Hotel Metropol

Very conveniently located hotel. Yes, structure tells its older age, and the check-in took a bit too long by the trainee but that wouldn’t bother me that much. What was unacceptable was that my non-smoking room smelled of smoking and the water supply in the shower couldn’t keep its constant temperature and oscillated quickly from too hot to bare to stone cold.

The only good thing here was a location near a train station. For other experience - I strongly not recommend staying here. It is a good price 3-star hotel that you expect some level of service that was not provided…

We arrived midnight with very early checkout at 6:00am.

We were booking a family room for 3 adults and 1 kid, we requested twice in advance (when booking, and messaged again later) to prepare breakfast boxes for us so we can take them with us.

When we arrived, no breakfast boxes were prepared, administrator said she knew nothing despite our messages were sent via booking and delivered. We were forced to pay a full price for the room with breakfast included that we clearly could not eat. No option to reduce a price for the breakfast fees. The only thing suggested was to write an email to the hotel after checkout requesting to refund the breakfast cost. And maybe they will refund later…

The room had a bad smell of old rugs and paint. The second bad was not prepared - sofa was not turned into the bed, no bed sheets, blankets, pillows. Also we were lacking towels for 4 person.
We waited almost 40mins to receive those, tired and angry, wanting just to sleep instead of 15-20mins as was promised by the administrator. Those were brought by the security guy after long waiting and nudging twice the administrator.
