The pool and lobby were great places to hang out. Two negative points: - the bed was really hard - they advertise a laundry self-service but 3/5 dryers were not working and 2/5 washing machine as well

When I left the isolation period, I could enjoy the amazing rooft top and other hotel installations! It’s a very beautiful hotel

Excellent hotel if your in 20s-30s. Rey modern, incredible vibe, extremely friendly staff. That said, the rooms are TINY and barely fit the bed. The shower is literally 2ftx2ft and I had to T-Rex it

There’s a nice mix of people, a very friendly vibe and comfy, decently-sized rooms. The pool is a nice bonus but the real ace up its sleeve was the rooftop bar which had a phenomenal view of Florence from the top

This was probably the fanciest place we stayed in Italy. Nice hot shower. They like their twin size beds so you have to push those together if you want to be close to your partner.

The breakfast was abundant and had lots of options, plus the staff were really accomodating and hospitable. I Will stay again if in Florence

The rooms are lovely and cosy. The access to the pool is not free though but we did not honestly have time for it also. If one wants to access the pool then make sure to keep the charge in mind

Drinks there are expensive and the bar area is not the best, that includes the unexisting bartender that we had to ask reception for him to come every time we wanted a drink. We found it very clean and pleasant

Excellent hotel for the interiors, the rooms, the breakfast, the workers. The only shame is the small parking outside that sometimes is not enough for the guests.

Many of the nights, the hotel was filled with tour groups that made breakfast a bit challenging at times due to how many people were trying to eat at once. The hotel did a great job of keeping the buffet stocked

They offer a shuttle that can be reserved in advance to easily take you to and from city center at specified times. The breakfast buffet is exquisite. Rooms are modern and comfortable

The breakfast and room service menu are limited and not worth it. The street side room was very noisy with late night revelers and pedestrian activities. We enjoyed massages at the spa

There isn't much within walking distance, but the hotel provides a shuttle to the train station, which is in the center of so many restaurants and hotels. The room was simple and modern, and we had a beautiful view

Upon arrival when I asked if there were any upgrades available, they had already upgraded our room which included a great view from the 14th floor and access to the Concierge level with snacks

Good location close to a lot of attractions. Friendly staff, the receptionist spoke English fluently which is a plus for us. Also they seem to also speak other languages other than Italian which is a plus.

We walked about 5-10 minutes to all the main sites and museums. This hotel is situated down a quiet street away from all the crowds and tourists. I would give this hotel my highest recommendation

This is the perfect hotel for a Florence stay. In the centre of the city but slightly on the edge so that you have very easy access to everywhere but it is also peacefully away from the madding crowds

I stayed at the Hotel Balestri while in Florence and it was a great experience. The location, staff, comfort - there was nothing not to love

Staff was helpful, amenities were very nice. What made this hotel are two things. 1st it's across the street from the train station so it makes life easy, and 2nd the breakfast was one of the best in all of Italy

Add to that the hotel 2 doors up had a great happy hour and great drinks. It's fun to stay closer to the center of a city but when you are travelling it's better to be closer to your mode of travel

I did the reservation using snaptravel at a discount. you can enjoy Florence city center which is not far away and also pretty close to the train station. Staff is friendly and it speaks english

Planes, Trains, or Automobiles. This is a nice hotel within 5 min walking of everything. The red hop on hop off bus is at the (you guessed it) train station

I don’t understand why this hotel would have negative reviews. Hotel Rivoli was One of the best places I stayed in, on my Europe trip. It was a spur of the moment thing and the staff and the hotel did not disappoint

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2024. Staff was great, free breakfast was great, rooms are typical old city sized small (to be expected) but very clean and AC worked great. They had a bar and nice garden to sit in

I understand the hotel wants to make money on the rooftop terrace, but guests are paying for this amenity in their room fee and accordingly should be allowed to consume their own wine - especially given the drink menu did not have a comparable bottle of wine available

I reserved a single room because I was traveling solo to visit my son while he was studying abroad, and she was so perfect. The room was tiny but mighty, and I had everything I needed and more

I was lucky enough to get a day of sunshine and spent a good amount of time on the rooftop. I added the breakfast buffet to my stay and it was a 5 star experience across the board
