Margis Hotel & SPA

Very clean rooms, polite staff and nice location

A great location for group events, also a decent SPA, rather serene place for couples as long as you do not get a wedding party during at the same time. The place is big, open for paint ball, fishing and other outdoor activities. Good with small children.

Good hotel! Nice and silent place to stay. It seems this hotel is not 4*, but average 3*. No mini bar, no air conditioner, no bathroom accessories... Restaurant is very nice!

We had booked a room at the hotel, but two days of arrival sent a letter with a proposal to increase the level of discount and we have changed in the cottage, and did not regret it.
Very friendly staff. All speak Russian, or try to do it.

The cottage was large, comfortable bed, some semblance of a kitchen (electric kettle, fridge, sink and utensils, and a stove or microwave was not, so if you want hot, then welcome to the restaurant), on the second floor with two single beds and a router which from time to time had to restart, because I lost the signal.
The price includes access to the Spa with Turkish and Finnish steam room and swimming pool. We were lucky, there were few people, and the weekend would probably be crowded.
There are sports grounds and court, but we did not use. The car went to see the Trakai and Kaunas.
Good place for a weekend or stay for a few days. With more time, I guess you can get tired from boredom.

The house is not very if with young children between the uprights of the railing of the second floor and the stairs are a bit tough. WIFI only in the main building.

Really nice place close, perfect for a weekend getaway as it is in the nature and close to the lake. Also offers some sports facilities and is nice for families.

Service - very friendly
Did - Wow 👌👏 it was something. Good taste and representation.
Pool - to crowded, to small, even if you not swim after some time eye getting hurt from chemicals.
Sauna - ok.
Area - nice and beautiful, you can walk in area, lake is near by.

Restaurant located in a very beautiful private area an a Margis lake shore. Has big outdoor terrace with summer grill. Beef carpaccio for starter was delicious. Note for kitchen, please next time use salt flakes instead of crunchy rock salt. Halibut was cooked well, but I did not find potato pankake very suitable for this type of dish. Maybe more crunchiness would save the day. Pavlova was very tasty, really enjoyed.
