As described it's a beautiful hotel with amazing views of Venice but that is why it's expensive!

Chose this hotel to surprise my wife on our 1st wedding anniversary. She knew we were going to Venice but when we arrived at his hotel she was truly taken back.

We got to our luxury room as booked and upon entry it looked good. But to our surprise we had two beds!

I booked a large double bed but we were given two smaller ones!

To think we would wake up on our anniversary in two separate beds was not acceptable.

I went to the front desk, politely asked for a room change but they had nothing until the next day.

We changed rooms the next day but the room was half the size of the previous, tiny bathroom and poor views, but yes we had a double bed.

I did email once returned home asking for an explanation and maybe some of my money back but have been ignored.

It was such a an expense, but I was willing to pay this to give my wife the best 1st wedding anniversary that she deserves.

Does the advertised 5 star hotel rating come with a side of sewer smell throughout the hotel? I must acknowledge that the hotel is trying, and is very accommodating towards the patrons. At some times, we felt like we were back in the states, if that's what you're going for. Rooms are clean and updated.

But what's up with the sewer smell inside the hotel? Just an issue for our 3 day stay? Or is it just a little bit more extra Venice for the guests? Might want to call the hotel first to confirm if this issue has been resolved. FYI....the smell of donkey extends from the front desk, to elevator doors 2 and 3. At times you get a whiff of it during the breakfast service.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Enjoyed staying in a non touristy area. Our room was amazing and transportation was easy. We enjoyed the local cafe food and the ease and safety of walking in the area.
Our stay was almost perfect except for one thing. I wish that the hotel offered some type of coffee service. It is ridiculous that the only way to have coffee in the morning was to pay for the very expensive breakfast buffet. 30 dollars a person!!! We left on a Sunday morning and no cafes were open in the area. Had to get coffee at the airport :(

What a beautiful Hotel with rich history and perfect location to enjoy Venice, but not having to live in the chaos of day tourist.

Highlights…

the room upgrade 😳🙌🏼😍
the boat shuttle ($15) per person for the stay and always on time
the breakfast was excellent with options for all. Not the best Hilton breakfast compared to Hilton Lake Como, but still very good.

Negatives are only that is big so if you’re looking for the intimate Venice hotel you’ll want to look somewhere else, that said they’ve done a great job at keep much of the initial structures beams so the rooms and hallways feels smaller and more cozy.

Hotel concierge was one of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve seen in a long while.

Thank you Hilton Venice for a wonderful stay.

We LOVED our stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. The building itself is so historic and beautiful. It is a large property but we found the staff to be very attentive and helpful and never had to wait more than just a couple of minutes to be helped. Our room had a great view of Venice from across the canal and was very well appointed, with a large bathroom.
I actually liked this location more than staying in the heart of Venice you get the views and the quiet yet the hotel water taxi conveniently drops you off in two places in Venice and the dock is right there at the hotel entrance. It made arriving from the airport very easy too.
We LOVED the breakfast buffet. I've never seen one so elaborate at a hotel before. The tasty pastries, hot food items and fresh yogurt with toppings made a treat each morning of our stay. It even feature honey coming straight from the honeycomb! The buffet had something for everyone and was delicious.
I would highly recommend the Hilton Molino Stucky for a stay to Venice. We were only there for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer!

A great hotel, and a great location. At first, I was a little doubtful whether to book a hotel on the island. But I was wrong to be afraid. The boats are very fast and comfortable. The schedule is convenient. It seems that thanks to the planning of my day, I managed to do and see everything I wanted to.

I had a view of Venice from my room, and it is gorgeous. The island where the hotel is located is very quiet. After you walk a lot in the noisy streets of Venice, it's a pleasure to come back to it.

The staff deserves special attention. The people there really cared about making me feel comfortable.

My visit began with a pleasant meeting with Ksenia. It was she who told me about all the secrets of the hotel, gave me recommendations on how to get around and recommended an incredible restaurant near the hotel. She really made my holiday even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, Lucrezia and the rest of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with a blend of historic charm and modern luxury, and the views of Venice are breathtaking. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved this hotel!
Our room was fantastic & staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The lounge is only open from 10am to 7pm which makes it more difficult to use as people are usually gone during that part of the day.
The breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want and more! Kids would love the chocolate fountain and candy bar!
Rooftop lounge and restaurants are a little pricey. Definitely better to walk down the street and eat. None the less food was good.
Pool requires a reservation to use (can be a good thing depending how you look at it).
Hilton boat taxi wasn’t super convenient as it only runs every 40 minutes & you pay for it.
Better off buying water bus tickets for the duration of the stay.

This hotel was amazing. You get the incredibly nice rooms and finishes while not losing the historic atmosphere of the building. We booked a deluxe king with a view and had an incredible sight across the lagoon towards St Marc Square. The hotel is on a separate island which adds a little time but I think for a stay longer than one night is worth it to escape the narrow streets and canals of Venice for some breathing room.

The hotel has its own shuttle directly outside to the main island which is very convenient, but you will have to take the public ferry (or hire private transfer) from the train or bus station, so just be aware. The public ferry, while fairly busy, is convenient and frequent. The public water taxi station drops off a brief 5 minute walk from the hotel.

There were some minor inconveniences. We did have a weird issue in our room with lights flickering, though this seemed to be resolved quickly by the front desk. Also it seemed like the AC kept resetting whenever I lowered the temperature, but eventually got it to hold. I was a little disappointed when I asked the front desk for silverware and they claimed it would be an 8 dollar charge to deliver anything to the room, so I just went directly to the bar.

The pool itself is a great place to relax, and maybe the only rooftop pool in Venice? Great vibes and views, though it was not made clear until we arrived that you have to reserve a 2 hour time block each day. We had no issues when booking first thing in the morning at 8am.

Overall an impressive hotel, and would recommend to anyone looking for the historic Venice experience with the comforts the hotel offers.

Wonderful hotel for a short as well as long holiday stay. The service including concierge and on site staff was first class at the highest level of profession.

The rooms we stayed in were professionally cleaned and prepared prior to our visit accordingly to our needs and expectations especially for my birthday!! They have given us complimentary champagne and balloon decorations which was very special to me.

Hotel look was magnificent and it was relatively easy to get to the main parts of Venice. Concierge at the front desk has helped us all along with any ticket bookings or additional requests with the boat bookings.

At some point our sink got stuck during our stay however prompt action from the reception and they sent us a maintenance man to fix it immediately at 8AM!

Highly recommended to anyone staying in Venice looking for a premium hotel. Will definitely be coming back for next holiday 😀
