To start off, the room we had smelled off. Like a wet dog had been in it. We were so tired from getting in so late, we just pushed through it. Luckily I had some febreeze in my suitcase. There were scuffs all over the bathroom wall and there was no trash bag in the bin. When I walked into the bathroom I noticed that there was no conditioner so I asked for some and was told it would be brought up. Waited… asked again, waiting some more and finally just gave up.
Morning time came and went to go check out and needed to ask the concierge a question regarding a double charge on our card. He wasn’t busy and I was the only one near him that needed assistance. He never made eye contact with me and very rudely cut me off before I could ask my question. Eventually I grew tired of waiting and tossed my keys in the jar on the desk and left.
I will be needing to visit Atlanta several more times and I will 100% make sure this place won’t be on our list for places to stay.
I then canceled a stay in April with enough time per Marriott Bonvoy and was charged two weeks later for a cancellation fee which Marriott said should not have happened.
I spoke to Artis and he said he was the assistant manager and to call reservations for a refund code. I followed up again with Reservations and they said the facility would have to do the refund and they called Elements to let them know.
After going back and forth, with Artis and him
Saying the general manager is off until Monday they have stolen $203 from me.
A good review gone bad due to dishonest employees who steal credit card information and run false charges.
The worst part is black on black crime.
Thank you to Marriott Bonvoy for the case created and I pray for the management at Elements in Buckhead to correct the situation and refund my money ASAP!

The location is very convenient - there’s a few places to walk to if you’re hungry or want a snack/drink. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Parking is validated when needed to leave. Love that there is continental breakfast! The service was always great, too!
