Hotel Girasole

I have just returned from Hotel Girasole, I want to thank all the family, staff and Mino for all the help and kindness you showed to me during my stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My room was very clean with a good size balcony, overlooking the lovely gardens.Breakfast was very good, lots of choice including some tasty pastries. Not too far to walk into the main part of Sorrento, to trains and buses. I would definitely recommend this family hotel. One small thing, I would of liked tea and coffee making facilities, in the room.

this is a perfect location the staff are very helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble. rooms are small but has all you need most in portent a very comfortable bed and great air-conditioning

Wonderful! Just returned from a 1 week stay booked through Newmarket Holidays.
This family run hotel is a little gem. Owners, management and staff were all pleasant, welcoming, helpful & efficient without exception; making our stay feel like we were guests in a large Italian Family Home. The style & decor of the hotel was perfect; it had the atmosphere of a boutique style of hotel, where we felt welcome and at home.
2 couples, so we had booked 2 garden view rooms (32 & 37); woke up each morning to an amazing view of Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples from our balcony. We slept like babies every night.
We used the swimming pool, surrounded by orange and lemon trees, every day after our long days of exploring. It was the perfect way to cool down, relax & finish the day before dinner.

Positives, staff amazing, very friendly, helpful, incredibly clean, food good, 3 choices given for evening meal, breakfasts were varied, good selection, other than scrambled eggs and sausages every day
Negatives, especially the room size, rather glad I was travelling solo, as rather small.
Hotel located directly on a very busy street, so pack ear plugs!

Faultless
The Hotel family were always in recepion with a smile and greeting when entering and leaving. Restaurant staff were friendly and work hard to make sure breakfast items were replenished regularly and offer good service at evening meal. Bar staff and pool staff friendly too and nothing too much trouble. Very good housekeepers refreshing rooms every morning. Had a garden view room at the rear which was nice and quiet. Nice pool area. Weather very warm but Hotel had air conditioning throughout making it comfortable.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice room, comfy beds, stunning view from the bedroom. Delicious food and expresso coffee. Every single thing we ate during our stay nights was amazing (pastries, different pies every day, bread, etc.) as well as the dinner they prepare every night. The pool is great. Peaceful environment at the back of the hotel with a beautiful space to eat our meals and relax. Free parking! :) No hassle.

Excellent hotel with wonderful friendly staff, and beuitiful grounds

Small and friendly describes it perfectly, simple hotel with a good size pool and plenty of sun beds, the outside dining area is surrounded with orange, lemon and grapefruit trees. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Sorrento itself and 5 minutes from Sant Agnello the other way, yes the road is busy but there is a pavement. Request a room at the back of the hotel, it is quieter and will have a view over the garden and Mount Vesuvius. Rooms are plain and have a balcony or terrace. Fully compliant with Covid rules and regulations

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. The food is always of a high quality and very tasty. Our room overlooked the gardens but the view of the bay and Vesuvius was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly come here again

Great small hotel with friendly staff and room overlooking the garden. Would visit again. The breakfasts were very good - so much choice. We didn't have tea making facilities which would have been appreciated. The pool was amazing - the cleanest pool I've seen.
