Stayed here over 7 years ago. What a place. Still the same high-quality hotel made perfect by the friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Had to come back to sit in the bar for the afternoon and share memories of our last visit. Great location, just off Dome Square. This time, we got to experience the Chrismas market. It was one of the best we've visited. If you're looking for the authentic Christmas...
Finally a hotel that gets it! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as you enter you feel like a guest and not a customer. There is always someone to help at the reception, and beverages and cookies ready to take. When entering the room we found a hand-written welcome letter, chocolates and other sweets. There were all kind of amenities in the room, a filled mini bar and every evening there...
I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The staff at check-in were so gracious and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I loved the turn down service in the evenings. The hotel is very close to the cheerful Christmas market. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and in Riga. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the city.
Great service from all, good comfortable rooms and excellent central location. They already do things for you before you have to ask! We arrived early, left bags with them, and came back later for the room. They had already took bags to our room. On way out our flight was in the evening and we booked the hotel car for airport transfer. We went to reception to get our bags... And they were out waiting...
We booked the hotel because the pictures were very well done and the hotel was centrally located. We were celebrating a special event and wanted a special hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age when you look at it. The floor in the room squeaks and the room is smaller than average compared to the standard of a hotel room. Unfortunately, it wasn't really clean and the hotel has a smell that...
Great hotel with great service, right in the old town of Riga!

I recently stayed at the Rixwell Gertrude Hotel, which is apparently a 4-star property—well, maybe it was in 1950. The staff, I must say, were very good and probably the best part of the stay. But the room? It felt like a time capsule from decades ago. The bed's upholstery was so old it could have been an antique, and the curtains looked like they’d seen more sunsets than I have. The air conditioning...
Loved the full body massage! Best massage I've ever gotten! Thank you so much.
This hotel was clean but very tired, however at least they offered me a room when my original hotel had overbooked. Staff were very helpful but the hotel itself is quite shabby and dated.
Average hotel, good for the price. Location is a bit far from center but walkable. Beds not comfortable, vad smell from bathroom. I likes breakfast, have small private parking (7 eur/day).
You pay a lot of money just for the room having empty alcohol bottles in the closet. The internet here is bad, randomly disconnecting, very unstable, sometimes says "no internet, connected". Although the place is very nice, the bathroom is nice aswell. I would probably come again, just would be good if the issues were resolved. 😁
Noisy AC, despite being turned OFF. Other than that, room and staff was good. Location is alright. Breakfast buffet was nice but I have to agree with other reviews regarding the "Omelette", which is kinda weird. Overall, I'd say it's worth the money

The suite I booked was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Although located in a residential area, the hotel is close to "central" Riga; you can easily walk to cafes, bars, restaurants, and many cultural attractions. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at A22 and would love to stay there again the next time I visit Riga.
The hotel is exceptionally well-equipped for anyone travelling with kids. In addition to the standard baby crib provided probably in most hotels they also had a baby bathtub, a potty, some shampoos/lotions for kids, a changing sheet and wet wipes, which I haven't come across in other hotels we've stayed at (mind you, we don't choose family friendly hotels, so things might be a bit different in hotels...
The first three nights were very nice—peaceful and comfortable. Unfortunately, everything changed on the last night when a group of party guests was placed in the room next to us. From then on, sleeping was impossible due to loud bass-heavy music and dancing continuing well past midnight. This completely ruined our stay, especially with a late flight home the next day. The room itself was modern and...
Very good service and room was impeccable clean and functional.
The service was outstanding as always, I had yet another wonderful stay
We had a comfortable two nights stay here in December. The hotel room was ready at 10:30am when we arrived which was convenient, it was a clean and beautifully furnished room. The hotel sauna was a nice extra touch considering the freezing weather outside. There was a slight mistake/confusion as to whether the breakfast was included or not (the receptionist at check in telling us breakfast was included...

We stayed in Hestia Jugend for six nights. We had two adults and two children with us. This hotel has very nice location next to the most beautiful art nouveau -streets and the park zone of the older part of the city. Hestia Jugend has nice, modern launch and some. art nouveau -details remaining. e. g. in the staircase. Rooms were clean and daily cleaning was made in request. Negative side of the...
Hotel is in the Art Nouveau district. Listed as a 4 star, would rate as a 3. Attic room with a single pillow each, about 3 cm thick. Listed as having a restaurant, though you can't use it unless your part of a pre booked group booking. Breakfast area didn't have seating for everyone, some had to take their breakfast in the lobby. On the positive side, was clean, had a window that opened, though you...
Good city hotel, in a beautiful area. Great breakfast, everyone will find something to eat.The rooms are small and modest, we got one with a view of the courtyard. You will have to walk through a large, beautiful park to get to the city center.
We had booked their hotel apartment for 4 nights. The apartment was nice, spacious and everything was of good quality. I thought we would be serviced, but they didn’t even empty the trash bin. A little less than expected. We had great expectations to breakfast due to reviews and image, but was sadly disappointed. Everything was budget level supermarket stuff. The hot food was not well prepared ...
We stayed a night and walked to the old town. It took about 15 minutes. Our room was small, we had no room to open our cases. The bathroom was small with a shower over a bath which can be hard to get in and out for some. Breakfast was okay, at the front of the hotel.
Everything in this hotel was good but not great. Location is perfect if you want to see Riga. The front desk friendly. The breakfast buffet was good but not great. Rooms are quiet old, but clean. I stayed at winter time and in my room was a bit cold. Parking space a bit tricky, if you are driving SUV, there is not much room to park. But overall, good hotel to stay for not big money.

The hotel is located away from the center of Riga, but the location was good when traveling by car. The hotel parking was on the street and there was a lot of parking space behind the hotel. A quiet hotel. The room was clean and spacious, a great addition that an extra bed was put up for the child without a separate request. The room also had a jacuzzi, where it was nice to relax. The only minus...
Wonderful cheap hotel. Furniture a bit outdated. Breakfast beyond expectation. Close to airport. Parking on street
Really good place! If you want to visit riga and have a decent spot. That’s it 🔥
Shout out to reception guy, so friendly and welcoming! Really enjoyed my stay, help given with info for sightseing! Was enyojing my stay definitely!Mega plus for reception guy🙌🏼
Hotel situated in quiet area. Parking is possible near the hotel. The rooms are old and not so nice anymore. Toilets door locks were broken (rooms 402 and 408). Shower was good. Beds not so comfortable. But its all understandable of the price. Breakfast was good surprise. Tasty and lots of different choices.
The front desk lady was very helpful to one of our friends, thank you. Our room is at the front of the hotel on a busy main road, it is very noisy with the window open. With the window closed it is quieter but the window is the only source of air. What to do? The shower room is large and also wet room, by which I mean around the toilet well. We could mop the water up with one of the 3 towels (for ...

DISCLAIMER : all critics and comments are from my own lived experience and have no link to any advertising or paid comment. This stay is not our first stay in a 5 star hotel and based on our own experiences so what could have been a 5 star stay clearly has been missed . The Gallery Park Hotel is a 5 star hôtel ideally located some hundred meters from the old center and the « art nouveau » district...
The hotel is amazing with its architecture inside and location to the center. The rooms are really specious with a fireplace. Every detail in this hotel is unique and well preserved. Breakfast could have been better for this class of hotels
Well once you enter the hotel and take a look at the reception the feeling of grandeur overwhelms you. This feeling is quite short-lived and soon it's overcome with shoddy service and very ordinary rooms. The hotel furniture is quite dated and while the hotel boasts of 5 star accommodation and service and charges appropriately for it, I would still say it's nothing more than a 3.5 star hotel. Look...
This hotel was great, the beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The rooms vary as the some rooms(mainly on the 4th floor) are more modern than the others which are more classical. My room was one of the more modern rooms which was very nice and neat. There was one room separated by a glass wall which was like a living room with a couch and desk and in the room opposite of the living room...
I would like to thank Hotel for our staying in Riga. - At first we was surprised when we saw fantastic decor. Most of the Hotel's premises and rooms have high hand-painted ceilings, firepalces and beautiful antique chandeliers. - Good location. Hotel is situated in Riga’s historic center. - ULTRA friendly, welcoming staff and an excellent attention to details. - I recommend to try room service. Very...

Nice place to stay. Gives luxury vibes. Breakfast very small. Administration service horrible (did not understood native language, not English, not Russian, or any other language). In the beginning she asked money for breakfast - when we convinced that it is already price included, then she forced to pay for towels so that we can go in shower in room (????). All the rest perfect. We booked spa included...
Stayed on 21st November. The hotel itself is excellent — amazing rooms, great spa, and overall a very comfortable experience. But the reception needs serious improvement: the receptionist wasn’t professional, struggled with English, and the check-in took far longer than it should. Breakfast also needs work, especially the protein options, which were extremely limited. Great hotel, but these two issues...
The biggest downside of this hotel is the extremely loud music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, lasting until 6:00 a.m. There is a nightclub on the ground floor, and the music can be heard clearly in the rooms. I was especially disappointed with the staff – I specifically asked about this at check-in and was assured that the rooms are quiet and the music would not be a problem, which was not...
Stayed there on a whim for 1 night on a holiday trip. This hotel strikes with byzantine style look, from the lobby to rooms. Lots of shiny and golden elements. Lobby was rather noisy due to some event, luckily the room (Las Vegas) was quiet, beds comfy and bathroom spacious. Parking free. It is a boutique hotel with 18 rooms. The whole setup is like for Russian casino tourists. However, I will most...
Lovely breakfast served in a wonderful spacious room.
The hotel inside of Casino House. Room was tremendous in size, looked really good same as in pictures. They let bring the dog, for extra charge 60€ on booking but reception wanted to charge 70€.. when told that I chat on Booking she said fine for 60€… weird. In the long run, bath great just no privace in bathroom in front of room its all natural glass. The price for new year night was 370Eu… and was...

Very good low price hotel , use many time , I really like this place. Using every time when I need hotel in Riga , situated very good close to Airport and taxi prices not more than 7 €.
Very nice place , close to airaport what was great for me. Friendly stuff Only was to hot to sleep in room But apart from that I liked my visit here Recommended Thank you !
For what we needed (place to sleep and store luggage while we toured) this place was great. Very plain facilities but close to airport and easy to get to town. Price was right, the staff friendly and helpful.
Pure budget hotel. Perfect if you just need a place to crash close to the airport. Can't ask for more than a room and breakfast. No complaints. Good value for money.
Stayed there for one night, nice place with good breakfast choises. Had minor problems with shower there.
Close to airport: 5€ by taxi, but it is possible to transfer ( when booking you need to write it).

Good service but hotel in very bad shape Pretty run down. Carpet was disgusting. Otherwise Service was good and friendly. Spa is not part of the hotel, it's in another building and has to be paid extra, although with some discount
A great room, which even had a sauna. We liked the kitchenette facilities too
Location is out of everything also there is no pool and spa in the hotel it is in different building you, have to walk there and pay extra 15€ per person
Thank you for a Nice stay at your hotel.
Standard property. 30min from center by bus, buses run 20 min intervals. Expensive for what was essentially a room with private bathroom.
Very good small hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Responsive and accommodative staff. Shopping center with restaurants nearby is a plus. A little bit far from the city center (15 min by a bus), but the transfer is easy if you buy bus tickets ahead (there is no way to pay for transportation nearby or online).
