A Truly Exceptional Experience – My Favorite NYC Hotel

I’ve stayed at the Soho Grand Hotel multiple times, and every stay has been absolutely exceptional. The hotel is stunning, with a chic, sophisticated design and a cool, effortlessly stylish vibe. The location is ideal—quiet yet close to incredible restaurants, shops, and everything Soho has to offer.

From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed by the doormen and bellhops, who are beyond accommodating and genuinely go out of their way to ensure you feel seen and taken care of. They seem to anticipate what you need before you even ask. The front desk staff is equally amazing—friendly, professional, and efficient.

The concierge service ( namely Anthony), is phenomenal!! On our most recent visit, they managed to secure an extremely hard-to-get dinner reservation last minute. They never disappoint and consistently go above and beyond.

The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms are gorgeous with great lighting and water pressure, and I love the fun baskets in the room filled with anything you might need for convenience and comfort.

The lounge is such a fun spot at night—great atmosphere, great cocktails, and always a good time.

Whether it’s been a romantic anniversary weekend with my husband or a fun birthday getaway with my best friend, every stay has been perfect. The Soho Grand is my go-to in NYC—I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We plan on returning in the spring for another fun filled weekend! I highly, highly recommend it for any occasion.

From contacting Reservations Manager, Alexis who was incredibly kind and helpful and referred me to Lead Concierge Anthony - who arranged car service and shared many tips about NYC - we experienced complete customer service excellence.

The beds were incredibly comfortable! I have to know what mattress, sheets, and pillows they use! I didn't want to get out of bed. The shower was wonderful and hot! I loved the waterfall shower head. I could stay in there forever. Great location, great service! They always have something going on here. It's where the fun happens! I felt safe at this hotel. The outside, surrounding area, is overall fairly safe. There are some weirdos in the area after 11 p.m., so stay alert. I did hear some car honks in my room, but that's normal for NYC. I would highly recommend this place for a future stay!

This hotel and staff are exceptional, and I have stayed at several comparable hotels in the city over the years.

The service exceeds expectations. The guest services and bell/door staff Staff offer amenities and remember you and your routine, even if you don’t travel frequently. There are multiple different restaurant and bar options within and just outside the hotel.

The room is spacious, clean and quiet, which while traveling on business is important to me. The bed is so comfortable! Room staff didn’t knock if the do not disturb sign is out. You’d be surprised how often that happens at other hotels.

Overall an exceptional experience that is highly recommended!

The hotel is decorated in a fancy style, has a good location, large rooms and good service.

Nice hotel but too noisy at night. Reception does not pick up the call for long time. Would expect batter service at the rate paid in NYC.

This place is nice everything but I swear this hotel is haunted. I heard a demon at the front lobby. Y'all can call me crazy but this place gives me the creeps. You probably won't notice it if you are not sensitive to energies. Apart from that it's really gorgeous and kinda gothic. Super fancy and fabulous.
