Close to the train station, you can get the tram very easily and close to nice cafes and Resturants. The pool was nice to visit in the afternoons when it got hot with a great view

Great location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze

Very nice place, especially we liked the pool and the GYM. Location is very nice, 15 min walk to any of the museums’. Beautiful view from the roof

The hotel was in a nice location and the staffs were super friendly too. The only downside is the walls are very thin so we could hear everyone’s voices outside of our room and we didn’t had a good night sleep.

An older couple might feel a little out of place, but that depends on what kind of atmosphere you’re after. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating

We only had 1 night there so we weren't able to fully embrace the culture there, but I imagine it would've been fun connecting with other guests in the many fun areas around the hotel

2) BEWARE: the whirlpool is not free!! It costs 20 euro per person. 3) We had some issues with our ac. Although we were able to adjust the settings and to put it on, it kept on going off after 10 minutes or so

The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my luggage and were very supportive during both check-in and check-out

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

We got a small hotel just outside Florence. We booked two rooms, one for me and one for my teens. The room was pretty big, and the bed was great, super comfy and cozy. The room and bathroom were clean too

I understand the hotel wants to make money on the rooftop terrace, but guests are paying for this amenity in their room fee and accordingly should be allowed to consume their own wine - especially given the drink menu did not have a comparable bottle of wine available

We enjoyed out stay at Hotel Croce di Malta. The staff was attentive and the location was excellent and it was easy to walk to all the areas of the city that we wanted to

Unfortunately and illogically, it is apparently the only place in Florence where I could not open a Super Tuscan for enjoyment purposes

The hot breakfast included in the rate was better than expected and utilized daily before heading out

Some of rooms are oddly configured since they were put into original villa but al in all a good place to stay

As a radical night owl, I absolutely loved it that tea, coffee, and tasty biscuits were available in the breakfast hall 24/7 for self-service

Of course, if you want to go to the main building for breakfast and dinner, it is no problem. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the main building. If you are too lazy to walk, you can take an electric car

However, the basic room type is not in the main building, but in another building, which has a seafood restaurant and a separate breakfast room

The yard is large, and the outdoor swimming pool is not heated and is very cold.

Hotels of this style in Europe are not staffed all the time, like in the US. This one had a policy that you had to call prior if you were going to be checking in later than 8pm

I recommend everyone to go to this hotel, the cleanliness, the punctuality of the delivery room, but, above all, to the point where it is and the price, I recommend to the owners to modernize a little bit the structure.

In the end, we stayed on the 17 Dec 2021 for two nights. On arrival we were greeted with a huge warm welcome and felt completely cared for from beginning to end

The breakfast and room service menu are limited and not worth it. The street side room was very noisy with late night revelers and pedestrian activities. We enjoyed massages at the spa

Awesome hotel at a convenient spot. The fact that you can walk to most of the touristic places and avoid any disruption due to closed streets for cars thanks to a parking lot next door is extremely convenient

Two Room apt was really nice and the beds comfy. The AC worked great as temps reached 100+ this week. Breakfast was great too! Short and safe walk to all the main attractions. Grocery store about 100 ft from entrance

We were initially placed in the Annex and asked to be moved to the main house, and Hotel Royal was glad to make that change for us. This is a great hotel for Florence, particularly for those who are driving

Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late)

It was convenient cause it was a card key instead of a key, and all the staff were friendly. Also, the hotel was clean and had a small terrace, which was nice.

It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch
