Impiana Beach Front Resort Patong, Phuket

To start, the incorrect room from the one I had booked was given. Only after much argument, was I given the room I had booked (they did upgrade us but only after I threatened to give them a bad review). The swimming pool was closed throughout our stay for cleaning and chlorination (not sure why this would take 5 days). No service is available after 10pm for anything including any housekeeping related requests. Very poor customer experience. Avoid at all costs.

I havent even left my country of Origin and already there was issues. Decided to book directly from the hotel website due to the fact that it included one free private dinner per room. I had booked 2 rooms for 5 nights. Only to be advised via email that there was a website glitched and was actually not included. Hoping it would get better when we arrived at the hotel. The Impiana Suite I booked was completely different from the website photos. It was worst! The rooms were disgusting as in paint peeling, mildew and mould everywhere. The place was infested with mosquitos and sheets were not changed daily. The hotel breakfast we only tried once and never went back. For the first 2 days we were taking cold showers until one of the guest heard us complaining to each other and told us we had to REQUEST for a HOT Water to be turned on! Unbeliavable..... the internet kept dropping off and always asking us to log on. Our last night we had no internet. This was communicated to us that there was maintenance from 6pm-9pm however no internet until the next morning.
Spoke to reception 'BEE' and she kept saying just keep checking every 5- 30.mns it should be back on..I had also requested at least an hour late check out as the the next day we were to check in to another hotel. She asked what hotel we were going to so she can coincide the check out and check in time. At first I thought that she was being helpful however after being nosey she said all their rooms were fully booked. I looked at her knowing she was fully lying to my face as I can see rooms that was not occupied everyday I walked by the hotel grounds.
The main pool was being cleaned for the entire time were there, luckily we were situated next to the Royal Villa suite therefore we were able to use a smaller pool.
The van pick up from the airport was on time.
The guards were really friendly.
Location was great.
Reception lady named 'PLOY' was always friendly and welcoming throughout our entire stay, she ended up giving us a complimentary late check out for one of the rooms the next morning.

The hotel Impiana Beach Front Resort Patong left a negative impression. Large cockroaches appeared every day, the doors did not close properly, leaving gaps for insects and street noise to enter. This seriously affected the comfort of the stay. In addition, there was a lot of noise from fireworks and cafes near the hotel. The noise persisted until 3 a.m. Furthermore, the beach nearby was dirty and full of jellyfish.

I would definitely do your research if you plan to stay here. We stayed for 4 nights and I would definitely not come back. My husband and I are not super picky, as long as the room is clean, we're usually fine. Unfortunately, the rooms at Impiana were dirty, dusty, moldy, and just need a deep, deep cleaning. You can tell they used to be nice, but that is not the case. The bathrooms are dark and dingy. The showers leak all over the place. The floor is so dirty I didn't want to walk barefoot. I will say the beds were pretty comfortable. We also only had a sliding door as our way of entering the room, so we were pretty exposed all the time. The only upside of this hotel is its location. It's one of the few hotels directly on Patong Beach, which was great for us, because the pool was kind of gross, and we love the ocean. We enjoyed being able to walk up and down the beach and get in the water. It's also centrally located to everything in Patong. Restaurants, shopping, massage, night markets, etc. You can walk right out the main entrance and have everything you need. Also, it's not very service oriented so if you're looking for welcoming staff, this is not the place. While it wasn't the worst place we've stayed it, I definitely would not return. There are other options in Patong.
