Pasa Garden Beach Mini-hotel

So we've only rated 3 out of 5, even though we had a fantastic time this holiday. The location is second to none. Only about 5 metres from the beach. The hotel DOES NOT OWN THE BEACH SECTION, so I find it unacceptable for people to criticise because of the beach. The beach is quite gritty but is much better than other hotel's beach sections. Check-in was fast and efficient and there was a "bell boy" to help with the luggage. If you are thinking about booking Pasa Garden Beach Hotel, you need to realise that the hotel is actually in 2 sections. The reception section does have a lift. If you are in the sections with "side sea view", there is NO LIFT, and you could be as high as the 3rd floor. So that means up to 8 flights of stairs. We were in the reception building and we had a twin room. Comfortable bed, large wardrobe and a spacious bathroom with a large shower cubicle. The Air-con worked great, especially as the daytime temperature hit 43°C. The pool area is great, with plenty of sun loungers. Small round kids pool and a kidney-shaped pool which is 1.5m deep all across. The entertainment guy is called "Tony". He is brilliant, great fun and tries his best to get people involved but also isn't pushy if you say "no thank you". Please remember that this isn't a big hotel, so do not expect a huge variety of foods. There is always plenty of salad available. Breakfast time has several cereal options, toast, jams, fresh honey, bread toaster, croissants etc. Typical Turkish options also. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and fried eggs. If I had to mention something that needs improving, I would say THE LANGUAGE BARRIER. Apart from the reception staff and Tony, the entertainment guy, all of the other staff struggle with the English language. That might sound awful of me, but it is my personal opinion that when a hotel caters for certain nationalities, the basic language of those nationalities should be understood by restaurant and bar staff. When we asked for basic things like "knife, fork, salt, pepper, breakfast tea, milk, sugar", several restaurant staff had no idea what we were asking for. The fruit juice machine in the restaurant had water dispensing out of 3 options for 2 days. When I asked a waiter for English breakfast tea bag, his reply was "all gone", but he didn't even look for any. We then found a bowl full of them at the poolside bar. There was a tea/coffee machine, but if you wanted milk in it, you had to fetch the milk carton from the breakfast cereal area. On several days, there was only brown bread for toast. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, and their customers are permitted to use the hotels' toilets, but we even saw some use the swimming pool!! There is another bar next to the other side of the hotel (Batman Bar). This bar can be very noisy and into the early hours, but we were lucky, as the mayor had issued them with a 7 day closure notice. After all that I have said, we had an amazing time and he would cer

My partner and I visited marmaris and stayed in this hotel from the 3rd of June to the 13th of June. I'll start with the good points about the hotel first. Firstly, the location is great, meaning you can utilise the beach as well as the hotel. There are plenty of sunloungers, so there is not the usual disappointment trying to find one in the morning due to people camping overnight for them 🤣. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay aswell. Cleanliness was also very good around the hotel and in the hotel rooms themselves. Bad parts about this hotel are definitely the food. The food is pretty disgusting, and variety does not exist here. The same things are available daily. Spent the week eating the same beige safe foods as everything looked vile and cheap. The noise at night becomes very annoying especially after 10 nights of broken sleep. If you would like to actually have a nice sleep, do not come here. Lastly, we are a British couple and rarely found other British guests here. The hotel is highly populated with German and Russian people who made us feel uncomfortable with constant staring and remarks etc. We tried to made conversation on a few occurrences like people typically do, however they were always rude to us. I know we are in a foreign country but I've never felt so uncomfortably judged and stared at by everyone. Never felt so isolated on holiday. 😕This is never a problem when we visit marmaris usually at other hotels.
