Last min I messsages the hotel to sort a surprise for my sister because we landed the same day as her birthday, I got a message back and it was all sorted. The staff were amazing and everything went on well

The rooms are a bit small and especially the bathroom, but still nice, breakfast is great and the staff were very helpful and friendly with whatever we needed

The area overall is really good and gives a luxury vibe. If you are done with fancy restaurants around the hotel, a 5 minutes walk will take you to local eateries and grocery stores

The hotel is really really nice, inside porto montenegro. Overall a luxury experience!!! The room was gorgeous and fully functional! It was marine themed in a way, which made it very appropriate given the location

My main comment is about the pool service. They are understaffed and it was really difficult to get drinks or food. In a 5 star luxury I would have expected a higher level

I spend the days after New Year’s Eve in this hotel, didn’t book it myself, it was a selection of the Agency. But for me my partner and my kids it was a great experience. The room was perfect, spacious for the 4 of us

Service was completely super and perfect. All the hotel staff were professional and kind and always had a smile on their faces. A great daily breakfast experience with high-quality ingredients

Carruba Hotel is an absolute gem. Nestled in a quaint seaside village right on the Adriatic coast, the location is simply stunning — peaceful, quiet, and with panoramic views straight from the room

The breakfast was special but the portions were hugh! We could have leave the food but it was too good to leave! The room (12) was probably the best! One tiny minus concerns the small area between the sea and sun beds

Short break in Tivat, lovely little hotel. beautiful location, right on the waterfront, small restaurant for breakfast right next door, staff super friendly, room nice, cleaned every day

Having visited other parts of Montenegro including Kotor and Lake Skadar, I can confidently say this was the best place I stayed. The proximity to the airport is a huge plus as well

It’s just a 15-minute walk to Tivat and Porto Montenegro, but honestly, the serene vibe here makes staying put just as rewarding

Stunning views, great service, clean water, pool and very very tasty!!! The day to eat pizza or a sandwich on the beach and in the evening come to an elegant dinner.

Beautiful hotel on a seafront location with lovely scenery. Superior room was spacious and cleaned everyday with new towels

The views are amazing and the hotel offer free boat rides to Porto if you go to one of their restaurants which was also lovely, also the beach and pools were 100% 5 star worthy they were so clean, never too crowded

The bed is the most comfiest thing ever and the rooms are all so amazing even in the cheapest room. The spa was also lovely with a large pool and a jacuzzi, the massagers were amazing and worth the prize in my opinion

HOWEVER The service was not 5 star, not even 3, if we booked a boat or a taxi it was always late and the staff never delivered on the service after saying they would, for example we asked to book a boat for 6:30 but we waited till 7 and turns out it wasn’t booked and there were events that night which meant we had to find different plans, overall just felt rude

The other staff were not attentive at all and quite rude (especially reception) not what you would expect for a 5 star hotel at all. Also bear in mind that the hotel is very far from the towns of Kotor and Tivat

I have never stayed at this hotel, however, I have eaten and drank at the restaurant. I have been twice before and was always very happy with my experience with friends. They have outside heaters and comfortable seating

I would like thank espacially to Nina at the reception and others ladys the names i couldnt remember. The restaurant meals was sooo delicous and the waiters was so kind

We had wonderfull time at Astoria Tivat. The location, the breakfast , the room was amazing. The staff was so kind, helpfull and friendly

However, the last time we went here we all hated our cocktails and sent them back to the bar to be re-made. We couldn't consume the second round so we moved to larger

The left the drinks on our bill but we refused to pay as we sent both rounds back to the bar. We asked the server why the drinks had changed and he said they had a new bartender

The hotel is located perfectly, directly on promenade, and a few meters from Porto Montenegro, which is ideal for nice walks even with strollers. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, not so modern, tho

Service is nice and friendly, customer oriented! We had a small problem with our bed and upgraded to the bigger apartment immediately, and they helped us to move our things to the new room

Had a fabulous time here, everything was amazing from the welcome to goodbye. Great atmosphere,m lovely views, fab service

Parking is available directly behind the hotel free of charge (3 parking spots), but it's a bit tricky to park

Breakfast is really good, with plenty of options and not the same every day (bonus points for that!)

The breakfasts were to die for and just such a lovely way to enjoy and watch the world go by, sat out on the front people watching

The house is perfect, especially if you enjoy cooking during your holidays and nice walks near the sea

Due to the COVID-19 situation we were unable to go, but the owner reached out to us at a very early stage offering a full refund in case we wanted to cancel and leaving the offer open right up to our departure date

We were unable to visit Villa Ruza this year because of Covid 19 travel restrictions. However, the owner was extremely helpful when we first booked, and very understanding when we had to cancel

Great place we were looking forward to. Unfortunately we had to cancel last minute due to Covid measures. Owner showed flexibility and offered full refund. We'll book when possible again.

There is a church bell right adjacent which rings every half hour but it’s not excessive. The staff were SO helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our additional requests

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch after spending a few hours at Forte Rose Beach first. The restaurant has a picturesque location

His kindness, friendliness, and professionalism were exceptional. Thanks to Bojan and the wonderful experience we had, we’ve already decided that we’ll be staying at Forte Rose during our next visit to Montenegro

The dishes were well thought out and exceptionally well executed. It was an absolute pleasure to have lunch here, and I would say it was the best restaurant experience we had during our week in Montenegro

The prices at this restaurant are higher than average. However, in return, you get friendlier and better service than elsewhere. The food matches the price and does not disappoint in any way

It feels like a very special place, but not in a stiff or uncomfortable way. The service was great — professional but still friendly, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish

The meal i ate was probably one of the best I've ever tried. You can tell they pay attention to detail, both in how the food is prepared and how it's presented

The location is perfect: the sea is 2 steps away, there are lots of shops (including one with souvenirs) nearby, different restaurants and cafes. The breakfast in the hotel was good - diverse, tasty and fulfilling

1 nights stay with the baby before we head out home. Very close to the sea wall, but loud during evening and night (lots of loud unpleasant music outside)

You can't top up the bathtub and take a bath because they took out the bathtub plug. Sockets are sticking out of the wall. Breakfast is decent and internet is good. I ordered a steak for dinner and it was great 8

Very well located hotel, very basic. Bosco at the reception is very knowledgeable with the history of montenegro and can guide you on what to see. Not much of a view but the hotel has a homely feeling to it

Very friendly personnel, beach is near and food served in hotel restaurant is great. Only few minutes away from Porto Montenegro, Old Park (Large Park) and Tivat downtown.

I like the breakfast garden. It is a quiet place and iis close to the sea. The stuff is very kind. Next time I come to Tivat I will be there again.

I have stayed here a few times when travelling with work. Staff are very friendly, WiFi is great. And they really helped organise things like airport transfer! Couldn’t ask for more

Normal 3 star hotel, but breakfast was terrible lived in hotel for 7 days and each day breakfast was the same... Coffee undrinkable too..

Really nice, clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately there wasn't actual balcony as it was advertised but we only stay one night before flying back home so it wasn't a problem.

What a wonderful characteristic building from the 70ies, I appreciate it is still there and honored, room 231 view towards the sea and to see a magnificent sunset, man from reception so friendly, hotel right at the beach, breakfast good to get strength for the day

There are two pools one big and one small, for the kids. There's a basketball field also. Overall, a nice cheap hotel, with a market nearby, and isolated from the noises of the city

A very nice hotel, with small but comfortable rooms and toilets. The hotel is pretty big and the yard is filled with grass. There is an outdoor restaurant and an open bar

The staff was friendly, facilities were clean, and breakfast was good. The coastal view from the balcony was a highlight

Not very friendly waiter would NOT hand me a beer. No recommendation if you look younger than they actually are. No seriously, the food here is excellent and the view is not bad either. The seats were very comfortable

I was only going there for the food. We had to wait like 30mins -1 hour. The food was very tasty and good. It was understaffed and there was only 2 waiters and 2 cooks for the whole restaurant

The bed was incredibly cozy, and the daily housekeeping was flawless. The location is ideal – just steps from the sea and the center of Tivat, yet quiet and peaceful

We are fussy travelers from Manhattan and keep high standards. Excellent location block from the water and main restaurant and shopping area. It had everything you need, small pool, gym, spa, sauna and steam

As a small boutique hotel they will never be able to compete with larger hotels but teh experiene was transformed by the fact that they consistently went out of their way to be helpful and one staff member especially ( a lovely lady from Bali) was a goldmine of helpful information about local facilities and options for sightseeing/recreation and good restaurants in the area

Everything was absolutely perfect! Such an incredible hotel with the cutest design 🌺💖. But what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service. It was honestly better than what I’ve experienced at many 5-star hotels

(The bad room 204 was closed down and fixed) Rooftop pool & bar area: aged, needs a face lift. Roof probably needs repairs for leaks

I have been here for the second time, and this is definitely a place where I am going to come back whenever I am in Tivat. Supper friendly staff, I am feeling like at home!

Taxi from Tivat airport to hotel: Do not accept a flat fee, they are trying to rip you off. Early morning ride is $15 euro and daytime (with traffic) is $20 euro. The can drivers will try and hit you for $40 euro

The beach is right outside the door, the room is super cozy and large enough

The hotel is in a great location in a quiet environment, within walking distance of the center of Tivat and Porto Montenegro. The hotel has its own parking lot, which we were not charged for, which is great

We booked the two bedroom sea view room and it exceeded our expectations. The website photos do not portray the room well. The pre-booking instructions were great as was the driving instructions to find the hotel

The rooftop pool and the beach are both amazing and the restaurant (Mila) is delicious. The included breakfast is also excellent

Great location with excellent customer service We stayed in Apartments Zebra for 6 nights with my wife in July 2023. Zebra is a separate building from Hotel Carruba just across the street with a small pool on the yard

The appartment have a quiet and discreet setting with a security gate and private terrace and pool. The rooms are cosy and stylish with much needed air conditioning

The main hotel where you go for breakfast is a stunning location just next to the sea with a private beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food at breakfast abd evening meal was very good/excellent

These apartments are set in an idyllic location surrounded by beautiful mountains and the Adriatic sea. Only 3 miles from the airport

A part from the drain in the bathroom was clogged, everything else was great. The room was chilled and perfect temperature when we arrived. The pool was clean. I highly recommend this place.

All praise, starting from the landlady, the welcome, the apartment. It has everything you need, linen, hair dryer, iron, stove. It's quiet, no crowds, no noise, a guaranteed vacation

What a fabulous place ! From start to finish I could not fault these apartments. Immaculately clean with the most amazing views of the pool and bay. The hosts were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble

You just leave the apartment, and it's there. Restaurants, bakeries, markets. There's another beach 5 minutes away, for those who want peace. It's shallow so that small children can swim

We stayed in both the Marron and blu apartments. The pool area is relaxed and the bay outside and sunloungers are beautiful. Thank you for looking after us
