Hotel Villa Liana

Lovely hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were cleaned every day. Public transport availble. There are only 2 stops to get to the centre. I highly recommend it. We will be back.

The villa is beautiful, it is an historic building with beautiful paintings and period features. Comfortable bed. Could improve a bit the cleanliness of the rooms, but everything else was very good. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings. The breakfast was good and had reasonable choice. The location is also good, within walking distance of every attraction in Florence.

This place was great! My family traveled here from the States and went all over Europe and this place was in our top five favorite places to stay at! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were nice and clean, the drinks were decent, the breakfast food was exquisite, the bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful! We also loved how close this place was to the middle of the city, and that it had convenient parking. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

I cannot believe how amazing this hotel is for the price. The room is absolutely beautiful with an amazing ceiling and balcony with a lovely view. It’s very clean as well and the ac is very good. Service is great with fast response online and on-site parking. I definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back!

Wonderful hotel in Florence. Beautiful and very large historic villa modernized (for amenities only - the classic Italian charm is still everywhere). It is located in a quiet area to the east of the center of Florence. Very large rooms, with original intact villa accents... the ceiling in our room has two large frescos, a very old and beautiful crystal chandelier, and a spacious dresser. If you have a rental vehicle or are Ubering/taxiing, this is an ideal location. If you prefer to explore on foot then i would recommend a hotel cost to the city center. No elevator so if you have a lot of luggage, as we did I would recommend a ground floor (0) or first floor (1) room, although they do help you carry the luggage to the room at check in and if requested at checkout. Very clean beds and a large (for italy) bathroom with all of the amenities you could want. I would stay here again and rebond this hotel to others.

I have always dreamed of living in a real Italian palazzo and my dream came true. The building is very beautiful, the room has antique furniture and frescoes on the ceiling. Unfortunately, you have to walk 15 minutes to the city centre. There are no restaurants, cafes or shops near the hotel. The windows of my room faced the street so it was noisy at night from cars and motorbikes. I would have liked more vegetables and greens for breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful, romantic, the historic feeling is well maintained . As such, there is no elevator and since the ceilings are high, there are many stairs to climb to the first and second floors :-). Someone will help you carry the suitcases to your room, so you needn't worry about that. We stayed on the ground floor - a spacious room with a small garden - and loved it very much. The staff are mostly nice and the breakfast has a good variety. The hotel is situated about 10 min. walk to the historic center, and 5 min. walk to nearby restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much - largely because we stayed on the ground floor, and not on the first or second high floors with no elevator...

Well positioned just outside the ZTL, 20 min by foot to centre, great to visit Florence, no need for a car. Also close to lots of restaurants and pizzerias, on the other side of the park
Unfortunately we could not enjoy a drink in the beautiful garden, as the mosquitoes were all over the place, however it was lovely to sit in one of their saloons, the staff was very kind and helpful
A downside in terms of room - which was towards the main street, it was very noisy in the morning, waking us up every day at 7 or earlier. We asked at the reception to check the windows but it was still not solved. Another thing to improve - not all staff was wearing masks, and guests not wearing were not asked to put it on (during breakfast)
