Location itself is pretty good, not too far from everything, including the train station

Great location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze

The hotel was in a nice location and the staffs were super friendly too. The only downside is the walls are very thin so we could hear everyone’s voices outside of our room and we didn’t had a good night sleep.

Close to the train station, you can get the tram very easily and close to nice cafes and Resturants. The pool was nice to visit in the afternoons when it got hot with a great view

We only had 1 night there so we weren't able to fully embrace the culture there, but I imagine it would've been fun connecting with other guests in the many fun areas around the hotel

Very nice place, especially we liked the pool and the GYM. Location is very nice, 15 min walk to any of the museums’. Beautiful view from the roof

Good location. Love the spacious comfort room . Room had 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Very spacious toilet . Generous toiletries. Breakfast served from 7am. Friendly hotel staff. Highly recommend

There is a laundry shop right next to the hotel if you need, which is also very convenient. Plenty of dining options steps away, I would recommend the Maso, which has an extensive variety with reasonable prices

Counter service took a little longer waiting to check-in for room readiness. Receptionist should have advised us its waiting duration and shouldn’t keep us waiting for 30 min

We should had left our luggages at storage area first before starting our city tour

Excellent location - walking distance from the train station and most prominent attractions. Professional, friendly, English-speaking staff. Outstanding breakfast with a beautiful view (be sure to go on the terrace)

The breakfast room on the 5 th floor has fantastic views and lovely food. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my Italian holiday

This place feels special from the moment you walk in. It had a delightful terrace with some of the best views in town where you can have drinks at night and breakfast in the morning

The location is nothing short of excellent… You are steps away from a large train station, and in the opposite direction, you are steps away from beautiful streets with lots of small shops, restaurants, and cafes

We unfortunately never did get to try the rooftop restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast buffet they served there is truly top-notch. To be honest, it’s one of the very best I’ve ever had

Lovely traditional decor throughout the hotel. The staff made a repair in our room with no issues or questions. Having such a great hotel room to return to each day was an important part of enjoying our stay in Florence

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

But I think the toilet's connection to the pipe in the wall wasn't sealed properly. The smell was from the septic tank, not like pee. Hopefully, this helps if it smells again. The shower pressure was good enough

The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my luggage and were very supportive during both check-in and check-out

Just a small thing, my kids' room (403) smelled really bad from the toilet, stinking up the whole room. But we called, and the guy came and took care of it. He cleaned it with some stuff and sprayed some air freshener

I stayed at this beautiful hotel in Florence two years ago, and my experience was absolutely unforgettable. Upon check-in, the receptionist, Francesco, warmly welcomed me and went above and beyond by upgrading my room

Note that in the winter the balcony is closed but you can still access it, just no staff or bar attendant. I give them extra points for the holiday decorations! Oh yeah and the breakfast was amazing everyday

During my stay, the hotel was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Half of the entrance was sealed, the lobby became smaller, and the rooftop restaurant with a view was closed

We had a few drinks at the bar and the service team were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good as well, they had a small section of Asian food, which is quite rare in Europe

Due to my platinum status, I was upgraded to an Arno view room, and I must say everything about it was stunning. The room, the view and the little touches that the team has put into making our stay memorable

They have a chef who makes the most fantastic omlettes, and the stocking of the buffet breakfast is done maticuloulsly. Our go-to hotel from now on when we will inevitably return to Florence

Breakfast was an outstanding rich buffet with excellent fresh food, it felt like we were having breakfast at the Palace of Versailles

We much enjoyed two nights stay in the Santa Maria Novella on October 2024 Three rooms in Villa were very spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The hotel itself is lovely, classy, classic but new

Excellent drinks and appetisers. Room Service Menu at very bare minimum, but still very good. Tip - ask for your coffee when you see the breakfast staff

Breakfast room is lovely, with a great meals. Roof top is great with views of the Duomo, the piazza of the famous and amazing church of Santa Maria novella. It's a fast, easy walk from the train station

The staff of the property were each very friendly and helpful, offering ideas for restaurants and places to see, even offering to unpack and then repack our suitcases. We did not encounter one person who did not smile

’ We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom suite which included a large living room, bedroom, and beautifully appointed bathroom. The high ceilings of our room were lovely and the decor of the spaces were lovely

My makeup was placed on a fresh linen. This shows an attention to detail which we have not experienced at our other ‘five star’ hotels’ this stay and it has made a big difference in my opinion of the hotel

Here is where the small details stood out: upon arriving back to our suite I found that each pair of my reading glasses was placed on a small cleaning cloth. Bookmarks were carefully placed in our books

I had begun to wonder if ‘five stars’ was not what it used to be…. the Hotel Savoy restored my faith and made our stay in Florence even better than we could have imagined

The central location put the Savoy, in our opinion, especially when factored with the great service and beautiful accommodation, above that other experience

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the main attractions in Florence. Second best thing about this hotel is it's history

It's an old palace that was converted into a commercial hotel. The service was also very good

They allowed us to leave our luggage both before and after checkout times in their luggage room for free, which was very helpful for us as we were traveling with small kids and we didn't have to haul our luggage as we went for sightseeing

And if all people in the service industry were like Signor Massimo at the reception, this world would have been a much nicer place 😊

The best FS! The concierge team should win an award, they are next level amazing. They were so helpful, always happy to help us, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable

However, the basic room type is not in the main building, but in another building, which has a seafood restaurant and a separate breakfast room

Of course, if you want to go to the main building for breakfast and dinner, it is no problem. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the main building. If you are too lazy to walk, you can take an electric car

The level of customer service is 5 star and beyond. The valet team, restaurant staff, guest relation, really everyone were amazing. The property is beautiful , clean, well located. I wish every FS was like this

The hotel is close to the train terminal and very quiet. Porter took our bags and showed us to our room in a beautiful annex. High quality furnishings and architecture. The web site doesn’t do it justice

The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom amenities are convenient and practical. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay in Florence. The only downside was the average breakfast

Just a 5-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and close to the city’s main attractions, this hotel is ideally located

We had a family room (1 king + 2 singles) and it was wonderful. We were here when it was a heat wave 37C outside but the rooms were 20C very nice. The buffet in the morning was top notch

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and although the rooms are a bit old-fashioned, they are clean, cozy, and make you feel right at home

We needed an inexpensive night at good place in Firenze. This filled our needs perfectly. It's located near main railway station, and was just suitable

The Tourist house was very charming, while the furnishings were old, the price was right and the location was excellent. The bathroom was good to great

Good place to stay - calm, quiet, convenient location. Near many establishments for Breakfast or dinner. Edinstvennaya problem is the mosquitoes.

Aside from that the room was air conditioned and there was free Wi-Fi. Overall it was nice enough and a good deal for the price

Hotels of this style in Europe are not staffed all the time, like in the US. This one had a policy that you had to call prior if you were going to be checking in later than 8pm

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It is luxurious, clean and beautiful and about 10 minutes from the city center

An absolutely stunning property with even better service. Before checking in the team reached out and asked what brought us to Florence. I told them we were coming for my partner's graduation from law school
