfortable as rooms are clean and has basic facilities.
Located on the busy street, a bit too loud even late at night. However, very convenient location to all historical sites. Service is great, beddings are crispy clean. Breakfast is included but dont expect much, nothing hot except coffee/tea. Staff is great, very friendly and gives you valuable recommendations.
Loved the size of the room for Florence. Included everything you need and more. Great location. Close to main attractions. Staff is very helpful.
Very great location. Less than a minute to the Dome, 3 min on foot to the Ufizzi, less than 10 min on foot to most of sites. It is 17-18 cent. building so dont expect a modern and vast entrace, etc Having said that Axial have nice big rooms. Superior double room is great, includes a king bed. Very clean and quiet despite proximity to the train tracks. Street is well lit and safe. Breakfast is mostly pastries and toast. The receptionist even made some reservations for us to visit attractions which was great. About a 20 minute walk from the center of the action, but makes for a great sleep.
Good hotel, staff were friendly! Personally I would have rather stayed a bit closer to the Dumo but it was a lovely hotel ?
Nice boutique hotel. Very polite and helpful staff. They really try to make our stay pleasant. Restorant is excelent. Tasty food. Congratulations to Chief!!! Connection to centre is good by bus. 20 minutes walk to centre. See you again next year!!!
Beautiful hotel outside of the city center, but still very walkable to all the sites. Very friendly staff and great rates. We were traveling by bicycle and they were very accommodating and allowed us to park our bicycles in the secure courtyard area. Really good location if you arriving by car, cheapest parking in the area. You could park you car at hotel and reach center of Florence in less than 10 minutes by bus. Nice personal, cozy building. Noisy in the morning, really bad lighting in the room, no kettle
Spacious rooms that are nicely decorated. Great selection of TV channels. Common balcony that looks on to the River Arno. Basic breakfast buffet available at 6 euro. Consider grabbing breakfast around the corner at Bottega di Pasticceria.
