My stay at the Marriott hotel in Venice left a very positive impression. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, with a stunning view of the lagoon.
The hotel’s convenient location deserves special mention: it is situated on a private island, offering a sense of seclusion and tranquility, yet the main attractions are easily accessible via a free shuttle that runs regularly.
I also want to highlight the SPA area and the pool overlooking the Venetian lagoon — the perfect way to relax after long walks.

Our family’s stay at the JW Marriott Venice was truly enchanting. From the moment we stepped in, we were surrounded by luxury and a welcoming atmosphere. The private island location provided breathtaking views and a serene environment that felt like our own slice of paradise.

I recently stayed at this secluded resort that boasted a picture-perfect landscape, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking tranquility and beautiful scenery. However, the overall experience was marred by several culinary disappointments and some logistical issues in the accommodations.
While the setting was stunning, the food choices were minimal and average at best. The pizza from the on-site restaurant consistently came out doughy, leaving much to be desired, especially for someone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine. Breakfast options were limited, and I found myself wishing for more variety, often feeling disappointed as I stood in the cramped area designated for the buffet.
The sandwiches available on the rooftop were below average, lacking in flavor and freshness. The highlight of any meal should be the steak, but unfortunately, the only steak I managed to order was poorly cooked and tasteless, not living up to the expectations set by a resort of this caliber.
Moreover, the baby bed installed in the living room was more of an obstruction than a comfort. It was unfit for a 2 and a half-year-old, serving only as a waste of space rather than a functional addition to the room. Lastly, the room service menu was less than acceptable, with much of the food appearing dated and unappetizing.
In summary, while the resort's seclusion and landscape were enchanting, the dining options and accommodations fell short of expectations. Improvements in food quality and room amenities would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Absolutely amazing property and staff! Beautiful rooms with very large balconies. Secluded quite setting on private island with just a few minute boat ride into San Marco's Square. Great breakfast, nice pools, gardens and views. Staff went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay unforgettable. Thanks to everyone on the amazing team there!

Beautiful hotel. Only disappointment is the AC cooling is not strong enough. After a day in the sun I want a cold room to cool off.

Amazing, awesome, brilliant, and so much more. My girlfriend and I stayed here on our visit to Venice and were very pleased. It has such a nice property. Everything was clean and pretty and amazing, even the shuttle boat had super comfy seats. The location is awesome for a resort as it's located on its own island and has probably the best view of Venice from the rooftop bar and pool. The service was amazing, they even had personal desks and comfy chairs for check-in. All the staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside is that if you want to take the free shuttle to get to the hotel, it leaves from San Marco Square, so when you're just arriving, you'll either have to walk across town, take a taxi, or take the water bus to get there. But after you get there, the shuttle is very nice as it runs every 30 minutes and runs from the early morning till midnight. Also a side note, the boat that you see entering the resort in all the videos and commercials into the private dock at the entrance is a water taxi, not the free shuttle, so if you want that Instagram picture or just the cool experience of the super awesome entrance, you have to take a taxi boat, not the shuttle. Overall 100,000,000/10, will stay here again. Also, I want to say thank you to the dock agent, I believe his name was Davide, he was super helpful and always greeted me by name, so shout out to him, he was awesome.

My husband and I just stayed here for four nights and honestly everything about the stay was 5 star. We went for the VIP airport pickup and it was so worth it! What a fun and seamless way to enter the property. We stayed in a one bedroom loft that was lovely …the whole property was stellar and the service excellent. We loved being able to take the boat back and forth to Venice. Everything about the stay was amazing! Highly recommend. We will go back for sure!

The JW Marriott has a beautiful private island close to Venice. So you have a quiet place to rest and recuperate from your days in town in Venice and any excursions you do. They have shuttles running every half hour from both directions. So it's pretty convenient to get to and from the city. Check the time of their shuttles for the morning. So you do not book any excursions that leave too early. Otherwise, you'll need to find your own water taxi.
