Hotel Anderba

I am reviewing my experience at the hotel restaurant, not the hotel. A friend and I was going there for a drink. The waiter did not speak English, just a few words, which of course became a challenge, but that usually works out anyway. Menus were not in English either so I had to ask what the items were. Finally we came to the conclusion that one of them was juice. I asked what kind of juice and the waiter gave some options. I chose mango. I was thereafter served somewhat warm orange juice. Not what I wanted and not what I ordered for 4€. I then go to the bar with my juice and explain that it was not what I ordered. The man at the bar then says, in a quite rudely tone, ”I don’t have mango”. I said ”but that’s what I ordered. I didn’t order orange juice”. His reply, even more rudely: ”where on my menu do you see mango juice?”. I told him the waiter offered it as an option. It became a bit tense since the waiter was also there. Neither him or the guy behind the bar wanted to take any responsibility for it. I didn’t want the orange juice or anything else at this point, but they wouldn’t take it off the bill. Instead I had to choose something from the fridge so in the end I paid 4€ for a bottled drink that was on the menu for 2,5€ along with feeling that I was not welcome in this establishment. Room for improvement to say the least!
