Hutton Hotel

I expected a lot from the Hutton Hotel, but was really disappointed with the room quality. There were a litany of mechanical and electrical deficiencies in the room that had to be fixed when we were in the room. One of the more unfortunate surprises was the cost to park a car at the hotel (per day + tips for the valet). It was more than the cost of the multi-day rental car itself. I don't believe that was mentioned when I reviewed rooms on the Hutton Hotel website. Perhaps I missed it? Had I known this, I would have selected a different hotel. There is also a "resort fee" of $20/person/day. It's hard to justify the "resort fee" as you walk through the hotel. On the good side, live music at the Analog Room was exceptional. However, the quality of the hotel's live music and the wonderful people who work there could not overcome the "nickel and diming" of resort and parking fees and the ordinary and unspectacular rooms. It was one of the more forgettable hotel experiences I've had in some time. The Hutton Hotel left a bad taste in one's mouth.

Staff was friendly when we first arrived. Was no where on booking that restaurant and bar being renovated. Already had checked in before told. Valet parking let window down so floor was wet. They were not concerned. Couldn't get ice. Asked for reduced rate cause wasn't happy. Still no email with what I paid.I've emailed them not response. Hotel was nice but won't recommend
