Ah, the Best Western Crystal Palace Hotel - where the grandeur of yesteryear meets the reality of today's budget constraints. Located conveniently near the train station, but sadly, the only thing 'crystal' about this palace is the lingering scent of cheap air freshener in the lobby.
Our room was a spacious time capsule, frozen in the era of floral print bedspreads and faded golden trim. The furniture looked like it had been salvaged from a thrift store, and the bed creaked with every move, as if protesting the indignity of hosting yet another weary traveler.
The bathroom, oh the bathroom! A tiny, cramped space with a showerhead that seemed to be an afterthought, installed at a jaunty angle, as if to say, 'Good luck getting wet, sucker!'
But, alas, the staff! Ah, the staff! Like a ray of sunshine in this otherwise dingy establishment, they tried their best to make us feel welcome, with warm smiles and helpful tips on where to find the nearest decent coffee.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a taste of faded glory and a healthy dose of irony, the Best Western Crystal Palace Hotel is your place! Just don't say I didn't warn you.

The best service by staff I've ever had, but outside the hotel at evening hours is not for the faint at heart. You will be accosted and badgered

Booked through Best Western. I was treated very well. Excellent room with TV and ergonomic bath. Friendly staff also served breakfast. Exceptional location very close to Porta Nuova station and connected to the rest of Turin

Friendly staff, big rooms. Biggest thing to watch out for is not in the hotel but directly outside of it. Twice I witnessed a drug deal. Can’t blame the hotel for that.

Good hotel located directly adjacent to the Porto Nuova train station. Good room size, comfy beds and minibar. Both aircon and possibility to get fresh air. Good noise isolation from street.
I haven't traveled much in Italy. The breakfast seemed very basic, especially for a 4* hotel, but I was told by business colleagues that it is normal - and that 4 different types of croissants were luxury.

Very comfortable spotless room, convenient location and very good breakfast offering, which caters for all dietary requirements, including vegan. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We will return.

Really good location if you think transportation around city. Porto Nuovo station caused a little bit noise early in mornings but that does not bother much. Couple of homeless people sleeps nearby. Hotel stuff was nice and co-operative.
