Virgin Hotels

A new hotel in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Staffs are nice, location is great, room is spacious, and amenities are new and in excellent condition. Room is very clean.  Love every aspect of it.

Just returned from a lovely 5 day trip to NOLA where I stayed at this hotel. I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was friendly, checking in and out was a breeze, and the room was comfortable and spacious. It felt like a home away from home. As an early riser I appreciated being able to acquire espresso at 7am at the Funny Library. I was travelling with a friend and we had separate reservations; the hotel was able to accommodate my request for us to be on the same floor and this was greatly appreciated. The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance to the French Quarter and the ferry. I didn’t end up having time to use the pool, however the staff up there were incredibly welcoming and it looked like a great spot to relax and take a dip or use the lounge chairs. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great hotel! Room was lovely and clean. Good location with a CVS store minutes away. Beautiful roof top bar with great views. Let down a little by the guy serving drinks. Real attitude and served our drinks in a hot glasses. Front desk guys were great.

The rooms were excellent. Very comfortable beds. Controls for lighting and AC on the TV were super cool. Dual overhead/wand shower, awesome. The view from the pool bar is fantastic. Had a postcard sunset our last night. All the staff were super friendly but want to single out the doorman Tim for his over-the-top excellent service. Easy walking distance or short Uber ride to all the attractions. Can't wait to stay here again.

Great stay! Room was so cozy, staff were all so friendly and lovely. Location was awesome, quick walk or trolley to wherever you needed to go. Pool club was great, funny library was great, bar & commons club was fantastic. Total stay would have been 5/5 but my only grievances is that 1) the pool should be open later than 7pm, people are out exploring and being tourists and if you go out and do all those things and go for dinner, you completely miss getting to use the pool. 2) there should be some way to cover the pool area from the elements because it rains a lot in New Orleans and you miss getting to use this amenity on rainy days which sucks. 3) we accidentally left our expensive stainless steel water bottles behind on the roof in our last day, I tried calling to see if someone could find them for us and I tried calling 6 times over the course of an hour while I was at the airport waiting for my flight and the front desk person could not get anyone upstairs at the pool area to answer. She sent an email with me attached and I also sent my own email to the hotel and never heard back, that was pretty disappointing. 4) the mini bar is outrageously priced. A couple dollar mark up is whatever but also double the price for a can of wine is extreme.

Absolutely amazing! Second trip to visit Virgin hotel and it never disappoints. The hotel is cool with fun artwork and overall genuinely beautifully designed, but my favorite part is the staff. Every Single Employee is kind, thoughtful, and cares about every guest. Thank you so much for making my birthday and my husband’s first trip to NOLA so spectacular.

Beautiful, clean and great amenities. The pool bar is an amazing vibe.

I am forever grateful to the staff at Virgin New Orleans for their hospitality and gorgeous accommodations. Let me first say that this hotel is absolutely stunning, the rooms, the art, the ambiance, the food, the COCKTAILS!!! The staff is superb, friendly, informative, and joyful. The hotel has an amazing energy and a delightful aroma that carries through all the way to the rooms.
During our stay New Orleans got hit with Hurricane Ida and the staff and management didn't miss a beat. The generator provided current to for the elevators, they served us family style meals and beverages and really catered to not only their out of town guests but their residents as well. I am writing this from one of their amazing chambers as we await word from the airports regarding our flight.
So a huge thank you to the entire Team at Virgin Hotel in New Orleans. this will always be my resting place once I am here in New Orleans.
A Special shout out to Tracy, Tina, Jeremy, Stephen, Josh and last but certainly not least the lovely guitar playing hostess with the funky tights, who's energy and hospitality was absolutely amazing!!!
