Reviews
I mean, for a mere $400 a night, we were treated to a lovely stay on the 8th and 9th floors, complete with all the humidity issues you could dream of and an occasional whiff of something... well, let's just say it wasn't exactly a bouquet of roses. Missing sheets and some basic necessities? Just a quirky little touch to enhance the experience! After the event, when we returned to our "luxurious" room around midnight, we had the brilliant idea to contact the front desk about our missing sheets, towels, and pillows. Their response? Oh, just a little jaunt down to the lobby to fetch them ourselves—because who doesn’t love a midnight stroll? Apparently, for $400 a night, you get to be your own housekeeper.
And let’s not forget our culinary adventure! Trying to order food? Ha! Only available for lobby pick-up unless you're willing to shell out a whopping $20 for eight wings or a halo sandwich that was charred to perfection. Gourmet dining at its finest, folks!
Now, the valet parking—what a treat! I was graciously overcharged for parking my oversized GMC truck. The room was booked under my wife and me, but they somehow registered our second vehicle as a guest. So, what’s the grand total for one night? A mere $200! A steal, really! And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, they misplaced one of our vehicle keys, leaving us to wait for almost an hour. Truly, a once-in-a-lifetime experience in South Florida.
Next time, I’ll definitely remember to read the reviews before booking—because who wouldn't want to stay close to the bridal party in a place like this? Never again will we darken their doorstep. To anyone reading this, proceed with caution. And do check your bill closely because this place will definitely lighten your wallet! 😡
Thankfully, one of your male security officers, who was professional and compassionate, offered to help search the building. Together, we located my friend unconscious on a random floor, which could have easily turned into a more serious medical emergency had we not persisted.
Upon returning to inform the rest of our group, tensions escalated when the front desk woman became verbally aggressive toward me without provocation. Despite my clear attempt to disengage, she continued yelling and advancing toward me to the point where security had to physically restrain her. Shortly after, the police were called and my group was asked to leave the property, despite our sole intention being to assist a vulnerable individual.
This experience was both disappointing and disturbing. There was a complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic human decency displayed by the woman at the front desk. Her behavior was antagonistic and inappropriate, especially in a moment where guest safety and compassion should have been the top priority.
As someone who was not even a registered guest, but merely there to ensure a friend’s safety, I left feeling unsafe, dismissed, and shocked by the level of hostility we encountered. The failure to provide functioning security footage, paired with the aggressive behavior of your staff, raises serious concerns about the safety and hospitality standards at this location.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values security, compassion, or professionalism. I sincerely hope Hilton Corporate reviews this matter seriously and implements the necessary corrective action.
Nice hotel on a marina. Good restaurant. I stay here frequently. Valet for cars a but expensive. But all in Miami is.
Great location, beautiful bay view and plenty of shops for food and last minute travel items. I did not care for the location of our room on that 9th floor it was the second to last felt like we literally walked a mile to the room from the Elevator. Room and hallways was a little out dated. But overall not a bad stay.
