Upon check-in, I was given a room that was not cleaned and not ready for a guest. I was then moved to another room. I requested an ashtray and laundry service, but no one came for more than one hour despite several calls.
The staff member who collected my laundry said it would take 1 day, while the reception said 2 days, showing poor communication and inconsistent information.
I also requested repair of the room phone, and until the time of writing this review, it has not been fixed, which made communication with reception and services very difficult.
Additionally, I ordered food through a delivery app, and the hotel refused to let the delivery person bring it to my room, and also refused to send any staff to assist, forcing me to go downstairs and collect it myself.
This level of service is unprofessional and unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
Honestly, I do not recommend staying here unless they seriously improve their customer service.
Firstly the hotel is very reasonably priced and to some extend it is worth the money since it is really convenient to nearby shopping mall, theatre’s, restaurants.
Considering the rooms - it’s clean but some things which are minimal but needs to pointed out are the AC which i centrally controlled by them. Suddenly its high suddenly low… the wash basin sink drain in washroom is open which looks very dirty n unpleasant. This i experienced in my stay twice.
So overall it’s really worth the money stay.
But sadly, the TV is the most outdated (and saddest!) one we’ve ever seen. The bathroom had constant leaks, plus water dripping from the ceiling in P2 since the day we arrived. Not very confident about the cleanliness of the carpet and chairs either. Parking was another issue — very dark with no proper lighting.
Overall, excellent location, but the facilities badly need upgrading and proper maintenance.
How can 1 in their right state of mind separate a family with 2 children? As if that wasn't enough, the so-called upgrades were truthfully not good at all. We just went back to the reception, requested we get what we paid for even if it's the standard ordinary rooms or we get refunded and look elsewhere.
At that moment, what we booked became available and on the same floor next to each other, and trust me it was way much better than the claimed upgrades. However, the TV wasn't working in one of the rooms; I mean the channels were a problem. They just ignored our plea on that.
Wasn't good service from them, but the house help was good and friendly - I mean the cleaners and all. Problem was with the receptionists. Very horrible service we got from them
Their food roon service also is exceptional. Foods were served hot and tasty.
I was in Fujairah on a business trip and happened to stop by City Tower Hotel for a quick lunch. The hotel is conveniently located in the city with easy access, making it a great spot for both business and leisure travelers.
To my surprise, I discovered a fantastic South Indian restaurant inside the hotel called Kairali — absolutely worth a visit! The food was delicious and authentic, perfect for a satisfying lunch.
The hotel also offers very competitive room rates, and I found both the Food & Beverage menu to be incredibly affordable. Whether you’re staying overnight or just dropping by for a meal, it’s definitely a place to try — especially for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
