I would recommend Hotel Stella Beach hotel with caution

I recently stayed, during July-24, at what was advertised as a 5-star hotel, but my experience was far from meeting European 5-star standards.
The lobby area and elevators were not air-conditioned, which made for an incredibly uncomfortable experience given the indoor temperatures ranged from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. It's paradoxical that a hotel claiming 5-star comfort does not provide basic relief from the summer heat in these common areas.
Air conditioning was only available in the hotel rooms, restaurant, lobby bar, and spa, which is inadequate for a supposed luxury establishment.

The staff, while welcoming upon arrival, had some shortcomings. Surprisingly, the reception staff were not proficient in basic conversational English, which is essential for a hotel catering to international guests. This language barrier made communication difficult and added unnecessary frustration to the stay.

The dining experience was a letdown. Despite the food being fresh, it was bland and repetitive. The unclear labels on dishes made it hard to identify what you were eating.

A concierge helped with bringing our luggage to the room.
The rooms were simple but decent and were cleaned by the nice housekeeping staff on a daily basis.

The spa was the saving grace of my stay, thanks to the lovely spa manager Habib, who was professional and spoke English fluently.
We were very pleased with the massagist Erkan - highly professional and attentive to the clients. His massage was a combination of techniques including Thai massage, traditional and hot stone massage. The pool area was clean, and the pool staff were attentive.

The lobby bar was nice. The animation team worked hard to create a good atmosphere for the guests.

In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel with caution as it is a budget hotel disguised as a 5-star establishment. The issues with food variety, the reception staff's language skills, and the lack of air conditioning in common areas were significant drawbacks. While the pool and spa provided some respite, they couldn't compensate for the overall disappointment. For those seeking a genuine 5-star experience, this hotel will not meet your expectations.

The hotel itself is okay. I have given only 3 stars as on the second day we had food poisoning and we lost our trips we had booked. We had to spend 3 days in the hotel. They were other people with this same issue. Not much choice for food either, very European, I expected more Turkish cuisine. It's not the first time we are in Turkey. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend SPA, The massage was marvelous.(I had 3)
