My "super detailed review"

Summary first:
This is an absolute hidden gem, 10 minutes away from both Jungceylon and Patong Beach, but is nestled away in a quiet residential area. The hotel is extremely well maintained and cleaned, I was very pleasantly surprised every minute of my stay here. Please, only come here if you know how to be respectful and well mannered, this gem of a hotel is too precious to be ruined by folks who might be lacking in these areas. And yes, like some other reviewer said, this place felt "like home", and I would come back here in a heart beat if I am ever back in Phuket again.

Rooms:
Very large, and spacious. 2 people will have more than enough room to stay for long periods of time, and the cleaning lady does an exceptional job of cleaning the room, including wet mopping the floors every day. Plenty of storage spaces, dining table, chairs, A/C works great, etc... Nothing to complain about.

Beds and sheeting:
Very comfy bed, and clean sheets. I am very sensitive to odor and I could not smell anything except the freshly cleaned sheets every day. The beds are actually perfect in terms of softness, which is not easy to find in Thai hotels.

Service:
The service is top notch, I cannot ask for more. Very friendly and professional.

Cleanliness:
Very very clean. As in no cockroaches whatsoever. The whole hotel and rooms are very very well maintained, and for someone is OCD about hygiene and cleanliness, I could not ask for a better hotel. I've stayed in other $85 hotels in Patong before that had cockroaches running across the ceiling and beds and I could not sleep for multiple nights hunting them down and worrying. This hotel is so clean it was just like being back at my home in Korea.

Sound proofing:
I heard some noises at night, not sure if it was the people upstairs or next door, but they woke me up at 3am and I could not sleep again. They slept in the day/lunch/afternoon and then started doing things at 3am... What are they bats? Anyways that's not the hotels fault, you will get some bad apples here and there. I also heard loud shouting from a man at night. I wish people with common sense and courtesy would come here...

Who do I recommend this hotel for?

I spent one month in this hotel.

This is my second time and I still felt like home.

The owners are lovely people and friendly.

The hotel is very quiet, and the main street has everything (restaurants, cafés....)

You can do everything by walking (beach, bangla road etc....)

This place is seriously underated. It is a hidden gem. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller. More than enough room. Comfortable bed, ac, big desk, a dining table , two mirrors, walk in shower, a lift, change of towels, soap, strong WiFi, kitchen with utensils and best of all no bugs. I stayed there for 6 days would have been 6 weeks but I had already booked my next flight. Chris and the team were amazing. I'll be back is all I'm saying. For that price you'd be crazy not to stay and only 15 mins from Patong beach... what a blessing!

If I had more time, I would have shot a promo video but I was stuck in meetings from 2am - 6am via zoom most days and working on homework during the day. If you’re looking for a low key place to relax or be productive at, this hotel is perfect. If I come back to the area I would stay here again! Plus, the hotel’s mascot Sancho loves cuddles and belly rubs, so if you miss your doggies on vacation it’s perfect.

Owners: Husband & Wife duo & sometimes their son expertly manage & operate the property. A member of the family is always available to speak to if there is a problem, but you most likely won’t have any problems. Even when I was there something was always being updated by the owner to make the hotel the best that it can be.

Staff: I appreciate the system of actually using the DND & Clean Room signs unlike other hotels. If you want your room cleaned that day, just flip it to the clean side and they will honor the request if it’s before a certain hour that is posted clearly at the hotel. Anything after that will be the following day. When my room was cleaned the staff respected my system and order to organization. If they had to clean something they always put it back in it’s place. I don’t have OCD but I personally hate things out of order in the bathroom and I categorize everything or try to. One time I left something out of place and the staff knew to put it back in it’s categorized place. It’s the little things that go a long way for me.

I really enjoyed an extended stay here. The view on the mountain side was very nice, the price was right and everything about the stay was very convenient. I had some small requests throughout the way and the owners were extremely accommodating. They were great, always on site, friendly, accommodating and great for a chat. They really help take the place from good to great. It was nice to stay at a family run place not to mention with a family that knows what they are doing and cares about the service standard they provide! Easy to communicate in English or Thai! nice and clean. recommended especially for long stay - one week or more. rent a scooter to get around!
