DoubleTree By Hilton Airport Mini-hotel

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir Airport. The hotel is stunning and beautifully designed, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The property was impeccably clean, and every detail reflected a high standard of quality.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, which made my experience even more enjoyable. The food was simply amazing—delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Room service was prompt and efficient, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. The room itself was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a busy day.

One of the highlights was the pool area, which is fantastic—relaxing, well-maintained, and a great spot to unwind. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Izmir, whether for business or pleasure

Outstanding! We are from the US and this place was the definition of amazing Turkish hospitality. The from desk people we're some of the best accommodating and helpful for our activities. The rooms were okay but the front desk people naturally went out of their may to make sure we had a wonderful trip. I cant speak more highly of front desk crew than here.

We had a wonderful restful stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good with the option to order scrambled eggs/omelette. Highlight of the stay was meeting Ramazan who was warm, friendly, helpful towards me and my family who speaks Mandarin and spoke Mandarin to us. He even stopped traffic for us to drive out of the hotel 🥹

The only con is that if you tend to sleep cold, the hotel is in winter mode and therefore AC is not available to turn on and we were advised to open the window to let the cold air in.

We arrived late in Izmir, so booked this hotel which is nearby the airport. The hotel is just 11 minutes away from the airport by car. There is a supermarket within 1 km if needed. This is very convenient if you need to buy sunscreen or other items you need. However, it is a bit far from the center of Izmir if that's what you are looking for.

The room is relatively clean, the bathroom has hair shampoo, shower gel and conditioner too. There are some stains on the carpet though and the bathroom ventilation does not work too good, so the air in the bathroom smells a bit old. The breakfast buffet has a relatively good range of options. The hotel also has a nice pool to relax in. The room has a very nice balcony which is a great place to relax and dry your swimsuit. The balcony has sunshine and breeze, so the swimsuit dries quickly.

The service is all good except for parking part, it is a silly part. The hotel shows it has free parking and we told to give the car key to the staff. When we need the car, we can call the reception ahead, then it will be ready for us. However, in the next morning, we were being told the car is just parked cross the street instead of in the garage. Therefore, we just park the car cross the street by ourselves instead giving the car key to the staff.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. We were planning to go to Ephesus, so asked some questions to the staff from the reception. They provide tips on the ticket and how to reach there.

We recently spent three days at this hotel for a quick getaway, and it was a pleasant experience. The service was outstanding, with the staff being both professional and exceptionally friendly. The rooms were clean, and while breakfast was enjoyable, it was fairly standard. As an airport hotel, it's conveniently located for travelers, though key tourist attractions are about an hour away. We loved having the pool almost entirely to ourselves, though it would have been perfect if it were heated. Overall, this hotel offers comfort, warmth, and excellent service, making it a delightful place to stay.
