Islanda Hideaway Resort - SHA Extra Plus

This was a very amazing and unique experience. The staff were super friendly and just seemed like lovely people. The food was really good and the location was breathtaking.

The island is mostly fishing and farming communities and my partner and I did the village tour. Our tour guide was an awesome person and we even got to see his grandson at one of the local schools. The population is quite small but I was amazed at how kind the people were and how safe and welcoming everything was.

The mangrove your and island hopping tours were also fantastic and I highly recommend taking full advantage of all of them. If you do the mangrove tour and village tour in the same day it can work out quite conveniently. Of course, this is always best discussed with the friendly staff who are happy to help explaining these options.

The staff even helped to carry our bags, the service was truly outstanding. 10/10, absolutely amazing and I will never forget this trip.

Alright, this is going to be long so buckle up!

Let me start with the arrival to Islanda Hideaway Resort. The staff arranges pick up from the airport with you, and will drive you to a boat dock where they will put you and your luggage in a long tail boat! The ride to the resort is short and beautiful. Then when you arrive at the next dock, they will tuk tuk you to the resort which is only about 5 mins away.
The staff are seriously the most kind, helpful, beautiful people you will ever meet. They are so respectful and excited to help any time they can. I will miss them most of all!! The pride they take in their work is easy to see.
The rooms are lovely. So clean, and surprisingly sound proof. Not to mention the AMAZING partially-outdoor showers. The bathrooms are very spacious, and they provide just about everything you might need from robes to mosquito coils to AC units.
There is an infinity pool which directly faces the ocean and sunset, so every evening is a stunning view (as long as the weather permits haha). There is also a library, hammocks, day beds, free bikes to ride around on, and more.
You can order any drink you want at the pool and the staff will bring it to you. Breakfast is complimentary. You can eat lunch and dinner there but you will have to pay (it’s not very expensive though) plus it’s soooo good!
While you stay you MUST go on an island tour or two, they are actually 100% worth while. Before I came, I thought the views might have been exaggerated, but just look at the pictures I took myself. STUNNING!! And if you do a private boat because you have more people that you’re traveling with, it’s slightly cheaper and more personal.
It’s safe to say this resort is beyond worth the stay! You will enjoy yourself immensely and be able to relax because it is so calm and quiet:)

Just do it y’all. You won’t regret it. Awesome staff, attentive, food was great(not sure what the 2/5 reviewer was on, probably petty about being late).
For the price compared to all other places, it’ll be a great escape from reality and to distress.
Best part; is the view of sunset.

Beautiful place within nature. There is a pool, where you look over the sea. The rooms are big with sturdy beds. One part of the electricity didn't work and they immediately fixed it. The food was very nice as well at the restaurant. The kids enjoyed it too. It's literally a hideaway, since there is not much to do nearby, but you can book trips. There are several opions, going to Krabi Town, Island hopping or other.

If you want to quit from chaotic here is a place ! Everything were perfect during our stay. So relax The bed is so comfy the place is so clean . The sunset view from their swimming pool is breathtaking
The staffs are so friendly and kind they have high service mind always taking care and make sure if guests are happy

Very happy with the stay we had for 3 days. Excellent location. Breathtaking views with great scenery. Food was a bit pricey when compared but quality was top notch. Excellent buffet. Service is excellent with very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

This stay is exactly as its name.. a hideaway. This hotel is ideal if you'd like a break for a few days and just want to chill with a nice view. Bonus points for being eco-friendly and contributing to the local community. You have to consider the additonal expected costs, however. I booked this hotel impulsively for one night without extensively reading the reviews. This hotel is in a very remote area with only locals, and it is a mission to get there. The hotel will charge you about 1000-1200 baht to arrange transportation from the airport, which includes taxi, long boat, and tuk tuk. We decided to get there ourselves, and it cost less than half of what they would've charged us. The locals will still overcharge you, however, since they know you don't have any other options. If you are planning on staying here, you should just account for this cost and pay it for the convience. Additionally, expect to pay more for food and drinks. Regarding the room, the main part is air conditioned, and it cools down nicely. However, the bed was very hard. Since the connecting room to the kitchen area and the bathroom are open air, mosquitoes frequently get in. It would be nice if the bed had a mosquito net so we could open the balcony and not have to worry about chasing them out of the room after. The service was good and the staff were helpful.

Very calm resort. Not too many cabins/room so never seemed to crowded.
Infinity saltwater pool is very nice - and the view is great.

Besides a range of trips found by the front desk, there is really not much to do but to relax… and for that this place is perfect.

Crew were very friendly and helpful - helping with all needs.
Restaurant with nice view and breeze from the ocean. Food was ok, but not top of class - but the waiters are great.

Prices are a bit high (not over the top) but as there are nowhere else to go it seems a fair business strategy :).

We got a whole cabin for a family of 4. Plenty of space for us - and rooms were clean.

I can recommend the mangrove tour - 3 hours boat trip with stops.

Loved the place, the small island community is an amazing experience. Hotel itself is great, lovely pool, sunsets and staff. Only thing I would improve is food. Definitely had better around Thailand. Also a must visit by bike are the sea food restaurants at the local sea food farms.
