I stayed in Hotel Balca during my visit to Izmir. The room had everything that I needed, making my stay very comfortable. The place was nice, clean, and quiet, nestled among cafes, bars, and great restaurants. I would like to thank the whole staff for being extremely attentive.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to chat with guests. The hotel is very centrally located and in the heart of the action. It can be noisy at night (especially on weekends), and you can hear other guests walking in the hallway or closing doors, or even guests in upstairs rooms talking in the bathroom. There's a parking garage nearby, a 7-minute walk away.

This hotel was great for the price we paid. But the most amazing part is that the workers here are extremely welcoming and warm. When we gave our keys back we had to wait 7 hours for our next bus to come, and they let us stay in their waiting room the entire time. The lady also noticed we were slightly sick, and brought us warm tea and food. If I could put more stars for the service I would as this was amazing.

A nice, basic hotel room, with all necessities. Staff was extremely helpful, providing great help in finding and getting to locations in the city we needed to visit. This section of the city can be quite noisy at night, as we discovered. But it quieted down by about 22:00 (10pm).

Disgrace
It was terrible, the room was cold, there was a dog at the hotel door, the hotel was inside the bars, it was a complete disgrace, there was no place to park, it was freezing, we were miserable as a family, it was the worst hotel in my life.

Yesterday I arrived here and was very friendly welcomed by both Erkut and Ali.
The room is clean and perfect. Today I will check out the surroundings.
