Location: on Patong beach, 40 km from the airport, Phuket is 15 miles from the center of Phuket.
Consists of three 2-storey buildings and seven 1-2-storey villas.

The hotel has 67 rooms.
Beach: public, sandy beach 30 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses - for a fee.

Definitely *not* what we expected. LOTS of mosquitos (and as a previous dengue sufferer, I recognise the danger), dated rooms, bugs... the staff is very very nice, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the gym is very small and limited (if you have more than 2 people working out you'll be trying to maneuver around each other). There's a beautiful place just down the street so take another look...

I can't say enough positive things about this hotel and it's staff. We held a private event for 90 people at the hotel's "Surface Bar." The venue was great, amazing sunset, great food and best of all an outstanding staff. The staff and manager went out of their way to ensure every need was met with a smile. I would highly recommend this venue for a private event.

Surface is a great rooftop with quite a unique view of Patong bay but food is average... better enjoy drinks and cocktail with the sunset

The room is nice. Mini bar is free. Really close to the beach. Like 10 meters. The only thing need to be imported is the Internet. Which is slowest ever!!!

I wasn't a guest of the resort, this review is about the rooftop restaurant, 'Surface'. Me and my girlfriend had the most horrible dining experience ever. For our mains, we both wanted a curry (different ones), but we both cannot eat spicy food. So we asked if NO SPICY was possible. Waitress said yes, so we said let's do it! When we got our mains (starters were average at best), I loved that they were full of little tomatoes (I love them!). Unfortunately, as it turned out, they were not tomatoes. Then the waitress came to ask if the spiciness was to our liking. No, it wasn't; we couldn't eat it. She offered to cook new meal, but it was after 10 PM already by that time, we didn't want to eat so late, so we rejected. When the bill came, we had to pay full amount.

This resort definitely earns it's 5 star rating. From the helpful staff helping us lug our backpacks in and upstairs (I'm sure they're not used to backpackers!) to the quick check-out process, everything was so amazing after a few weeks spent in "rugged" hostels. The bathtub and shower combo in our room was very luxurious and the balcony overlooking the lap pool and into the ocean was just spectacular. Breakfast daily (and it's a smorgasbord), fitness room, reading library, spa, rooftop restaurant, and another pool (!) amongst their top notch service and awesome location puts this resort at the top of our list.
