Mirage Express Phuket Hotel

Upon booking there was clear information that this facility allows early check ins from 11:00 AM, which is why I come around 11:30 AM and explained to the reception who kept refusing and saying only allowed to check in at 2:00 PM and that if everyone comes early what’s the point?
And as I tried to explain he got upset and got vocal and demanded respect, when all I was explaining is that the app showed me it is possible for early check ins,
Do note that this is not my first time at this hotel and I have always loved to stay here, but not anymore due to this 1 specific staff attitude and how he took things personally instead of helping,
His coworkers explained everything well to me while he was still upset and walking around.
I cancelled my reservation and booked elsewhere, thanks!

About the location its very nice but about the staff reception its very bad i hope to change the staff and 3 time i order changed the blanket but still its not clean it its like some blood and something i hope to full focus about the Cleaners

I recommended this hotel to my friends for their stay, but it turned out to be a big mistake.

We booked one room for two days for two people. On the first day, one friend checked in, and the next day, the other friend checked in, both staying in the same room.

On the first day, there were two towels in the room. However, the next day, when the housekeeping staff came to clean the room, they took both towels to replace them but only returned one towel. When we asked about the missing towel, the staff assured us that they would provide it in the evening, but it was never given.

On the day of check-out, the hotel staff falsely accused us of losing a towel and charged my friend for it. When my friend refused to pay for something we never took, the hotel management threatened him, saying that if he didn’t pay, they would call the police. This was extremely unprofessional and unfair.

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone again!

My stay at this hotel was an absolute disaster. We specifically requested a room with no issues and a quiet environment through Agoda, but when we entered our room and opened the window, we found plenty of bird poop on the exterior ledge, and the smell was awful. After complaining to the front desk, they reluctantly changed our room to one next to the lift, which was bound to be noisy.

To make matters worse, the staff only treated white guests with respect, while being dismissive and rude to everyone else—an experience that screamed white supremacy. The hotel itself is old and nothing like the misleading photos on Agoda. There were mosquitoes everywhere due to stagnant water, signalling poor hygiene.

Frustrated, we requested to speak with the manager. The Indian national male manager was extremely rude and dismissive. He moved us to another room on a floor where painting was ongoing, and the smell of paint was overwhelming. He expected us to inhale those dangerous fumes throughout our vacation! At that point, we were angry, and he suggested we cancel our booking with Agoda.

After nearly 3 hours of back-and-forth discussions with him and Agoda, he told us we wouldn't be able to get a refund, leaving us no choice but to stay at the hotel. We continued waiting for another hour before they finally got us a room without bird poop on the window ledge, away from the lift. All in all, we wasted half a day and were too exhausted to do anything.

The location is equally terrible—situated close to a Muay Thai stadium, ensuring loud noises throughout the night that made sleep impossible. Between the rude, discriminatory staff, unprofessional management, outdated facilities, poor hygiene, and unbearable noise levels, I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel at all costs.

This hotel is not friendly for LGBTG people the reception speaking so rude and not polite to my friend who is LGBTQ , saying my friend she is “ladyboy” before going inside, this hotel so rude , I will not support this place and I will tell all my friends what was happening, LGBTQ plus in Europe is very open and now equality everyone is the same , should not treat them like that a lot of people would not be okay with this because you will lose a lot of European customers

Booked one week. Checked out after one night.
Ac in the room was smelling bad. So much moist in the room that our clothes was vet in the morning. Can not close none of the windows. Extremely loud outside.
Dirty walls and dirty shower.
“ restaurant “ down stairs look like a after party with empty bottles everywhere. Don’t stay here!
