Don't be fooled by the name - there's nothing royal about the Hotel Royal Torino.
First and foremost, the location is inconvenient, especially for those wanting to explore central Turin. It's far from the city center and not within walking distance of any metro stations. Expect to spend at least 30 frustrating minutes trying to navigate the confusing bus and tram routes just to reach the nearest metro stop. Even a taxi ride back from the city center will set you back at least 20 euros.
The disappointments don't end there. The hotel itself looks tired and outdated. The furniture is old and worn, and the rooms feel cramped and unwelcoming. Cleanliness is also an issue, with visible dirt and grime in many areas.
I recommend looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable and convenient stay in Turin.

We didn’t have breakfast included, but nobody told us in advance. We experienced it in the morning. A better communication at the moment of reservation could have been appreciated . Room was ok, although the door was creeking. A sheet on the bed had a great hole. Not happy at the end.

It was a clean hotel. the distance to the centre probably not an advantage. The staff were excellent and helpful especially Silvia she was cheerful, professional, friendly and very helpful . Thank you Silvia.

The personnel have been lovely, easy parking underneath the hotel, room very clean and very accommodating for a small baby.

Hotel should be renovated. 4* are just because they provide you with things like mini shampoo, lotion etc which i would rather exchange for standard upgrade and better cleanliness. I didn’t like blankets covered with white sheets instead of proper duvet. But i do appreciate nice service and localization.

Avoid this Hotel !
Very old Hotel, no lights on the stairs, the AC in the room wasn’t working, and no fridge in the room.
We had a room on the 6th floor with no real windows, and a very little and uncomfortable bed even if the booking said king size bed.
The white covers had yellow stains all over them and the personnel didn’t want to change them.
The 12 euros breakfast was also terrible.

The room is very small, air conditioning does not work, poor sanitary conditions, and the real room is completely different from the picture on the hotel website. The next morning I saw that the others rooms is normal, I think they are targeted racial discrimination, very bad experience, everyone is cautious.
