Reviews
If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I came in expecting a decent meal, ordered a T-bone steak—a cut that should be rich, juicy, and satisfying. Instead, I was served a thin, rubbery, fat-laden piece of meat that was almost impossible to cut through, let alone enjoy. It’s baffling how a restaurant can serve a “T-bone” this bad and still keep a straight face.
I was genuinely shocked by the quality. The portion that actually was edible was so minimal it felt like a joke. I've attached photos to show how laughably little meat there was—if you can even call it meat. Whoever is in the kitchen needs a serious lesson in cooking and quality control. The T-bone should be a cut that speaks for itself, but what I got was a poor excuse for a steak and a complete waste of money.
To anyone considering dining here: choose carefully—or better yet, just don't. I left feeling frustrated, cheated, and still hungry. How this place has any positive reviews at all is beyond me.
Staying next to Bangla Road, be ready for all night long loud music (till 4am).
The room service came to our room at 9:30am telling us it’s check out time, just because some of our group members checked out early.
If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to relax and enjoy your vacation , then this is not the place you should consider.
First we were served one of the wrong item. While checking the bills I found out the flaw and informed the waiter. After some discussion she insisted for 75% of the payment of that item but then she called the manager and he was very rude , arrogant. With pride he said I am the manager and you have to pay whatever I ask you to pay. He even threaten to call police as if we were came there to rob or something like that! thats horrible.
First of all this is not the way how you treat any of the customer especially the tourist.
Secondly its not fair to charge the wrong order.
I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
First and foremost, the quality of the food was subpar. It was not only unappetizing, but we were also charged for items we did not order. When we raised the issue with the supervisor, we were forced to argue for a resolution, which was both frustrating and unnecessary.
In addition to this, the overall service was exceptionally poor.
If you're after a quiet place, this may not be for you. We could definitely hear the Bangla rd parties, but not enough to bother us. The staff were amazing. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was good. The pool was deep and nice. All rooms had safes.
order 2 coconuts, the taste is not good, we ask to change them. The waiter makes fun of us and our nationalities, saying it's not possible.
laughs in our faces, explaining that he knows the taste of coconuts better than us.. Tells us to pay for them. Without a commercial gesture.
we pay by explaining that we are honest, but that their conduct is not worthy of restaurant staff. RUN !!.
If you choose to use this Hotel don't expect any hospitality from the manager.
(I suppose it’s partly entertaining to watch the empty-minded minimally attractive working girls working the sunburned wrinkle-skinned 60+ year olds. If that’s your thing, more power to u?)
