R-Mar Resort and Spa - SHA Plus

It is a very good holiday hotel for a really good price, it is located few steps away from the shopping street and all the attractions in patong area, it is close to the beach but the route to the beach is a good 2 km walk through the shopping street (which is something I like doing).
The staff of the hotel are really friendly and hospital. The lobby is very clean and everyone is very helpful.
The rooms are good sized with all the amenities that you may need such as water cattle, fridge, safe, etc.
However, the shower is in the bath tube so it's not easily accessible to some people with mobility issues( was fine with me).
Lovely hotel over all and very clean and sure will stay here again.

I stayed for 13 nights and had a great experience. The staff found money in my laundry and returned it to me, which showed their honesty. After I checked out, I forgot my second phone, and they contacted my next resort to let me know. Their service was excellent, and I highly recommend this place!

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the bed was rock hard and the bathroom was a bit dated and dark (even with all the lights on), otherwise, this resort was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful, rooms and resort were clean, gym was good (although a few more body machines would be good), food at the restaurant and cafe was tasty, and the pool and pool bar was great. Being there over Christmas the resort put on a buffet and show which was fantastic, would be more than happy to stay there again

We were pleasantly surprised by the resort. It's not large but the staff genuinely care and they seem very invested into customers. We were lucky enough to go during Christmas and they put a Christmas celebration dinner on for guests which was AMAZING.

Would absolutely reccomend this place to stay. Thank you to the team for an exceptional experience.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Patong. It is very quiet though it is a few minutes' walk to everything.

The rooms are clean and neat and well equipped. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

The in-house spa is one of the best experiences you could have.

Go ahead and book in this hotel, and you will never regret it.

Comfort, space, peace and quiet in the madness of this wonderful city. The ‘resort’ offers a hassle-free stay, with a firm bed, clean bedding and towels, a fridge (restocked daily with complimentary water and 3 small bottles of soft drinks. The balcony is wonderful, though ours did not have any view. Ask for a pool room, if possible! The breakfast buffet is perfect and will cater to every taste. The pool is clean and big enough to swim lengths or simply soak away the day and revel in the sunshine. Towels and a bar service are available around the pool. The fitness area boasts an adequate gym. We did not try the spa, but it did look classy. The location here could not be better. Close to the Bangla walking street, many restaurants, massage parlors, convenience stores etc. This hotel compliments this fantastic Thai destination! There was even a surprise slice of cake in our room fridge for my birthday!!! It’s the smallest things that mean the most and R-Mar got EVERYTHING right! Thank you!!!!

Good and nice stay, reasonable price if you are going to find a good deal on booking applications, big and clean rooms with good facilities, good swimming pool and spa center, good room service, but the staff in the reception are not nice and not cooperative especially the lady always sit in the right side or inside the room she seems to be the supervisor very tuff. I recommend generally.

Location is a real winner here.
Not far from Bangla Road but down a street so is quiet and secluded. The site itself is beautiful.
Rooms are good with all that you need.
Breakfast is also great and has a lot of variety.
I would recommend and stay there again.

specifically Mr. Tao the Night Manager and Pool bar and restaurant manager.
from Feb 28th till March 19th,as our first time visiting Thailand, We haven't plan to stay 20 nights in this hotel in the beginning but everything was so good that we extended our stay every 3 or 4 nights even though that caused us to change rooms about 6 times.
, firstly we chose this hotel because it has walking distance to bangla road and beach while it has nice pool and garden with reasonable price.
staff nice behaviors and their good service beside our prior reasons made us to enjoy this place for 20 nights.
Nice, calm pool with beautiful garden, delicious and reasonable priced foods and beverages in hotel hardly would let you to go outside.
5 star experience in 4 stars hotel which I believe it could be because they don't have enough rooms or fancy buildings and lobby and lack of elevator in building beside the pool.
prestigious staff never expect tips but better to consider for each for their 5star service.
we tried deluxe rooms with pool view, standard with building view and others which I don't remember now.
Pool area was so calm and music played in low vol, there were no entertainment staff in pool but plenty of good beverages and snacks.
enough sunbeds, towels and clean area.
not much entertaining stuffs in property.
don't know about their guests policy since we hadn't any. but anytime in mid-night we came back to hotel Mr. Tao smiling joking and made a nice conversation to let us feel comfortable.
check in /check out procedure was normal and on time. you can stay more hours in hotel public area and use pool showers to wait for flights.
we got nice massage in hotel SPA which was more expensive than outside but worth it due to higher quality and time and fancier space and service.
after all try to book earlier due to this hotel is overbooked all the time.
