I am a backpacker who's visited 40+ countries and hundreds of hostels so far. I made a list of my best and worst hostel experiences. This hostel ranks 4th in the top 5 worst hostels I visited.

1. My room was terrible. No ventilation or fresh air so it was moldy. The space is crammed and the lockers are small so they just take space. Guests with bigger backpacks end up leaving them outside making the space even more crammed. The bunkbeds are flimsy and every movement makes them squeak. I was awoken up twice at night by outside noise because there is no soundproofing. I couldn't sleep well here :

I would not recommend this hostel because there are much better ones. I had make a booking, but supplied the wrong dates. When I contacted the hotel minutes after making the booking, they started by saying they couldn't modify the dates. Eventually they said they could only refund me for two unused nights, and that was only after they kept repeating that they couldn't modify the dates.

Here is the interesting part. 2 of the days that I booked were actually days in the past. The website actually accepted past dates. So when they say they could only refund me for 2 unused nights, I wondered if they were refunding me for the 2 days in the past, or 2 days in the future. In any case, I never checked into the hotel and contacted very quickly after the booking, yet they said they would refund for 2 days.

The reception desk actually ignored my calls about it when I tried to contact using phone.

I'm a seasoned solo backpacker and I have stayed in hostels in many regions of Europe. I want to list why this hostel is amongst the WORST:

1. Little-to-no window in the room, no sunlight no ventilation in the basement.
2. There were only 4 lockers in the 6-bed room.
3. Beds were crumbled in the middle.
4. They didn't put hand soap for 4 days straight to the bathroom (I bought it for 4 cents in the market myself c'mon!!)
5. Magnetic keys I received broke after 2 days
6. The staff is unattentive of your requests.

There are many hostels in the same area at the same price. Thus, this hostel falls under the can be chosen between staying on the street.

Pros: Central Location, Cheap
Cons: Unprofessional and unfriendly employees, terrible service, lack of toilet paper, general lack of quality.

This is the hostel you would choose only as a last resort.

A few things that happened during our 2 nights stay:
Key not working.
Our room was already taken.
More key not working.
No toilet paper.
They ignored our booked expansion, took our stuff that was left in the room and the unfriendly and incompetent employee had to be convinced into giving us back our stuff.
Even more keys not working.

Before going to these hostel we checked the reviews and they were good, after staying there for 3 nights I really can’t understand how they got this reviews. The common toilets and bathrooms where for more people that they could handle so they where always dirty. I am not sure but they had at least 10 rooms of 6 beds and only 3 toilets. The towels were 8€.

hostel is okay but it’s so loud, and roommates don’t care about a quite time. as i’m writing it’s 23:08 pm and they still can’t calm down. as well as i was shocked finding out that they don’t separate women and men. i’m not really satisfied as a young girl who is staying in the room with 4 strange men. in my opinion it’s not difficult to separate women and men. especially when men are stinky, i don’t want to smell the whole night someone’s smell.
