The hotel is located away from the center of Riga, but the location was good when traveling by car. The hotel parking was on the street and there was a lot of parking space behind the hotel. A quiet hotel. The room was clean and spacious, a great addition that an extra bed was put up for the child without a separate request. The room also had a jacuzzi, where it was nice to relax. The only minus was the bad mattress, the springs of which were clearly visible, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was sufficiently varied and tasty.

Hello! I booked this room with a hot tub to relax, of course you can book in Jurmala, etc., however, due to our child's health, we don't go anywhere far from the children's hospital... The hot tub turned out to be a fake offer, it didn't work and it was dirty around the buttons and bubble holes, also everything flows from the bottom of the tub on the floor, of course there is a drain pipe in the middle of the bathroom, but I can slip when walking there with an infant, it's dangerous. I didn't want to explain on the spot about the daily worries at home, because this was the first time for me to rest outside the house for a long time. The breakfast was great❤, the pancakes lacked honey Thank you! I hope you get to upgrade the room to a true semi-deluxe room and implement safety and cleanliness in the hot tub...

Hotel situated in quiet area. Parking is possible near the hotel. The rooms are old and not so nice anymore. Toilets door locks were broken (rooms 402 and 408). Shower was good. Beds not so comfortable. But its all understandable of the price. Breakfast was good surprise. Tasty and lots of different choices.

im only writing the review, because i see (unfortunately just now) in comments from 2+ years old up until nowadays, how many flaws this "hotel" has. Trust me, nothing changed.
The interier of the hotel is in very bad condition and rooms even worst. Needs total renovation. Not sure if QA ever visited this motel. Sorry. Hotel. Just a hint - there is a reason...are reasons, why the hotel is so cheap.

I received a confirmed booking (Reservation Number: OG61FY) for Kolonna Hotel Brigita, but when I arrived on August 15th, they told me they were fully booked. No room was available, and all I got was a weak apology.
This is completely unacceptable and caused me a lot of stress. If you value reliability, avoid this hotel. They clearly don’t take their commitments seriously.

This hotel was an excellent choice for a week in Riga. From arrival to check out every member of staff was friendly, very professional and provided information for our first visit to Riga. Breakfast was very fresh and a large selection available. Being in a residential area - this hotel offers quiet away from noisy Old Town. The bus stops for trolley buses 4&19 less than 5 minutes from Hotel and Narvesen kiosk at stop (10 Euros for 5 day ticket is exceptional value). Brigita offers exceptional value!!!!

The front desk lady was very helpful to one of our friends, thank you. Our room is at the front of the hotel on a busy main road, it is very noisy with the window open. With the window closed it is quieter but the window is the only source of air. What to do? The shower room is large and also wet room, by which I mean around the toilet well. We could mop the water up with one of the 3 towels (for 2 people) that were supplied. Fortunately after a couple of hours it was mostly dry. We could hear people moving about above us. The evening meal and breakfast were OK.
