Reviews

Warning: this hostel engages in dishonest practices. They're offering a free coffee only if you leave a 10-star review on Booking.com and 5-star on Google Maps. If you do not think it's so good, they charge you €2+ for the quite simple coffee.

The hostel is overrated. While it's well-located with 24/7 reception, the rooms are smaller than expected, and the shower area is cramped. Faulty key issues and high bag storage fees (€5+) are additional drawbacks.

Nice easy stay in the centre for a basic private room with shared bathroom. I found it quieter than the average hostel and could sleep easily in a comfortable bed.

I'm not a person who make review on internet, but that experience make me to do this.
I stayed 3 days. After checked out, I left my luggage in storage.
And when I ring the bell to get into hostle, no one respond at my bell. And I saw two weman chit-chat infront of the door, giggling with each other. And one of weman was employee. And when I told her about the door, she said she was taking "TECHICAL BREAK". Does she really need to take "TECHICAL BREAK" for pressing a one button?
I heard the info desk runs 24h, and I never heard about "TECHICAL BREAK".
If that really exists, you guys should inform to customers that you have a "TECHICAL BREAK" and you will never open the door while employee take "TECHICAL BREAK".

And speaking about room. Room where placed underground (maybe it was room 324) was my only false in traveling Warsaw. Atmosphere was so damp, and smelly, and I could here everyone's chatting from outside. So if you are little bit sensitive,(unless you don't care about smell, damp atmosphere, all noise) I highly not recommend this hostle.

The shared bathrooms are extremely dirty, there are no shared activities or anything alike and they buy off 5 star reviews by exchanging with free coffee. Someone took our food from the fridge, even though we clearly marked it. The atmosphere is terrible. The only good thing is the location.

This hostel is terrible. I hated it from the moment I got in. The smell of cigarettes is constant; there is always someone smoking next to the reception, and as they leave the doors open, it gets to the corridors and rooms. The sheets are stained, the bed was uncomfortable, full of ants, no ventilation in the rooms, and no towels. I could barely sleep with people talking loudly and smoking all evening. The bathroom has a smell so bad it's hard to explain or forget. They only get good ratings because when you check out, they offer you a free coffee for a good review, and people don't care at this point. I hated every single moment in this place; it was the worst. I left as soon as I could. True nightmare. I felt scammed.

I am a backpacker who's visited 40+ countries and hundreds of hostels so far. I made a list of my best and worst hostel experiences. This hostel ranks 4th in the top 5 worst hostels I visited.

1. My room was terrible. No ventilation or fresh air so it was moldy. The space is crammed and the lockers are small so they just take space. Guests with bigger backpacks end up leaving them outside making the space even more crammed. The bunkbeds are flimsy and every movement makes them squeak. I was awoken up twice at night by outside noise because there is no soundproofing. I couldn't sleep well here :

I would not recommend this hostel because there are much better ones. I had make a booking, but supplied the wrong dates. When I contacted the hotel minutes after making the booking, they started by saying they couldn't modify the dates. Eventually they said they could only refund me for two unused nights, and that was only after they kept repeating that they couldn't modify the dates.

Here is the interesting part. 2 of the days that I booked were actually days in the past. The website actually accepted past dates. So when they say they could only refund me for 2 unused nights, I wondered if they were refunding me for the 2 days in the past, or 2 days in the future. In any case, I never checked into the hotel and contacted very quickly after the booking, yet they said they would refund for 2 days.

The reception desk actually ignored my calls about it when I tried to contact using phone.

I'm a seasoned solo backpacker and I have stayed in hostels in many regions of Europe. I want to list why this hostel is amongst the WORST:

1. Little-to-no window in the room, no sunlight no ventilation in the basement.
2. There were only 4 lockers in the 6-bed room.
3. Beds were crumbled in the middle.
4. They didn't put hand soap for 4 days straight to the bathroom (I bought it for 4 cents in the market myself c'mon!!)
5. Magnetic keys I received broke after 2 days
6. The staff is unattentive of your requests.

There are many hostels in the same area at the same price. Thus, this hostel falls under the can be chosen between staying on the street.

The location is great, about a fifteen minute walk, with luggage, from the Central Train Station in Warsaw. The only aspect that is a bit awkward is the toilets. They are like small closets, no room to stand up without hitting the door and almost falling. Other than that the rooms are immaculate and the staff works hard to make sure everything functions smoothly and precisely.
12.05.2024
The location is is really good, short walk from the central station and the palace of the culture, however the rooms could use a lot of improvements. The beds have a metal frame and they creak super loud everytime someone climbs up or sits up/down. Which made sleeping really difficult, since guests were arriving or leaving all night. Also the lamp above my bed did not have a bulb. The bathrooms were okay, but not very clean.
