The hotel location is not bad, you can just jump onto a Tuktuk and a min ride you could arrive to the pub street for food and everything. The staff here were really friendly especially the restaurant staff, my family appreciate a lot. The reception girl speaks very good English, and the rest also speak quite well that you could really communicate.
There is sauna and pool and gym, which is good for relaxing. I will recommend it for sure.

First off, a very messy check in. At first, they gave us a room that was attached to another in a suite, so it didn’t have its own bathtub. We had to wait to get our room switched to a proper room, but then they also forgot to give us the coupon for breakfast (I paid for the free breakfast) and the guy checking us in didn’t know the WiFi password and THAT took forever as well. Also, as Cambodian-Americans, the staff had SUCH an attitude problem with us! They would talk about us in front of our faces, and would stare rudely whenever we passed by and rarely greeted us properly (proper Cambodians will greet you with their palms together). During breakfast - which I paid for in the package I got from Agoda - they wouldn’t clear out our dishes and would straight up ignore us. If you are a foreigner, you might have a better experience than we had, but just know that the staff at Tara looks down on their own people, and that should say enough about their work ethic. Additionally, they also gave us ripped robes and didn’t change our water or bath towels properly. I would suggest finding other lodgings, as there are plenty others in the area.

Nice hotel near to centre, tuk tuk readily available. Staff are very polite and sociable, this is our 6th hotel in the past 19 days we are here in Asia. This is the only hotel to put a tax on food and drinks. Example is a 330ml can of Cambodian beer is $4.50 so two beers is $9 per round. This is the dearest we have encountered. Given a beer outside hotel is 75 cents. Hotel prices are more expensive than the UK. Needs to review its prices as the hotel and staff are good.

Enjoyed our stay. We thank hotel mgmt especially F&B mgr for arranging us vegetarian food -additional item for breakfast. Could spot 3 birds of hornbill outside of our room

I loved my stay here, the concierge staff here were lovely. It was the perfect place to stay for the end of our trip. The room was lovely and well kept. The pool area was really nice and the bar staff there were amazing. The internet here at night wasn't great, a little hit and miss. The breakfast area was really nice with lots of choices. I'd happily stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with my experience with the food. The food prices were extremely outrageous for the amount of food given. For starter a can of Coca-Cola were 2.5$. The pizzas were terrible-bland and tasteless. Burger was good, but the meat was clearly frozen. The gym was small, and humid AC was not working.

Rooms - Our room was very clean, spacious and had all the conveniences required for our 2 night stay. I love that they supply gowns and footwear to wear to the pool if required. Just be careful as there is definitely no placing toilet paper down the toilet - you will have issues (just sayin')
Service - the staff were helpful and very quick to sort any concerns that are addressed. The staff at the pool are amazing and make sure you are looked after at all times.
Location - just outside of the main city but close enough to get a Tuk Tuk for about US$3. Get yourself into Pub Street where it is all happening of a night. As for the hotel itself, the surroundings and gardens are beautiful and the pool is very inviting with plenty of room for swimming or just sitting and havng a drink.

Good size rooms. Great water pressure in shower. Rooms included bath robes, kettle, safe & TV. Quiet location. Pool, bar & restaurants offer good selection at good price.

The hotel staff did not seem knowledgeable about a lot of things. Every question had to be answer by someone in the back room. The breakfast and dinner restaurant staff was very nice and they did an outstanding job in taking care of quest. Loi and Chantry in the spa were great. The Tuk Tuk drivers of # 9 and #11 were great. We requested them all the time. If you are picky like me, bring your own slippers, they do reusable ones. If you have a late flight, there is no luggage room. There is just your luggage under a net in the lobby area. We used the hotel to make our tours. The tours were great. Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm, and Banteay is a must see. Be careful with the tours because they will not tell you that you pay for a tour but additional entry fees are not included when you get there. Siem Reap, Cambodia was a great place to visit. The town was lively every night.
