Ilci Residence Hotel

The best thing about the hotel is it’s location, that is very close to Ankara train station. It’s also in a quiet area and not very far away from downtown. I put 3 stars because the rooms needed renovation. The window was broken, thus couldn’t close it well. And the air conditioner was barely working. And a very bad smell came from the toilet. For that price they definitely need to renovate the hotel.

Overall it can be a top 3 star hotel and low level 4 star hotel although I haven’t used the spa and gym but the breakfast was limited .the staff were really kind and hospitable

I was in may 2014. In the first room the AC was not working. Second, the mattresses were worn out. In both rooms a little stank from the toilet flies. Plus was European sink bowls :) Turkey is not a standard room in the hotel... Clean bed linen and towels. Nice furniture, TV with several channels in English and German, clean rooms. Friendly service at the front Desk. Most of the staff outside reception and dining area did not speak unfortunately in English. But Madam Director was fully communicative in that language. Good location. Close (100 meters), market support, speaking English. It is no problem to pay Poland a credit card. In the evening and through the night. Few people on the street, so you can sleep with the window open, unless of course the AC is not working ;) the Breakfast buffet - a choice of several hot dishes + a few types of sausages, breads, cheeses, jams, fresh fruits, vegetables and drinks. Free swimming pool for guests. You can leave your Luggage at the hotel if he leaves for a day or two, except Anakrę. In General, I recommend.
