Beautiful hotel outside of the city center, but still very walkable to all the sites. Very friendly staff and great rates. We were traveling by bicycle and they were very accommodating and allowed us to park our bicycles in the secure courtyard area. They were doing some minor renovations to the courtyard when we were there, but I bet it will be incredible when it's finished!

It is a quite good hotel but my room was a bit dated and the bathroom had a little old smell. The view was really nice! The service was quite good despite the language barrier. The bit dated room and the old smell were the only things that bothered me a bit.

Room is nice enough, mainly functional: everything works fine, nothing is really broken. The simple breakfast (varying bread, coffee/tea, juice, some fruit, butter jam and cheese) is catered personally by the owner. Location is about 20 minutes from the ponte Vecchio, so in 30 minutes you can be almost everywhere in the city center.

Hotel casa del Lago in Firenze It is a very nice hotel, with a beatiful view, a very illuminated room, good breakfast, big bath towels and Sr. Antonio has been very kind to us. We needed an inexpensive night at good place in Firenze. This filled our needs perfectly. It's located near main railway station, and was just suitable. We had our room straight away when we arrived before noon, nad had opportunity to rest few minutes before heading to town. Room was very plain and small, but clean. Everything excellent, from the welcome, the rooms are really beautiful and kept clean.. Really kind and available for every request. Situated, moreover, in a "strategic" 4 minutes to the duomo, in a maximum of 8 minutes to get to the ponte vecchio, the Uffizi gallery and palazzo pitti.

Great family hotel comfortable clean friendly staff. Superbly located 5-10 minutes walk to all attractions. The only disadvantage is lack of Elevator. But in a historic building, it is not possible

Excellent location. Walkable to the main sites and train station. Comfortable beds. We were three friends in a tripple room and were quite happy. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room had a terrific view. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Oh and the water pressure in the shower was simply amazing.

We had a great stay at Hotel Pendini for 3 nights and felt it was an unbeatable value for the price. The hotel has very traditional decor but considering the cleanliness throughout, it added to the charm instead of feeling “old”. My stay at Hotel Pendini was absolutely wonderful. From the warm and friendly welcome by Marco to the exceptional hospitality shown by the entire staff, every moment was delightful. Terrific hotel overall! Very conveniently located. The AC was absolutely freezing - which I loved. The breakfast was also superb. They have a mini-bar with purchasable drinks in the lobby. The hotel also feels very secure. My only gripe (minor) is the pillows were flat as a board. They could benefit from addressing that. Otherwise, I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Pendini - and would stay again

Upon check in, the area (not specifically just the hotel) smelled terribly, but even inside was a weird smell. We checked in which went smoothly and had no extra issues.
