TAV Airport Hotel

First of all, there was no exact road for tourists to walk from the arrival to the hotel, we could only walk on the car road and carry the luggages up to the hotel. You could imagine how dangerous it could be.

Secondly, the security check is so confusing and even ask to take off the shoes, the guards could not even recognise a camera tripod, universal plug or even an umbrella from the gip and backpack. It is so uncomfortable to open everything just to enter the hotel.

Third, the reception did not explain anything but simply bringing us to the room. The room was a room with two beds…as a honeymoon trip, what can I say. As checked, we have remarked for a double bed. When I have conversations with the reception staff, she told us to come down to the reception and check for the order. Still, there was no room for double bed. She temporarily offered us to change the room tomorrow.

The only benefit is the quick walk to the transit to other places, otherwise I would not consider again. It is not a comfortable experience as a tourist to stay in an airport-named hotel with such a price.

It was a huge disappointment. They tricked us into booking a room with no windows, which wasn’t clear at all when we reserved it. The room felt stuffy, and just overall unpleasant. After spending a night there, I woke up with a headache - it was that bad. For an airport hotel, you’d expect at least a decent place to rest, but this was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re considering booking here, make sure you double-check what kind of room you’re getting. Definitely wouldn’t stay again. The breakfast was good.

Bedbug infestation. I stayed for one night from October 14-15 in room 117. Woke up at 2am with over 100 bedbug bites, including several in my face. I let the front desk know immediately and went to a clinic at the airport. The physician’s note confirmed that it was bedbugs bites. There were bedbugs crawling in and on my luggage so I had to leave that behind to not spread it to anyone else. I finished the last week of my trip with one outfit and covered in bites. Photos in front of Petra- once in a lifetime trip - I’m covered in bedbug bites. The hotel did not respond to email requests for help and I have still not had any direct communication with them. I booked through Expedia and they helped me get a refund on the room. I have not been reimbursed for my doctors’
visits or my belongings. The hotel will not respond to my emails. 0/5. Would not recommend.

This is one of the worst hotels i have ever seen. The receptionist couldn't speak english well. The website of the hotel certainly pointed that they have hourly accommodation for 3 or 6 or 9 hours. But this is NOT true. After all the only offer they gave us is that we can stay for 160 Euro just for 4 hours and we have to check out at 12:00. Obviously they want just take more money from us
