Teatro Hotel

We booked a room at this hotel during the weekend Taylor Swift was performing and all hotel prices throughout the city were more expensive than usual… therefore I’m not sure how much a room normally costs here. That being said, for what we paid, this was our least favourite hotel during our trip to Poland.

Pros: The location is so convenient and the staff are truly so incredibly kind and overall PHENOMENAL.

Cons: Some amenities in the room were broken or seemed low quality for a 4 star hotel. The shower wouldn’t stay on and kept randomly switching the water source back to the tap. The air conditioner was very weak and even at the lowest temperature setting couldn’t keep the room cool. The accessory pillows on our bed also had stains on them when we arrived. Another slight inconvenience is that because the building is older and the windows are fairly thin, it can get fairly noisy, especially on the weekend. Finally, the breakfast buffet is really, really expensive for what you get. There are many breakfast options available nearby the hotel which can fill you up for a third of the price.

90PLN per person. This is very much for a breakfast in Poland. We thought this would be a nice 4 star breakfast, but instead we could choose between 3 warm dishes (coffee und tea was good but standard for this price and 4 star hotel) and the lady preparing the breakfast was ill since she was coughing all the time in the kitchen. I’ve been in a lot of 4*Hotel this was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. For 90 zloty per person you can do a much better job.
In other way thank you for the clean room and the friendly staff.

Location is great. Service is friendly, however the room was a little too tight, the AC wasn’t working properly and the room was not professionally cleaned

Location is very good. Walking distance to many attractions, bus and underground stations are very close to hotel. Staff are friendly and there is always someone in reception. Room is clean and have safe, coffee machine, tea etc. But we found it was very low ceiling on one side of the room. We had to bend over all the time to avoid our heads hitting the ceiling. But if we knew the room was like that we simply wouldn’t booked it! How disappointed! When I booked the room I booked a standard room and didn’t expect we have to bend over all the time avoiding hit the ceiling. We couldn’t accessed internet in 3rd floor, but there was no problem access internet downstairs. The staff said the internet was alright but both our devices had problems.
